Superbowl kicks off at 6:30 p.m.ET, Who will win KC VS Tampa
On the other hand, KC's lack of depth in the offensive line is killing them and TB probably would have won without the help from the refs. You just hate to see the refs play such an important role in a championship game. The term "Let'em play" doesn't seem to be part of this game.

I'm not a fan of either team and don't care about the outcome. However, I do think the refs were making a lot more contact calls on the KC DB's than you would normally see in a championship game. It seems that these calls are going to be a big part of the outcome.

I think you meant John Lynch. I was like who the hell is Tom Lynch! At least the football hall of fame doesn't seem to be as much of a popularity contest as the MLB hall of fame.

    Hotel Chains You Prefer
I've stayed in enough Hilton Properties to be a lifetime Diamond member for a few years now. In that group of hotels, Embassy Suites tend to be older but the breakfast and happy hour features were nice pre-pandemic. Also stay in a lot or Marriott properties and working on my lifetime Platinum there. How nice most are depends on the owner of the individual property. I stay in so many that I usually remember my hotel by location as much as room number. The one thing I always do is figure out which direction the bathroom is from the bed to pee in the middle of the night in the dark. I've woken up at home a few times thinking to myself, which way is the bathroom.

Will there be any stripclubs or dancers when this is over?
San Diego had a lot of clubs close due to over reaching Vice cops about 15 years ago. Vice got the 6' rule implemented. They also sent heroes into clubs to get dances and arrest girls that violated the rules. To the clubs, they went after their liquor license.

The club is pretty upscale but the area can get slightly sketchy late at night. It's located across the street from 2001 and a few doors down from Mons.

I guess now I know why the bartender thought I was crazy when I told her I was walking back to the Courtyard a little less than a mile away.

    Flying
Southwest stopped blocking the middle seat at the end of 2020 but I think I've only had to sit in a full row on one of dozens of flights so far. I don't usually fly Delta but I believe they are still blocking the middle seat. I've seen some eerily empty airports over the past year. Doesn't seem that flying is a big spreading event because the likes of CNN would love to report travel horror stories to scare the general public in to compliance with local or statewide lockdowns. You also don't hear stories of lots of covid spreading among flight crews.

The only month I didn't fly was April 2020. Otherwise, regularly on a plane. Most flights aren't full but American seems to pack their flights the most.

You guys feel safe during lap dances?
Everyone has to decide what is best for them. Anything I, or anyone else says, shouldn't influence what you feel safe about. That being said, for work, I flew over 75 segments and was in a hotel about the same amount of nights. I was also working in, and around, Covid units in hospitals. I don't think I'm bullet proof but I also think, as docsavage pointed out, this pandemic is a bit overblown. Hospitals can make more money by classifying patients as Covid patients. The one thing I've learned is that the current state of medicine is profit oriented. I saw it first hand with family members being given unnecessary tests to run up their Medicare bill in their final stages of life. Almost every frontline healthcare worker is in it for good reasons but they get pressured by administration for numbers. Kind of like any corporate job. I never stopped going to clubs and getting dances. I've enjoyed some of the best times of my life in clubs because there are not as many customers in most places. Do what you feel good about.

Was just thinking, if someone from a city that loses today booked a room, those rooms will open up in the next day maybe. I already made alternate plans but worth looking at if you want to experience a limited superbowl experience.

The traveling team isn't allowed to come in until 2 days before the game. No hype week live. It will all be remote. I was thinking of making a mongering trip that weekend since I live in a locked down state. However, all the hotel rooms are booked. I guess it's for media since the crowd will be limited to 25%.

Why would anyone pay for full service in a strip club?
I've done both a lot over the years. A lot of points made about both are spot on. The only one I thought was not so spot on was the mystery of who shows up at the door if you do your homework. Maybe, back in the day of searching for escorts in the yellow pages or adult personal ads in the newspaper there was mystery in who would show up but not in the age of the internet. That is, again, if you do your homework. There are also some reliable review sites that have been around for years that you can learn how to use them and be assured of what you are going to get. That being said, the "Me-Too" movement killed a lot of the escort review and ad sites and that got set back a lot. Each adventure has it's pluses and minuses but they are both fun. I've been sticking with strip clubs for a few years but don't see anything wrong with either.

"Hank Aaron, baseball great who became voice for civil rights, dies at 86"
Hank was one of those players that seemed like living legends when I was growing up. Don't think I ever saw him play in person but saw him on TV as a kid. The funny thing is that with all the science involved in the game today, the current stars are probably bigger and stronger, but they don't seem as legendary to me. I enjoy baseball today but the stars don't seem to hold the same mystique as players from the past. Maybe because you only saw the old players once in a while and now social media has them out there all the time. I was glad to be able to see Mays, McCovey, Gaylord Perry, Harmon Killebrew, Frank Robinson and many more in person. I guess getting older played a part in understanding the players are just human instead of living gods.

Should the strip club shutdowns end?
Should California open? Well, since it seems shutting down doesn't control the virus it seems CA should stop punishing small business. Will it happen? Not as long as Gavin Newsome is in charge. He is facing a recall election as 1 million signatures have been gathered of 1.5 million needed by March. People tend to get passed when you tell them to stay home and violate your own rules at the ultra expensive French Laundry restaurant. Covid numbers in the state are the worst they've been during the entire pandemic but Newsome insists he has science on his side to justify the lockdown. It just doesn't make sense since we are in the 5th week of our 3rd or 4th lockdown of restaurants and bars. This last closure is going to be the end of lot of small businesses.
