Las Vegas Update

Icey
I put your ATF on a winning team
Chicas Bonitas and Palomino Club opened as bikini bars. There is no dancing and no syripping going on wink wink. There are however many waitresses who serve drinks and give you socially distanced company in the main room or an area with more privacy which you pay for.

Basically theyre skirting the law. Lets see how long it lasts.

Vegas sucks now. Prices are outrageous given theres nothing to do but eat gamble or enjoy empty malls

SA Vegas is probably prime time for $300-400 hookups with dancers.

SA in smaller cities blows right now. Bad. So many scammers “I am socially distancing and won’t meet right now, but can you send me money?”. Who the fuck does that work on

Not from a monger standpoint but from a gambling standpoint, the video poker machines seemed to be more liberal when I was there a month ago. I was talking to a friend sending her pictures of the "new Vegas" when she told me that form a dealer friend she knows.

I believed her because I spent over an hour on $20 at a video poker machine. I was either going for a Royal or lose out after a while because I had to pee after a few beers.

Don't know if it's still like that but going back in about 3 weeks for work.

You'd be surprised - all kinds of spineless low-self-esteem dudes out there

"SA Vegas is probably prime time for $300-400 hookups with dancers."

no doubt... I would love to ask all those snots in the clubs over the years that would turn me down when I'd ask for $200 worth of lapdances in one shot how they're doing now.

^ you must be talking about the f#$ing Vegas Rhino, home of the ‘I don’t dance on the main floor’’ gals.

    Absolutely pistola.

My favorite memory of that is a group of 10 guys I was walking in wanted lap dances. I go over and ask 2 dancers “hey I’d like to buy some dances for my buddies over there” and they said “we only do VIP.” Well 2 hours later and buying dances by what seemed like 50% of the girls in the entire club, while those 2 stood by the wall the entire time, while leaving I stopped by and asked if they’re making a lot of money tonight?

If you present yourself as a tourist in Vegas youre an easy mark and if youre going for the hardened pros you'll get used. But ive picked up q lot of strippers in vegas. It's not that hard.

My problem with vegas right now is the high pricea for everything when ghe city doesn't offer much unless you gamble. Which I don't. The wanton lack of concern for public safety ia disheartening too.

Bars closing tonight at 11:59 pm. I think casinos have to be next. Theyre basically cruise ships on land.

So far the news is that bars including tnose with slots at the bar are closing.

Clubs never opened. Except for the palomino and chicas that had a run as bikini bars.

A casino can be open but the bar area closed. Like un a restaurant but it looks like casinos can stay open and thats causing controversy given infected employees and lack of safety for workers.

    But here's what happened.

It doesn't make sense. I think the casinos weild too much power in the state and thats the real reason they can stay open for now. I read that by the state's measurements they should have shut down June 24. Then there was the 4th of July money grab. I think now its just a matter of time before they shut down again.

But a lot of regulations seem arbitrary. Like why you can have a DJ by a pool but not in a bar. Or why a restaurant serving alcohol can do so. But a bar serving food can only have curbside pickup for food only. I'm for safety regulations but they need to be equitable.

I literally just booked a flight to
Vegas a few hours ago. However it’s not until August 13. As long as the sports books are open, I should be good. I need to place some wagers . Especially with nba playoffs coming and nfl season starting in September (hopefully). Them Vegas chicks are too expensive anyway

Who knows if it will be open then. I've been in Vegas for a while now and it's not looking good.

Vegas hoes can't charge much nowadays but yhe quality is down. The semi pros that would come from California aren't here.

Its the bottom of the desperate barrel now

I just bought a ticket for mid-August too! No, strippers, no drinking, no gambling?? No go then ☹️ Corona is making Vegas irrelevant. 4 plus months of locking down and no vice for me, 😢

Casinos probably won't close until death rates really increase. You can still drink and gamble in them. You just probably won't have any stripclubs open for a while.

But there are casinos in a lot of places. Right now short of gambling Vegas doesn't have anything to offer and that will hurt a lot.

Even the malls are shuttered for the most part. Whats open is poorly stocked and they offer to order things online for people. One doesn't need to come to Vegas for that.

Vegas is about being an escape. An adult theme park thats over the top. Nice bars. Clubs. World class djs. Hookers. Strip Clubs. Gluttonous buffets. Its the appeal of excess.

I've explored a little and it's dead. Hotel employees are sent home early. Lots of rumors of a shut down coming. Layoffs. Already looming at non union properties. The Cosmopolitan is union and may lay off all 3100 employees.

You walk through a casino now and your only options are to walk through it or sit at a slot machine or play a table game and drink.

Fremont Street gets crowds. But you see a lot of families with small kids. I saw a little girl playing in a puddle of urine by a sleeping homeless person while the parents were just standing there drinking out of a flask. Security didn't say a thing. Vegas is scraping the bottom of the barrel

I've made 2 trips to a casino since they reopened and if things don't get back to what they used to be I can be done. Same with pretty much everything else. Luckily my non-extras club is still no-mask, full-contact, but when that changes, done with clubs too. I could actually be done with vacation too, simply because the "new normal" will suck and I have probably been on vacation 140 times in the last 30 years, not counting 3 day weekends and weekends away hiking, skiing etc.

All the stuff Icey is saying is exactly why I canceled my annual trip there. I usually go every year the first week of August...I bought my Southwest tickets way back in April and ended up cancelling once I heard about all the shutdowns. I had a feeling it would last all the way through summer.

Shitty times right now. What I wouldn't give to have 2019 times right about now.

I actually miss downtown Vegas. I miss staying up and playing poker at the golden nugget. I miss trying to unsuccessfully fall asleep afterwards. I miss walking to the Fremont and getting Dunkins for the Wife and I. I miss Italian food at the "D" and pizza just outside downtown. Have not been to Vegas since the Patriots won the super bowl in February 2019. That is the longest I have gone without going since 1984 and it looks like I won't be going back as our governments follow the 1984 playbook.

Im glad my observations are of some help.

Vegas has an increase in underground scenes now. Raves. Car shows. Strip clubs. But the stripper parties are q rip off.

But as far as just tourism goes theres not much

Tbh Vegas would be better off shut down. Its easier to recover from a shutdown than it is from a reputation of being unsafe.

vegas covid19 cases hover around 1k a day. Lawsuits against the casinos. Talk of making businesses immune to covid19 liability....

Its a ghost town during the week and the weekends bring out the lowest denominator.

Lots of people wandering drunk with baby strollers in hand.

Hoe wise. Lots of hoes are out. Not the best quality. Lots of boyfriend pimps out. Near the Orleans and also on Fremont

Restaurant quality has gone to hell

When aren’t the pimps out by the Orleans and on Fremont? You forgot to mention the daily weekly by Trop and Valley View. Sounds like nothing has changed.

When it reopened hotel/casino workers worked 3 or 4 days a week. Now they're lucky to be called in one or 2 days.

The tourist numbers just aren't there. And the ones coming are the bottom of the barrel and budget tourists.

Lots of businesses are closing. There are less restaurants open than during the shutdown.

Prices are going up. Rampant price gouging. Next month moratoriums on residential evictions and utility bills ends. No enhanced unemployment coming in when the unemployment rate is over 20%.

    Violent crime on the rise.

With bars reopening on Monday the palomino club and chicas bonitas are set to reopen as bikini clubs. It didn't go well for them the first time they tried it though.

And its interesting to see how these clubs will do. They can open as bikini bars since they're technically in North las Vegas
