mark94: I just can't see how flooding your country with foreign-born Third Worlders with no connection to the host culture is a justifiable answer to dealing with aging boomers. Frankly, native-born millennials and Gen Z (the ones that aren't gay or trans) would be having more kids if they didn't have to compete for jobs with all these migrants, which would address the problem. Who cares about addressing aging if only 25% of your country will be speaking proper English by 2050? What exactly have you preserved?

@mark94: "The birth rate is so low that, without immigration, the US will have the demographic of a nursing home in 40 years." mark, I think this is kind of a mainstream neoliberal talking point that has seeped into most peoples' thinking that really wouldn't be a problem at all. Let's say there was no immigration. Even if America's population fell from 330 million to 220 million in a couple of generations, everything would be fine. The economy would adjust. In fact, jobs would pay more, be easier to get, etc. That's not to mention the massive benefits in terms of better social cohesion, less tension, heck, less time waiting at airports, restaurants, etc. The globalists use these canards such as "we need mass immigration because there are jobs Americans won't do" or "our population will age" and these other economic arguments as excuses to get their cheap labor. The Western countries would be fine - and better off - without mass immigration. These are just talking points they throw out there to justify their destruction of Western culture via mass migration.

chiefwiggum: I always hear about liberals in the U.S. viewing Canada as some kind of tolerant, progressive paradise. I recall the liberal promises to move to Toronto after Trump was elected too. The truth is Toronto is exactly like what you've described Chicago and San Fran to be. Unlike the 1990s stereotype, Toronto is no longer clean and beautiful. The city is congested, broken, and ridiculously expensive in terms of rent and COL. As to the question of SE Asians - yes, it's all those ethnicities you listed. And no, there is nothing inherently wrong with any group in my view, as I adhere to the classically liberal/JFK way of thinking (which of course now bears no resemblance whatsoever to modern woke liberalism). But the question is, even if one has no animus toward S/E Asians, does that mean one should tolerate them becoming ~80-90% of your community? I know you didn't intend it this way necessarily, but that is the standard neoliberal way of saying "hey these people are fine, be cool with them." That line of thinking made sense in the '80's and '90s when newcomers and foreigners were hovering at about 20% or less of the population, were encouraged to assimilate and speak English, and American/Western culture was strong and everyone was expected to support it. Here in Toronto, especially in the downtown core, you see only Asians (East, South, etc). To encounter someone who speaks in an unbroken, traditional native-born accent is extremely rare. The change over the last 30-35 years or so is staggering if one takes a moment to compare against how things were. Which were better. Demonstrably better. Take this example, I deeply respect Japanese culture. I find the culture emphasizes cleanliness, discipline, politeness, dignity, and hard work. I think these values should be promoted in a society. Most encounters I have with Japanese individuals are positive. Every time I go to a sushi restaurant, it is immaculately clean, so much so as to lift the spirit. If music is playing, it is always soothing and low volume. The seating is almost always comfortable. I am pretty much always treated politely, I get exactly what I order at a good portion, and the food is always fresh. The server is always professional with fast service. There's pretty much never an error in the bill, and if I have a question, it's answered with calmness and politeness. But if you walked into a bar in Dallas, Texas one day and suddenly it was 90% Japanese folks...like no one in cowboy hats, no country music playing, no line dancing, and everyone was speaking Japanese, would it still be the same? That's basically Toronto now, but with the S/E Asians. To clarify, Japanese aren't the ones flooding into Toronto (it's the other groups you listed above), but I use this as an example that even if the people and their behavior are admirable, there should still be an emphasis on cultural preservation. Finally, and notably, the groups coming into Toronto do not, ahem, necessarily have the same emphasis on cleanliness, etc. as the Japanese do.

I thought skibum's remarks were rather accurate, tbh. Don't blame someone who is merely giving it to you straight. He's basically talking about consumer confidence, which is indeed way down. @WILLYSGOTAWOMAN: "Don't know if its still COVID or all the illegal immigrants who used to give me lap dances were deported." I highly doubt anyone's being deported these days, Willy. In fact, on my last trip to Vegas, about 80-90% of the dancers I encountered were Cubans, Columbians, or Brazilians with a heavy accent. Yes they were pretty, and fine if you like that type, but the change is stunning if you compare back to earlier times. Even as recently as 2015 or so, you'd be surrounded by hot blondes and girl-next-door type brunette and redhead all-American pretty college students. Dance contact was also middling. Pretty girls are pretty girls, but I, for one, liked getting dances from all-American cheerleader types named Tiffany or Brittany, or athletic brunettes named Piper or Madison.

