Do people feel like SCs are fully back?

Quality is still down in my neighborhood. Don't know if its still COVID or all the illegal immigrants who used to give me lap dances were deported.

I believe the effects of COVID are behind us, but what you’re experiencing is more like the new normal. The glory days of the strip club are behind us, and most areas are seeing more strip clubs closing down every year.

I don't believe Covid-19 is a factor anymore. If a club isn't doing well now, it's other stuff.

Like others said, I don't think there are direct COVID links to club issues now but there is certainly some secondary effects. Inflation is higher, some clubs lost their day shifts, perhaps because of the shift to WFH for a lot of regulars who'd stop in for lunch or after work.

COVID is just a convenient time period marker at this point.

Economy is in a rough spot, customer counts are down due to WFH, girls have other options such as SA, OnlyFans, or working IG.

Meanwhile, for the clubs that are still operating, guys have a bit more leverage.

Covid destroyed societies hope for a future free from governmental tyranny and people without hope are not joyful. There is little joy among the general public nowadays, despite watching Biden bumble around like some kind of fucked up, demented loser.

^Damn Skibum, that’s a really sad commentary. I’d prefer to think that strip clubs are closing as the result of gentrification and escalating property values.

I think top talent is gone the way of IG and OnlyFans. These girls will figure out that they make as much money without the hassles of going to the clubs. If the OnlyFans market goes the same way as podcasts and YouTube, some of these girls will come back to the clubs, at least part-time.

On the other side of the coin, PLs are not spending. Call it Covid, inflation, whatever, but the market for these people is not good. Whales and big spenders alone cannot keep a club going, they need an entire market. With PLs attendance down, fewer clubs survive.

While we are not in a golden age (when was the last golden age anyway?) PLs definitely have leverage. (Well, maybe not in Las Vegas, but give it time...)

g’damn ski, that is dark. I prescribe weed + tits + ass, STAT.

In my neck of the woods, clubs are thriving and I get extras 99.9% of the time. Everything is stable at $40 for one and three for $100.

I thought skibum's remarks were rather accurate, tbh. Don't blame someone who is merely giving it to you straight. He's basically talking about consumer confidence, which is indeed way down.

@WILLYSGOTAWOMAN: "Don't know if its still COVID or all the illegal immigrants who used to give me lap dances were deported."

I highly doubt anyone's being deported these days, Willy. In fact, on my last trip to Vegas, about 80-90% of the dancers I encountered were Cubans, Columbians, or Brazilians with a heavy accent. Yes they were pretty, and fine if you like that type, but the change is stunning if you compare back to earlier times. Even as recently as 2015 or so, you'd be surrounded by hot blondes and girl-next-door type brunette and redhead all-American pretty college students.

Dance contact was also middling. Pretty girls are pretty girls, but I, for one, liked getting dances from all-American cheerleader types named Tiffany or Brittany, or athletic brunettes named Piper or Madison.

Just wait until government mandates a cashless society so there is a digital record of every transaction. Those proposals are being considered.

Deporting people has an effect only after it occurs, so the current rate is kind of irrelevant. I lost a favorite Brazilian to deportation three years ago, which definitely impaired my interest in her club.

She was deported during the Trump administration (i.e. before 2021)?

I only really know 1 club. Day shift is the same it's ever been. 9 - 12 girls, 2,3 so-so or bigger than I like, couple HWP, half or so athletic or lean , varying degrees of pretty. 20-25% chance of hotties.

What we think vs. what the girls think vs. what club owners think are going to be three very different answers, I suspect.

I started flying to Florida during covid and since then I've been less and less satisfied with my local clubs. But I think there's been a lasting decline in talent here in flyover country regardless of any comparison to FL.

Strip clubs are changing because of demographic/generational change. Older guys are not being replaced by younger guys, due to cultural differences (alcohol consumption); lack of funds; a life geared towards on-line, not face to face 100% of the time and I assume, but don't know, that younger guys would prefer civilian freebies to paying.
One aspect of life all guys share is drunk calling girls after a night of striking out at the club. One aspect younger guys will never know is making those drunk calls with a handful of dimes from phone booth by the side of the road.

^ they don't know what the term "dropping a dime" means. And if you explain it, they don't know what a pay phone is.

Just depends on where you live. I think the only way South FL strip clubs fail is if there is a atomic bomb. LOL

There have been changes. Tootsies is more tighter than a gorilla fist now. With charging cover early and taking away half price drinks for top shelf liquor. Along with no more $100 bottles during the day.

And if Biden should run again, the general public will vote for him again proving they are fucked up, too.

Lots of good points made here above. Yes, younger men are not going to clubs as much as older men. Could be they just want to look at free porn on their phone, could be lack of money,.who knows.

I only go to clubs during weekday afternoons and yes most clubs are not the same, less dancers, less high quality dancers as far as looks. Seems like more dancers are open to extras or OTC, unfortunately most of those dancers I'm not willing to do either with as my standards are high.

Only one clubs comes to mind as having the same amount and high quality of dancers, maybe even more, and that's Cheetah's in San Diego. Yes, yes I know most will say it's not known for extras. But there are some open minded. The mix is the same as before covid, heavy Caucasian, probably 70%, then latina and mix of others.

    This is the new normal.

Also remember there are tons of service industry jobs right now. A pretty girl who can make $500 a night stripping or $300 a night waiting tables will often choose the latter if she has never stripped before.

Guys with money are anxious and girls without money have other options. It's kind of a perfect storm for quality to dip.

That said, locally our post covid girls are pretty solid.
