I wonder if there are any strip clubs called Fat Girls (or maybe Phat Girlz?) I've been to a couple that should have been.

Angelfly, the thing that really makes me gag about the pink site is the gusy who keep telling all the girls how wonderful they are. I can handle the girls complaining all the time but some of the guys are too much. My experience has been similar to Shadowcat's, most of the regulars who post there don't want to hear any idssenting views which makes for very boring discussion.
Bones, the point I was trying to make is that a person's basic morality doesn't suddenly change by being put in a different environment. If a girl is basically an honest person, she isn't going to change because she gets a job stripping. The opposite is also true.

Chitown, I can relate to your being saved by biology theory. The older I've gotten, and I'm quite a bit older than you, the less sexual has been my attraction to strip clubs and strippers. I still enjoy looking at and touching a young pretty girl, but the most important aspect for me is their companionship. My OTC relationship with my ATF is all about companionship and friendship and isn't the least bit sexual. And I hope it always stays that way.

Yes, but Chandler that's just wrong, A girl's weight is her own business and no one else's. I mean can you imagine a manager of a professional ballet troup telling a fat girl to lose weight? How insensitive can you get?

Jerks like this have blinders on, they only see what they want to see. The article reminds me of a recent editorial in my local paper following the arrest of some hookers and their customers. The editorial argued that prostitution isn't a victimless crime, then pointed out all the bad things that often accompany it. But what they totally overlooked was that these bad things weren't the result of prostitution itself, they result from the fact that it's illegal and therefore by definition it's forced underground and controlled by criminals. Legalize it and regulate it the same as any other business and all those bad things disappear. Same is true with the strip club industry. Same is true for most illegal drugs too for that matter.

Clubber, I know exactly where you mean but I don't exactly remember the name either, although I think Green Parrot may be right. That's the place where I was shooting pool with my ATF when some guys tried to hit on her and she told them I was her sugar daddy. I never much liked Capt. Tony's - too dark and depressing. My favorite bar in KW is an outdoor place on the water that's called Schooner Warf - the guy who's always there during the day singing dirty songs is a riot.

Anglefly, I assumed DougS was referring to stripperweb.com aka the pink site (there's also a blue section for guys.) It's kinda amusing to read once in awhile but don't bother disagreeing with any of the outrageous comments that you read, it's a very politically correct site - which is what makes it amusing.
Bones, I have to disagree with you a little that dancers learn how to be dishonest from more experienced dancers. My guess is that the really dishonest ones have been that way all their lives, they earned it from their families at an early age and are no different outside the club than they are inside, they're just not very nice people.

Clubber, you're probably talking about the court house. There also used to be a strip club attached to Hog's Breath, you enter the club through the indoor bar area. It's probably still there. Too touristy but not bad. I think Hog's Breath is the best of the Duval tourist bars, they usually have the best music, so it won't be a wasted trip. And I believer it's close to where Teasers is now.
I don't know what was there before Pirate's Den, I visited the Den on my first trip to KW.

I have no interest either in attaching pejorative labels to strip club visits or trying to justify them. It is what it is. If you're comfortable with it, enjoy. If you aren't, go play golf or do something else instead.

Driver and Shadowcat, I'll probably only be able to go during the day. Is Bare Assets open early afternoon?
Clubber, seems to me that anything a couple blocks west of Pirate's Den would be under water. The police station is near the middle of Duval Street and one block east. I've been to a couple clubs on Duval Street, one of which is probably now Teasers, but they didn't have the same friendly atmosphere, they seemed more like tourist traps. There was also a newer strip club right next door and in the same building as the old Teasers, is that still there?

On my part it's mostly clothing - I love to take her shopping for clothes because she'll try on everything in sight and model it for me, which feels very intimate. I once bought her a bikini and that was especially fun, watching her model different ones. Last year I bought her some luggage for Christmas. She's very frugal so none of this costs very much.
You might also want to talk about what she gives you - my ATF is now a licensed massage therapist with her own business, and whenever I visit her she gives me free massages. She's really good at it. Last year she brought her table to the condo I was renting and gave me a massage on the balconey overlooking the beach. Wow.

I think we're talking about two different things here: (1) how do girls learn how to be sexy, and (2) how do they learn to be strippers. The first comes from society as a whole - eg. you can't watch TV or a movie for very long without seeing some girl acting sexy, it's everywhere and girls learn to copy it at an early age.
The second they learn from talking with and observing the other girls at work and seeing what's effective. There's a little bit of con artist in everyone, we all learned how to be manipulative as babies, the question is how far are they willing to go with it to earn a buck, and that's an individual decision, they all drew that line at different places.
Each girl has her own unique style and I think they're almost always better off to go with that rather than try to copy someone else. For example, my ATF is very much the tomboy and at first glance she isn't sexy at all. But she's very flirtatious and has a great smile, and the combination really works for her. But if someone else tried to copy her style it probably wouldn't work for them.

