Thanks, whodey, I completely forgot about Blue Diamond, probably because it sucks so bad I haven't even bothered with it since my last review of the place. The Frog can be fun, but it will be expensive. I've had some really nice times there, but I usually don't feel like crossing the river, especially now with the I64 bridge under construction.
As far as I know, none of the clubs down Dixie Hwy are still open. I get down to Radcliff once or twice a month, and there's nothing ever there anymore.

I've had "good" visits for the last few months. "Good" means plenty of handsiness in lap dances, the occasional blow job in a VIP, and enough OTC bites to make weekday lunch breaks interesting.
This weekend is the Oaks and Derby, and most of the clubs will be standing room only shortly after the main race is over, so I'll probably stay home. Totally not interested in fighting the crowds and the high rollers.

In the main, yes. Recently more as shopping trips for girls willing to do OTC than pure enjoyment of the club itself. To be clear, they're still fun, though.

There's a local guy who looks like he's only a couple of steps above homeless. Dresses in cheap clothes, drives an old Mazda, always seems to have 3 days of grizzled growth on his face. Makes <em>bank</em> at the track. He's given me a couple of tips on races and they paid off pretty good. One of the girls I've hung with for a couple of years now says he comes in almost ever week, and drops between 3 and 5K on one or two girls. Given how many times in one night I've seen him go to a VIP in one night, I can believe it.

That's one possibility. Another is that she's not exactly looking forward to trying to coax dances out of the some of the cheapskates who park themselves at the stage and tip a dollar for the whole set. Or, a regular whale who will probably fund her entire night has texted her saying he'll be there in 30 minutes. Or there's nobody in the club that she wants to talk to; that whole independent contractor thing is a bugger sometimes. Or the baby sitter called. Or she just wants to relax after her set. Or she wants to touch up her makeup after her set. Or she's smoking a blunt to get her through the next hour until her next set. Or the manager/owner has called her into the office because of some perceived slight. Or she's fucking one of the other dancers in the dressing room (Yes, that happens; saw it a couple of times in a club where the dressing room door was in the same hallway that let to the VIP rooms.)
Or a thousand other reasons.

It's not that big a mystery. Dealing with creepy old perverts wears on them. I've heard that time and time again from various strippers. I realize that all of the regular posters here are respectful gentlemen who spend freely, but apparently, the vast majority of customers aren't so gentlemanly or generous. A break in a "safe space" lets them recuperate a little. And face it, you're gonna wait. And if <em>you</em> won't, someone else will. No skin off her nose whose money she takes.

This. Someone on our local USASG sugar board made this suggestion some time before I actually started seeking, and it worked well for me. First date was <em>always</em> just coffee/lunch, occasionally dinner, but never the sex part. A couple of them ended up in sex after the first meet, but when I was doing that, my thing was not to do that most of the time, in order to give her a non-confrontational way to decline.
