I don't understand all of the "or" questions. I like both. Which I prefer depends on many factors.
OTC has serious advantages without any of the other side activities.
ITC we need to rush. OTC we don't.
OTC - easier to clean up before and after. I like to have us both brush our teeth before we get down to fun.
OTC- typically involves a room so many more positions and activities are possible. - try a threesome or missionary in a lap dance booth.
OTC- no issues with bouncers or other customers walking in
OTC- It goes as long as it goes.
ITC - there are times I want to satisfy an itch but time is critical.

Papi, you are not wrong. He could find high quality ladies for 500 or less in NJ and even NYC outside of manhattan. He will also find ladies no where near as attractive asking and getting 1000 or more. I gave up figuring it out years ago.

I know several women that get rates over 700 for an evening. There is always a RIL convinced he will win her over if she just spends a few nights with him. He will pay anything to make that happen.
"WIW, for a PL I'm supposedly reasonably young and attractive,..." if you think like this, you have the wrong mindset for this hobby.
The time to have negotiated a better rate has passed. You lack credibility as a recurring customer because you haven't been one. Why should she take a chance on you if you have only had two sessions?
My advice is to find someone else. Save this lady for special occasions. or better, drop her. Some of your comments make me think you are getting close to RIL. keep in mind that in another year or two, she isn't likely to be the 10 she is today.
Are you under paying or overpaying? IMO, only you can answer that. Do you think she is worth it? Could you do better on price and still hook up with young hotties? yes, I and other son here do it often.

I did computer repair work up and down the east coast years ago and short stay hotels were a god send. Many times I needed to catch a few hours of sleep and shower before I got back behind the wheel.
Most any motel with the truckers welcome sign had short stay options.

I will assume you aren't a troll. Hopefully others will learn from your mistakes. It would be good if you did but I don't hold much hope for that. Maybe someday I will understand why guys ask for advice, leaving out many details and then ignore the advice we give.
Your first mistake and the one all others flow from is not having a clear understanding of what this outing was. Did she consider it a date? A P2P? Two friends or perhaps just a who knows, let's see where this goes? She owes you nothing, not even a reply.
You think it was a great night shared by two awesome people but maybe she thinks it sucked.
Why did you stay the night if she was so drunk? Take her shoes off, put her on her couch, put a waste basket near by and GTFO. Doing this would paint you as a good guy without her having to wake up and find you there.

I would not be surprised if the door guy has been informed to keep him out or at least watch him closely if he comes in.
The next time you want to send a text like that, dont. Always wait a day to write anything like that. A full day, not the next morning. Then sleep on it. Sending a text a day or two late is easier to fix than that mess