I've been to 2, one in Barcelona and one in San Juan, when I was in the navy. Both were very high class places with very attractive women, both were way out of my price range but nice places to have a drink - they were basically high-end cocktail lounges with rooms upstairs and the girls would sit with you when they weren't otherwise occupied. What's especilly funny is that after spending about 5 evenings at the one in San Juan, I later found out that it was off limits to navy personnel.

Driver, where do you recommend in Pasco County? I'm going to be down that way in a couple months and may have some free time.
Clubber, how's Teasers new location? I haven't been to KW since they moved. And has Pirate's Den ever reopened? Last time I was in town the sign was still there. Best club ever IMO - I wasn't rating clubs then but if I were PD would get the only 10 I've ever given, it's the place that I compare every other club to when assigning ratings.

I usually buy my ATF a new pair of good running shoes every year for her birthday (hey, that's what she wants.) And I also once bought her a good pair of sandals. And that's all she ever wears on her feet, running shoes or sandals (she lives a the beach.) Some of her sandals have slightly elevated heels, but I've never seen her in real heels. Smart girl.

I met my ATF the first week she started dancing, and not only wasn't she used to the tall shoes, she wasn't used to wearing any kind of heels. So it was pretty funny watching her stumble around in the dancer shoes. There wasn't anything sexy about it at all, it looked like a comedy act. Which is why she took them off whenever she could.

Evilcyn, my comments weren't directed at you. It sounds to me like you have your game just about right. The point I was trying to make is pretty much the same as Chandler's, I don't think strippers deserve all the blame when guys feel like they've been taken. Guys need to understand the rules if they're going to play.

None of the PA places that I know that have the highest contact sell alcohol. Seems like a fair trade-off to me. If I want to drink I go to a bar. If I want to play with strippers I go to a no-alcohol club, although many of them allow you to bring your own.

I prefer bare feet. My ATF always took her shoes off when she was with me. I always invite a stripper to do that, and many of them are happy to if it's allowed.

This all gets back to the discussion we've had before on honesty. Does anyone here really want a dancer to tell us what she thinks of us? We're paying her to get naked and rub herself all over us, and some of us are 30-40 years older than she is. What do you think she's going to think of us? Personally I want her to pretend she's interested in me, that she enjoys my company, that's what I'm paying for, that's why I'm there. And to me that's no more dishonest than an actor on stage playing his role.

I think my first SC experience was in Boston's Combat Zone - I was in the navy at the time and our ship was having some repairs done at the old Boston Navy Yard. That would have been in 1963. I don't recall being very impressed, the Zone was a pretty seedy place. And I don't think we did anything other than watch and drink beer.
The night I do recall well was my first time seeing a girl dance totally nude. It was maybe 3-4 years later, still in the 1960s, and I was on my first business trip to Montreal. It was a tiny neighborhood bar with just one dancer in the corner, and she was very young and very cute, a real girl-next-door type, didn't look like a dancer at all. She'd dance naked on a small stage for a while, then get dressed and sit with some friends, then she'd take her clothes off and get back on stage etc. There was no strip tease or anything, she just danced naked on a tiny brightly lit stage. I sat there for hours mesmerized by her. Later I discovered that nude dancing was pretty common in Montreal. I used to look for reasons to go there.

DougS, the first thing you need to realize is that the girls who post on that other site are a very small select group who are not typical of strippers in general. If you read their posts you'll discover that most of them work in very upscale clubs and have been at it a long time. Many of them are career strippers and many of them despise men. Many of the girls we're likely to meet in the smaller downscale clubs that we all seem to prefer aren't like that for the most part.
But having said that, the one thing they all have in common is that this is their job, they're doing it to make money. And it makes no difference whether they like you or not, it's mostly about money. Never forget that. Some of them become con artists but thankfully the majority do not. But even the more honest ones will put on an act for you, they assume that's why you're there, that you know it's a game and that you understand how the game is played.
So where do the new girls learn? They learn from each other, they see what works and do more of it.

NJ_pete, I have gone to Club Risque for mileage, I've had some pretty good mileage there. In fact it's a lot higher than a lot of clubs that I know and it's just about the level that I prefer. But I guess it depends on your definition of high mileage.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life
I learned what a bong was from my ATF, she even demonstrated it for me once. I also learned a lot of other drug terminology. She thought it was funny that I didn't know any of that stuff. I also learned a lot about the internal workings of the criminal justice system. In turn I taught her all about wine. And about the benefits of staying out of trouble.

As we all know, there are two types of "regular" - being a regular at a specific club, which is what Chitown described above, and being a regular of a specific girl. You can be either one without being the other, although it's probably more common to be both.
I define being the regular of a girl as getting to the point where she treats you like a "club buddy" rather than a customer, eg. when you're there she spends most of her free time with you - she'll go off and dance for other guys to earn money, but when she isn't busy doing that she sits with you. And you proabaly talk to each other via phone or email fairly regularly.
