Heading to vegas

I was there the first week it opened so it may not be what it is now. When I was there, the only people wearing masks were the people afraid of Corona and the staff at each location. I didn't partake in the activities you are looking for because that wasn't available. I did read that masks are now required in most places in Vegas now. If strip clubs and brothels haven't opened yet, it may be a while until the open with spiking cases.

my biggest mistake after I separated from my wife was vegas. It was fun... but so damned expensive. I was addicted for four years and it wiped out my savings (along with my bad investments). definitely an expensive learning curve.

There is no high mileage in Vegas and the brothels are expensive and not worth it. Come to Vegas for any reason other than sex and you can probably have a good time.

I hear the the Sunday Sterling Brunch buffet at Bally's is something worth trying, if you are willing to spend $95 for one meal.

Casino is one of my favorite movies. Seems Vegas is only great if you're looking to work there or if it's your intention to spend a boat load in a short amount of time.
I'd still like to visit at least once.

Clubs and brothels closed for the foreseeable future, masks now required everywhere. Escorts are among the costliest in the country, and casinos are basically ghost towns. Us locals are likely looking at state taxes in the future that will rival California.

Just to be clear, the strip clubs in Vegas stink and Vegas does not have legal brothels. I love going to Vegas and there is much sex to be had, but going to a club is not the way to find it.

For me Vegas is a fun city for everything except mongering, as the strip clubs are too expensive and have too many rules and the brothels are vastly underwhelming.

Speaking of the brothels, I remember tears ago there was a reality series about one of the brothels and I remember thinking there was no way I was going to pay the exhorbant prices for those girls.

As some Vegas TUSCLers have mentioned in other discussions there is plenty of fun for a decent price but you need to know where to look because the obvious spots are definitely tourist traps.

I never went to a brothel near Vegas but did go to the Mustang Ranch near Reno many years ago. The trick I learned at a brothel is to not pick a girl from the lineup when you walk in the door getting a high pressure sale for the girls that aren't busy. Tell them you want to go to the bar and have a drink first.

While you are at the bar, you will see a far better selection than the greeting girls who are never busy. Also, never order off the menu they show you. Bargain. They will bitch about it but you will get a more normal price.

It was probably "Cathouse" - I think it was on HBO and it was about the Moonlight Bunny Ranch owned by Dennis Hof.

If I were you I would either go for a hooker that is hanging at the bar or look on one of the escort review sites and shop. You say you don't want full service but I'm sure a woman that does this will be happy to take your money and oblige to your wishes.

The Cosmopolitan, about a year or two ago, was where I saw a lot of these ladies sitting at the bar. The good ones tip the bartenders so they don't get run out by security. I even had one trying to sell me by saying to the bartender. "tell him I'm good".

I've also seen them around the Tropicana. If you have any radar they are easy to spot. If you hang by yourself for a while, they will come up to you and be the friendliest girl you've ever met in Vegas.

Don't use any of those damn flyers you get on the street. An escort review site that was shutdown in the US came back on a few months ago. It might be worth the investment to become a member and read reviews. You will also see pricing.

Just remember. Everyone in Vegas is looking for the easiest way to separate you from your money. If you go in aware of this, you can still have fun but always keep your radar on for a ripoff.

As for the OP who knows what the situation will be when you touch down at McCarran. I hope you do share what your experience was so I can see if I was smart to cancel my yearly Vegas trip or if I missed out. I've been going at the same time every year since 2012 and this will be the first year I haven't gone and it's all due to this fucking pandemic.

Yes, @desertscrub is one cranky bastard who you would think would be more relaxed considering the amount of raíl he claims to be hitting.

However, I take responsibility for his assholiness towards @papi_chulo because of my typo "tears" when it should have been "years".

@papi_chulo it was "Cathouse" and I thought it was a lousy portrayal of the brothel, I would never want to visit even if they paid me to go.
