Say yes to the sex industry!
    Is this the Democrats Endgame?
If I had a kid that was thinking about going into social work, I would definitely advise him not to do it if he or she is going to be in a place where they replace a cop. Most of the people they would meet in that situation are not going to stop whatever bad thing they are doing and hold your hand while you both sing "Cumbaya". There are seriously bad people cops encounter on a daily basis. Most of us here would never understand this. Cops I know personally can be arrogant pricks. I'm not sure they were born that way but became that way from the people they encounter at work. But, for the most part, they are looking to help the general population.

@doc. Sorry for the loss of your cat. I was home alone for 2 months as well. I just missed doing what I do very well and being useful. I still got paid but I spent a lot more time sleeping than I normally do because of a lack of stimulation and motivation.

I would think that all black lives matter but people of color in Chicago are getting killed at record numbers every week and, for the most part, they don't matter. It was sad to see a father killed while holding his daughter's hand in NY this week. A world where criminals run free is not good. https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/breaking/ct-chicago-homicides-data-tracker-htmlstory.html

I've never thought about gun ownership but, with this lunacy going on, I am probably going to get a gun. I've talked to over half a dozen people recently that are like me. I guess we live is such a shitty place that we need anarchy to change the entire American way of life as it has been known. I don't think the country has ever felt that things were perfect but the radical changes that are being discussed are scary.

Sounds like he's on his Midwest tour and this really put a damper on it. I can only say that there isn't a man alive that didn't let his little head make a wrong decision for him. It's happened to all of us at some point.

    OT: Agree or not ?
I tipped every girl on stage $10 on the first trip back to my favorite club. I tipped more with girls that I liked. Gave more than 50% to the bartender and handed the one server a $20. Hell, i even gave the bouncer a $20 because he is the roommate of a friend. I did this because they went through a much tougher time than I did and I hadn't spent any money at all on anything but essentials. I plan to tip extra for a while but probably not as much eventually. I always tip more than 20% at places I frequent regularly and know the staff a bit more. I might not be spending much again soon because states I frequent and where I live is starting to shut down for a while again.

I'm not sure the defund police political platform is going to sell well to most average people who are right or left leaning in their political beliefs. If crime rates keep spiking its not going to sit well with people.

@Cash. It sounds like you and I had a similar experience with our fathers. I'm sorry for your loss. My dad passed from congestive heart failure as well about a month after getting diagnosed. He too went into hospice and I had the ability to help him die at home. The one thing I remember is that hospice nurses and staff can be some of the most compassionate people I have ever met. They guided us though what was happening and helped as much as needed. Those people are literally saints. Glad you seem to be well so soon.

People of color experiences at strip clubs
@alec You seem to see the world like I do. I'm not black nor am I anglo. However, I never look at the world in terms of race. If I don't get attention at a strip club it's because I show that I don't want it in my actions. A club I go to several times a year, Shotgun Willies in Denver, is one where I usually go to have a couple of beers in the presence of half naked girls. That is all I want. I usually walk there from my hotel to kill an hour or so before dinner. I rarely get approached there because of the attitude I walk in with. I'm good with that.

    Las Vegas Update
Not from a monger standpoint but from a gambling standpoint, the video poker machines seemed to be more liberal when I was there a month ago. I was talking to a friend sending her pictures of the "new Vegas" when she told me that form a dealer friend she knows. I believed her because I spent over an hour on $20 at a video poker machine. I was either going for a Royal or lose out after a while because I had to pee after a few beers. Don't know if it's still like that but going back in about 3 weeks for work.

    Last day before closing
Sorry. I haven't read a review on this site for many years so didn't see how the style of the reviews was until this was published. The last time I got a dance from my retired favorite here, the cost of a dance was $20 in a fairly wide open "VIP" area in the corner near a bathroom. With one dancer that had a Chucky Doll haircut, I didn't inquire to see if the price had changed. I spent the time catching up with an old friend and checking out the bartenders assets.

