I’m with Warrior. The general thought is that evening begins either when the typical workday ends (around 5) or sunset, but that’s too vague.
If you’re going to dinner after work at 6, you say “I’m going out to dinner this evening” you don’t say “I’m going to dinner this afternoon”.
So 8 pm is the incorrect answer, although the strip club world is its own bizarre universe

Good explanation. You’re exactly right. My high school physics was just memorize the formula and plug and chug.
When I actually learned how the formula was derived everything seems so elegant.
Designers of the curriculum believe they are making it easier on the student by making the math requirements less rigorous but in fact it makes learning science harder

Back in my day Calculus was not taught in high school so my high school physics was not calculus based. Then in college I took calculus based physics.
I think using The Calculus makes physics far more understandable. The same can be said for Economics. It’s a disservice to students to teach non calculus based physics and Econ. Teach them a little calculus first and the subject will be far more understood

D’scrub is correct. Just read an article that his tuna sandwich was the key to his conviction.
If JS feared for his life he would have ran away leaving his sandwich behind but he brought it back to his apartment in perfect condition.
He at least should have smashed it or something to make it look like he was attacked

I have an acquaintance on social media that is in the same sports groups I’m in. He’s socially awkward and pretty weird - think Alucard weird.
He “likes” every one of his own posts and people call him out and it’s hilarious cite reasons to like his own stuff.
If he’s any indication of the type of person that likes their owns posts, then I can understand why some here do.

Very sad.
It’s too early to speculate on the cause of death but if it turns out to be CTE related, then it’s another strike against the NFL relative to head injuries.
There was a question in a sports group that asked “if you woke up 30 years from now, how would sports look?”
I predict there will be no NFL. at least not the same game we see day

The hypocrisy at the University of Chicago is enough to make the liberal minds in Hyde Park explode.
Safety is used as one of the University’s greatest marketing ploys, the implication and underlying message is that there is something dangerous to be kept safe from, that there is something intrinsically dangerous about everything outside the University.
But how can that be? After all the students and faculty support BLM and defunding the police. The campus urges students to embrace the culture of Chicago and reject the mainstream thought of the racist fueled notion that the surrounding neighborhoods are dangerous.
So if the university touts its huge security force and other safety measures, what is it exactly do the students need to be safe from?