I also took the question to be about real world. I'm in Toronto, Canada, and the decline in my lifetime may be more drastic than anywhere else. I remember it being a clean, safe, and great city in the '80s and '90s, and since then it's fallen off a clip to become a dysfunctional hellhole. The biggest and most stunning change that you can see is from mass immigration and demographic change. It's staggering. South and East Asians everywhere. I was in the U.S. recently too and noticed similar things happening in the big cities though with differing groups. It's the R-word. It's not a conspiracy theory and it's obviously happening. Tell the truth. Let's just all tell the truth. Disagree or agree on whether you think it's good or not...fine. But let's just tell the damn truth.

French Canadien Strippers
I would agree that while being hotter in general versus the general population of chicks, they just don't deliver and there's always problems with their dances, etc. (airdance or don't deliver in VIP). I would guess that if you're a francophone you'll get better treatment from them. But if not, I find them cold and a much higher-than-average ROB risk. It's almost like a light quasi-airdance and no overcounting with them is a win. They're like the polar opposites of friendly Florida chicks, who are down-to-earth, don't take themselves too seriously, and are usually good grinders. I know Montreal is renowned for being a big strip club town, but I think that reputation is mostly a holdover from the '70s to '90s era because things were uptight back then and the province of Quebec was more loose liberally with lots of burlesque shows, etc. Now, rural Montreal is an extras place and downtown Ste. Catherine Street is a tease-type airdance atmosphere. In sum, French Canadian girls feel that because they're hotter they can get away by doing less and demanding more money for it, and they get reinforced in this thinking in their clubs back home. It's reached the point where I just pass on French Canadian chicks.

^But, sounds like in Florida, the teachers can't even require basic manners in all cases. If a kid with same-sex parents is getting harassed by other kids, the teacher can't even tell them what they're doing is not justified. Back up this claim by citing the appropriate legislation in question. How is it that "If a kid with same-sex parents is getting harassed by other kids, the teacher can't even tell them what they're doing is not justified..." in Florida?

The dilemma faced by the GOP is that DeSantis is more electable than Trump in a general election (by a significant margin) but Trump is far more beloved by the GOP base, making a DeSantis victory in the primary seem very unlikely. Before the Alvin Bragg indictment of Trump, the polls had Trump ahead something like 50-30 in the GOP primary. Since Trump was arrested and the party base rallied around him, the polls are now more like 60-20 Trump over DeSantis. Can't see Heavy D winning this, but I suppose it's possible with a great campaign and tons of money (the latter of which he will have).

the illegal alien invasion
It amazes me that leftists like to dismiss replacement theory as though it's a crazy conspiracy when the UN specifically has called for it since at least 2000 in a document still publicly viewable on their site: https://press.un.org/en/2000/20000317.dev2234.doc.html "United Nations projections indicate that between 1995 and 2050, the population of Japan and virtually all countries of Europe will most likely decline. [...] Focusing on these two striking and critical trends, the report examines in detail the case of eight low-fertility countries (France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, United Kingdom and United States) and two regions (Europe and the European Union). In each case, alternative scenarios for the period 1995-2050 are considered, highlighting the impact that various levels of immigration would have on population size and population ageing. [...] Population decline is inevitable in the absence of replacement migration. Fertility may rebound in the coming decades, but few believe that it will recover sufficiently in most countries to reach replacement level in the foreseeable future." And is it any coincidence that, since then, our neighborhoods in Western countries look dramatically different than they did just a couple of decades ago? I mean, immigration here and there is one thing. But this is obviously intentional. It's happening. Trust what you see with your own eyes. The elites are indeed replacing the traditional populations of Western countries with docile and more compliant people from the Third World, and they're using a flood-the-zone strategy to do it. The overwhelming changes you see in your community are not some mirage. It's happening in real time. Frankly, the onus is now on the leftists/Democrats to convince you otherwise. Apparently, it's getting really bad in the UK and specifically, Ireland. The governments there are starting to recognize they can't hide it with propaganda and fake news anymore. I mean, when you walk into O'Malley's Pub in Dublin and there's 30 Somalians speaking raucously in their own language having taken over the billiards tables, at some point between ordering your Guinness and finishing your steak & kidney pie, you're going to realize your country and culture is completely gone no matter what the state-run media tells you.

