Favorite song in strip club?

Avatar for TomJones2

For me it’s “last dance with Mary Jane” by Tom Petty. My favorite club being Hip Hugger in Indiana, this song just seems to fit so well there. 2nd favorite song to hear in the SC would be “crazy bitch” by Buckcherry.

The one the DJ plays long because he saw that I just went back for a lapdance with a CF.

I grew up in the 80s and not into current music too much but being into ebony dancers I do like seeing them dance/twerk to hip-hop.

I kinda like "I'm a boss" by Meek Mill, I like the beat - a while back I was at my go-to small black club on a late afternoon visit and the DJ played "I'm a boss" and the ebonics went crazy all dancing on the floor naked even the ones that were not giving dances which was most of them.

@jackslash, I love that song, too. I also like Crazy Bitch by Buckcherry; Bad Girlfriend by Theory of a Deadman; Shaking Hands by Nickelback; and My Girlfriend is a Dancer by Dan Diamond. Some of these songs were popular in titty bars when I was first getting back into clubbing after a long hiatus, circa 2008-2011. I hear them now and they really take me back.

Don't Cha by Pussycat Dolls because of the way my ex-fav danced to it.

Other than that mostly older rock:

Barracuda by Heart

Rock you like a Hurricane by the Scorpions

Cherry Pie by Warrant

Cum on feel the noise by Quiet Riot

mdfmk888: that reminds me of the time I was doing otc with my atf from Sirens and girls, girls, girls came on the radio. We both started laughing and she yelled "It's Uptime". I tried to ask her if that meant I got a 2 for 1 deal on our otc fun but she shut me down by saying "only if we follow all the house rules so no sucking or fucking."

They're nothing to dance to but Stairway to Heaven and Freebird would be an economical 2 for 1 special.

About 15-17 years ago I head for the lap dance area at the IR and the dj plays Eric Clapton's "little wing", all 6:20 of it as one song. Lap dances at the time were $6.00. I actually felt bad for the dancer.

Doors, Light My Fire. You used to hear it a lot at clubs in the late 70s to mid-80s. Very, very rarely now. The album version is about 7 minutes long. Never heard that though, only the 3 min single version.

Most songs these days are over 3-minutes it's just that the clubs/DJs decide to cut them at a certain point

There were a few songs that seemed to play in clubs in NJ in the 90’s - Rhythm is a Dancer (I think it was by Snap?) - a C&C Music Factory song about sweating? - This is How We Do It (Montel Jordan). Not real faves - but they remind me of clubs.

I watched a girl dance to The Beautiful People (Marilyn Manson) and it was memorable. Also, Cowboy (Kid Rock) was fun.

I’d like to see a dancer work it to Smack My Bitch Up (Prodigy) as I think it would be fun.

was way before my time as well. but they got banned because jim morrison said "higher" on live TV. they had warned the band ahead of time, but he still said it. they had asked the band to change the lyric because "higher" could be viewed as a drug reference

Yeah. Saw it in a documentary on the Doors. And yeah, I’m sure Ed Sullivan was right, and it was a drug reference.

I go for the longest song versions I can find. These regular versions don’t last long enough for me to get comfy.
