Exchanging numbers led to something funny just yesterday. My instagram account said one of my contacts had just created an instagram account. Not sure how this happened since I created my account with a random email without linking it to my phone number.
Anyway, I had no idea who the girl was by looking at her pictures. She was using her account to announce when she would be at her club, a club I've never been to. She wasn't ugly but her pictures made me wonder why I would even take her number in the first place.
Girls need to remember not to tie their phone numbers to instagram accounts that might show their real name. I've accidentally found out a dancer's real name more than once simply by having an instagram account and their phone number.

I carry two phones. One that is work related and one that is personal. I don't mind giving my number or taking a number. I will tell a girl that I am going to be in town and in the club but I don't really make appointments.
Being a mostly daytime club guy these days, I don't always know when I can break away from work. Even when I think the coast is clear, I will get calls I have to take.
Therefore, I catch girls when I can and will give ones I like a ballpark idea when I will be in.
I once told a current "semi-favorite" that we match up well because we want to hang out but don't get pissed off at each other when it doesn't work out.

@Muddy. I made it through about half of the documentary and the fact that only 18 of 100 crimes were prosecuted was scary. What was even scarier is that this documentary was probably shot 4 to 5 years ago. It is even worse now.
Obviously, letting the inmates run the asylum is not the answer.

To be honest, it's at the top of the list of places I'd rather not go to. That being said, I used to like SF and Portland but those places are no longer fun to visit.

@Papi. My first dances cost $5 per song. At least where I can remember partaking a lot. That was in the early 90's in San Diego. There are still $10 floor dances in Phoenix today.

Hitting the same milestone this month as well. My friends are making a bigger deal about it than I am. Going to do a short 2 day mongering trip after the 4th and come back and celebrate with friends at the beach right after that.
I look at it that I am getting closer to the freedom the comes with retirement. Not going to pull the trigger on that in this economy but probably will after the next election cycle.

I've had dinner with a dancer more than once at clubs in Tampa. Even made it a pre-dance playtime by feeding each other a couple of times. So, I guess I don't mind. Girls gotta eat right?

My oldest brother was more than 10 years older than me. Altamont happened near my hometown and my brother spent some time partying with some guys in the club so he was there when Altamont happened. My bother passed a few years ago but he took stories about the club to his grave without revealing some things he knew about the murder of one of his HA friends. He didn't make the best decisions early in his life but turned it around 30 years before he passed.

What was the topic again? Most of the people that participate in discussions have been going to strip clubs for years and have their own way of making a visit to the local club work for them. They don't come here for advice on how to do it. On the other hand, there are tons of lurkers out there that may not be at the same level and get suggestions from on topic threads. I guess there is something for everyone.

I know of one guy who is a regular at a club that I go to a couple of times a month. He always has dancers sitting with him drinking and all the other staff seems to like him. He doesn't carry himself like he's too cool for school so most people, including other customers, seem to like him as well.
I've rarely see him get dances but he does buy drinks and hang out with the girls. On a several occasions, I have seen him FRMO with dancers and the staff just laughs and shakes their head like "there he goes again". He's the exception and not the rule though.

I have to amend my statement and clarify the case for multiple streams of income. I have one source that I allocate 100 percent to strip clubs and usually don't spend it all each month so it builds up. I have a little over $1K that is totally for fun but it's a separate stream of income.

Cumbaya! We are lucky to live in a country where hard work can lead you to a good life. My parents were born in homes with dirt floors and died with two paid off homes and a decent bank account.
They didn't look for handouts but relied on their own hard work. Thankfully, they taught me the same values.

@Heaving. I,personally, would not make any decisions based on having free 3G data. Most, if not all, 3G networks are getting shut down to repurpose those frequencies for 5G. There are not that many 3G phones still running that makes it sense for carriers to keep frequencies for 3G.

In my lifetime, I can't recall a virus that was as closely monitored as this one. That being said, I also can't remember a virus that has mutated as fast as this one.
I would almost rather have it that man has contributed to this one than know viruses have become so potentially deadly on their own in nature. Even AIDS doesn't seem as big of a death sentence with the advances in medicine.

I think Fauci is a smart and hard working professional. I've worked around doctors for almost 40 years. The best ones I have met have intelligence but also a bedside manner that is expressed in humility. The best ones don't dictate care to you but use humility to gain you as a partner in the best way to proceed.
In my eyes, Fauci is one of those smart guys that looks down on those he is caring for and issues mandates for you to do what he says is right or face the consequences. While he may be right at times, that is no way to gain agreement from anyone. On top of that, he is a bureaucrat first and medical professional second. He was the one that said that masks weren't necessary when they were in limited supply when this all started. He puts other things above medical advice.
His lack of humility is what caused some to dislike him rather than his expertise. If he would have admitted to a mistake just once, he would have been better served. Nobody is perfect, as humans we don't expect that. It's when you issue orders that are my way or the highway that you lose popularity.
Covid was very serious. I saw that with my own eyes in my travels. Fauci lost people in his bedside manner more than anything.
