Tim, I've only been at night, but I'm OK with the "quality" and "quantity". But MG mgmt screwed one of my ATFs, so I'm pissed at them, and no longer recommending the club.

Yeah, Tim, that's the one. I've soured on MG recently, hence not specifically citing it.

I see your point, Clubber. But unless several of the other dancers are in on the "yeah, she's a bitch" riff, it's not true in this case.

No similar experience, but wow, good story. ;-)
I'd like street clothes for an LD, just in general. Seems more out of the ordinary. A lady prancing around in lingerie, well, it's not surprising when she starts grinding on you. But street clothes? Day yum, am I at a SC or the mall? ;-)

Apparently, about 3/4 of the dancers at Mardi Gras haven't heard of "Atlanta Air" -- while it's rare to get *serious* grindage out on the floor, there is still plenty of good contact from most of the dancers. I personally don't recommend MG anymore (see my latest review) but I can't imagine that it's the only club like that.
Although my experience at Oasis is limited, most of the floor dances I've gotten there are way more than air, too.
As to what you're used to in Michigan, Main Stage has a couch room that's $20/song. Both dancers that I took there basically just sat on my lap and ground away -- one waited til halfway into the song, but still.... Dunno if I got lucky (in dancer choice) or what. Apparently, that's more than they're supposed to do, though, as one night the owner was there, and a dancer warned me not to bother with the couch room, as I wouldn't get anything better than what I got on the floor.

"Mayor Eduardo Paes says Williams is envious of Rio's achievement."
Yeah, Robin's always wanted to have the Olympics in his back yard. How the heck can a man be envious of a city?

A couple clubs in Atlanta have free/reduced cover coupons on the web. Question though: Is the idea to entice you to try it out the first time? Does it seem PL to use a free pass multiple times?

Dougster, your reading comprehension sucks. I start by saying that I'm interested in what she likes and you ask "who cares what she likes?"

So what shadowcat is saying is that we all need to practice more so we can get better at the art. ;-)

how, just so you know, I wasn't knocking on you. And given how high the bar is set for you (given the abundance of FS), I can see that you'd classify something like that as lame. ;-)
Usually, I am using dances as an "audition" to decide if I want to go VIP. Remember, this is Atlanta -- so if there's nothing but "Atlanta air" in a floor dance, fuggetaboutit.
The last "last dance" I had was with a dancer I had just met, and by the time she was done, she had *me* ready to go VIP right then. My next time back at the club, I made a bee-line for her. We *did* have one drink first, but I set a personal record for "time in club to time in VIP" that night. ;-)

"... from what i can see, the 'dancers' do the same thing no matter what song is playing."
Then you aren't seeing real dancing. Was hanging with my ATF the other night, and some songs came on (throughout the night) that she really liked to dance to. I thought she was going to give me a heart attack. ;-)
She told me later that if she hears a song she likes and is considering adding it to her music, she'll practice what's she going to do 25-50 times before it ever gets played in the club. And, d@mn, I believe her.

I only know/remember where 3 dancers live, and they average about 35 miles from their club. Of course, this is Atlanta, and as shadowcat knows, that's 35 lightyears in most other cities, esp the ones that have to traverse I-285. ;-)

Ditto what Chise said.
Dougster, there's no more PL than someone who thinks that anyone who shows any emotion (other than disdain) for dancers is a PL.

Book Guy, I see what you're saying, but not in this case. He genuinely did suck at his job.

slickpeter, the only 2 guesses I have as to why the bouncer keeps checking in are (1) it's in uptight Atlanta and (2) the one that does it the most is (in the words of the dancer I was with most recently) an "@ssf*cker".
(Which was actually an interesting choice of words, as she said it while I was seated and she was face-down, hands on the floor, feet at my hips, grinding away. ;-)
She noted that he sucked at it, though, as he checked 4 times in an hour and never caught her once (and never has before).

SP, some guys prefer it for a similar reason that they prefer dividers between the urinals.
When I saw the title, I thought it was going to be about lack of interruption. It's a buzzkill for me when some bouncer pokes his head in like some kinda @ssh0le voyeur.

It *is* enforced in Atlanta. My ATF was going to move to another club and had to get the license. Once she was down the $350, then the club started treating her like shit. Makes me wonder if the gov't doesn't give the club a kick-back.