I don't understand why things are getting worse in Democratic run cities where Mayors are kowtowing to the demands of the mob. In Seattle, they are attacking the Mayor's neighborhood. In NYC, where $1 billion was sent to social service programs from the police budget, they are attacking the city offices. I wonder if these politicians are regretting giving these wacky people and inch since it seems like they want a mile?

I should have said it was an ice coffee for a girl. It can be frowned upon to bring any type of beverage into a bar because they don't know if it has alcohol in it.

Some of the heavy tipping might depend on what I guy has budgeted for the night. I ran into Darryl Strawberry at club in San Diego once and he was in his party days. I think he had more than enough money to make $100 in singles rain on numerous strippers if he chose to do that. I have a club I go into frequently and when I first started going there I noticed that some girls would get bitchy with girls I paid attention to. I chose to do a Charlie Sheen type thing and pay them a few bucks when they are on stage so that they would "go away". Of course I didn't have to do that but sometimes a few bucks a trip to make people stay away is the most peaceful way to go. At this point, I don't have to do it as they all understand who I like but a few bucks for peace is easy. One of them actually stood up for me when I brought a drink into the club and there was a new bouncer.

    Flying on a Commercial Airplane
Almost every American flight I've been on in the past 6 or 7 weeks has been running over 80% capacity anyway. I'm not sure how much safer you are having one seat or an aisle between you and the next passenger anyway. People have been pretty good about wearing their masks during flight. American has been giving out a bag with water, a snack and a disinfecting wipe on flights over 2 hours. Southwest walks the aisle and hands out a snack and a can of water on every flight. While I think flying might not be as safe as staying home, I don't freak out over it. Would I fly now if I didn't need to for may job? Maybe not, but not because I'm afraid of the virus. It's just kind of a pain in the ass now with a lot of stuff closed in airports and dealing with finding restaurants that are open in any place I travel. If flying was a super spreader, flight crews all over the place would have caught this all over the country.

If I were you I would either go for a hooker that is hanging at the bar or look on one of the escort review sites and shop. You say you don't want full service but I'm sure a woman that does this will be happy to take your money and oblige to your wishes. The Cosmopolitan, about a year or two ago, was where I saw a lot of these ladies sitting at the bar. The good ones tip the bartenders so they don't get run out by security. I even had one trying to sell me by saying to the bartender. "tell him I'm good". I've also seen them around the Tropicana. If you have any radar they are easy to spot. If you hang by yourself for a while, they will come up to you and be the friendliest girl you've ever met in Vegas. Don't use any of those damn flyers you get on the street. An escort review site that was shutdown in the US came back on a few months ago. It might be worth the investment to become a member and read reviews. You will also see pricing. Just remember. Everyone in Vegas is looking for the easiest way to separate you from your money. If you go in aware of this, you can still have fun but always keep your radar on for a ripoff.

I never went to a brothel near Vegas but did go to the Mustang Ranch near Reno many years ago. The trick I learned at a brothel is to not pick a girl from the lineup when you walk in the door getting a high pressure sale for the girls that aren't busy. Tell them you want to go to the bar and have a drink first. While you are at the bar, you will see a far better selection than the greeting girls who are never busy. Also, never order off the menu they show you. Bargain. They will bitch about it but you will get a more normal price.

I was there the first week it opened so it may not be what it is now. When I was there, the only people wearing masks were the people afraid of Corona and the staff at each location. I didn't partake in the activities you are looking for because that wasn't available. I did read that masks are now required in most places in Vegas now. If strip clubs and brothels haven't opened yet, it may be a while until the open with spiking cases.

Do you really have to leave or do you guys run out of money?
I don't usually run out of money but as others have said, I run out of money for that night and the particular girls that are there. That's not to say that I haven't been around in a club late after a long day/night of drinking and tried something I wouldn't normally try. I have found some hidden gems this way. Some I will repeat with some other night and some I go back to again.
