USG is very valuable in searching for current intel on escorts, AMP's, streetwalkers, etc. And it's free. I have gotten (and shared) tons of intel on that site, primarily about AMP's and SC's. It won't replace BP but I doubt that anything can, at least right away.

You have to remember that this site is dedicated solely to SC's while USG has categories covering most every type of mongering activity. Yes their SC sections can't compare to TUSCL, but for those of us who also explore other realms of mongering, USG is awesome.

Clubs in LA/OC run the gamut of prices, extras and tip expectations. The best I've seen is the Thursday Specials wars between Synn and the SR in COI. Synn offers a 15min VIP for $75 (usually $105) and the Rhino offers 30min curtained VIP for $100. Bargains both. Plenty of mileage available at both clubs, altho the dancers at SR tend to suffer from GPS so they quote some crazy prices. On the other end of the spectrum is Skin, a Westside club, where a 30min VIP can set you back $600+. AND they have the nerve to clip the songs too! And one of my fave clubs, Bare Elegance, also has a pretty expensive Skybox option if you go for a 30/45min VIP.

^^Lots of people apparently agree to it, especially the ones that either have no references at all or who have been burned in the past from BackPage ROB's and agree to get screened.

@grand1511- lots of LGBT people, especially young ones, identify as queer. A big part of it is taking back a derisive word and making it our own, therefore stripping away the stigma and negativity associated with the word, at least when used within the community.

@SJG- what local law enforcement chooses to pursue is the biggest factor. Plenty of clubs are UUHM, especially in certain areas here in LA county. What goes on in the back rooms is well known yet it continues unabated. Why? Local LE is either paid off or chooses to look the other way. Same with any overtly illegal sexual contact in clubs, including girl/girl stuff.

@SJG- I am not incorrect. Although true lesbian acts on stage at a stripclub are not as overtly illegal as girl/boy stuff, it is still illegal and would be grounds for legal action and a possible shutting down of the club. The fact that it is simulated is the difference. Technically there could be simulated hetero stuff done onstage that would also be legal, but that is beyond rare to see at a club.