King Charles III 👑 Bop-bada-bapada-baaaaa !!!!
The main reason is because male primogeniture is so important in the royal ascension that the title of King (even King Consort) would supercede the title of Queen (a King cannot be a mere consort, whereas a Queen can). So the title of Prince is given to someone who was in Prince Philip's position so the monarch isn't overshadowed by the title of a living King.

Brittany Griner freed in exchange for arms dealer Bout
^The choice Russia gave was Griner or nobody. This doesn't appear to be correct based on NBC's original reporting on the matter. See below video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7rnCC8gupQ#t=31m38s NBC retro-edited its reporting to make it seem like Whelan was never offered, but it appears the former marine who served the US was purposely deemed less important than WNBA star Griner. For anyone paying attention to what's been happening in modern America, it shouldn't be hard to figure out why.

Manhattan lap dance clubs
This is about on par with my experiences with the NYC underground lap dance scene circa 2017-2018. That is, lots of glitz and show but relatively tame dances. Seems like they've dipped even further since then. That said, they were okay for a change of pace then and just to see what all the fuss was about. Overall, if they're not providing high contact dances (which they clearly aren't), I don't see how they're worth the bother. There was apparently another place in the early 2010s or so called "NY Lapdance Club" or something similarly straightforward that was apparently great, but I missed the boat on that as I only went to Lido.

If it is back to the previous lapdances (even at $30 or $40 each but without the curtains), that is a notable development. The house fees here and the dance minimums right after the pandemic made it sound ridiculous. I'd be surprised if they got rid of them though.

Rock fans; when did Rock and Roll start to decline for you?
Oh ilbbaicnl. Ye who says race and gender are "social constructs." Alas, with you and Icee, the lefties here are much more vocal, and - your voices being the loudest - I don't think my viewpoint would get through all the noise and vitriol. I am but a moderate after all, shocked to see what has happened in the West since 2015. America will soon be home to no more than 25% of its founding Christian stock. In no other country would such a development be seen as acceptable, but the globalists have very carefully planned what lies ahead for the West. It can be seen every time one ventures out of their home and looks around at the drastic changes taking place. Been to Minneapolis lately? Demographics is destiny. I have a set-in disadvantage in such discussions in that I do not take ad hominem personal shots. I merely stick to the arguments at hand. I will say only that the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show is representative of America's future.

Rock fans; when did Rock and Roll start to decline for you?
The decline of rock and roll music is directly linked to America's changing demographics. As the nation diversifies at a breakneck pace each year, the core all-American genre of rock and roll, as well as the artists that produced so many incredible classics through the '50s to the '80s, fades away. Whether it's Bill Haley and his Comets, The Beach Boys, The Eagles, Van Halen, Starship, Chicago (notice how this runs the gamut from soft rock to hard rock) the genre of rock and roll does not appeal to the majority of America's current demographic composition. Urban/hip hop music started to become the predominant form of music in North America and England in the 1990s, and this process was completed during the 2010s. If one needs a picture that conveys the modern reality of the American musical landscape, one only needs to look at the last Super Bowl Halftime Show in Los Angeles, which featured exclusively hip hop music and a grand total of one white performer (Eminem). The wonderful music of rock and roll - and all that it represented for those that loved what America and the West used to stand for - will nonetheless live on in the memories and hearts of traditional Americans, as the nation itself continues to be consumed by globalism.

Thanks for the suggestion Eddy but I'm not into extras, plus HOL is just too divey and the ROB factor is off the charts. Also, it's notorious as a place where if something goes wrong with one of the dancers (overcounting, etc.) management won't ever take the customer's side. I actually find the classier places like Rail will be more balanced.

Two visits, fun time as always
"One other noteworthy interaction: several girls would hang out by the bar areas, 9 or 10 in looks. They clearly knew it as well. I approached two to talk at one point, who were gorgeous Cali blondes. However, they were both very aloof, and said they only did 30-60 min VIP rooms." Very much in character for the Rhino. I remember this being the case for years well before the pandemic, and it was the main reason I preferred Sapphire (it was much rarer there). Review mentions a $20 floor dance, but recent reviews indicate that isn't the rate most girls charge now, as $40 seems to be the new floor standard.
