Chadwick "Black Panther" Boseman has Died.
Found out about it because one of the strippers I was sitting with last night got a message about it. None of us had heard about it, so we all started checking our phones see if it was a real thing. I remembered there was a discussion in social media earlier in the year because he showed a photo where he'd lost a lot of weight. The dancers around me were ages 20 to 30, latina and mixed black. Interesting to listen to them react and discuss it. The news hadn't gotten around the club where I was hanging out with the white dancers yesterday, so don't know if it would have registered the same way.

Thug Culture, I warned about it for years on TUSCL
"but it's message is reprehensible. Same goes for rap/hip-hop from the last twenty years." Better make it thirty years. Time has gone by while you dudes have been growing old.

    WTF? Boycott Atlanta strip club?
The Complex article has the most details about it and his statement about the social media reactions, but those ads are annoying. Stopped scrolling because the content kept skipping back up. I can't remember if I was ever at Magic City or not, and don't want to take time to check right now. It's not my type of club, but not because it's a "black club" I just don't like any of the "look at me" clubs. That post shadowcat put up about the shooting at XTC Cabaret, it's a lower dollar make it rain and be seen club. And the type of heat that gets generated when those types of egos are all in one place is what makes the vibe unappealing to me.

Dancer's behavior around staff and non-paying customers
"Hell I could be wrong and this is all bullshitting conjecture." It's no more bullshit than anything thing the rest of us post, but how the club is run has a lot to with what behavior is frowned upon or not. Then that plays into a pecking order. The top earners do get away with more because they can put more money in everyone's pocket. This is the part where someone should tell a Texas from Millstream Inn story. I was only there for one of them, but there were a lot of them.

Dancer's behavior around staff and non-paying customers
"does it give an idea of what type of dance/activities she'll offer??" It can in some cases, but I'd look for other things. Dancers and club staff being fake isn't just reserved for customers.

When You Had A Great Time In A Poorly Reviewed Club
Almost forgot my post about the topic. I almost always have a good time at clubs now. Even the bad ones. When I used to always be in a hurry sometimes I'd just miss the right dancer. Sometimes a place is nothing but fugs, but clubs in my area don't really have that problem.

"the dancer took my hand and led to me what I can only describe as a broom closet (including 2 brooms in a corner) with a 3 foot bench seat on the far wall." Multiply that by about 20 and that was the Block in its heyday. One time I thought s guy and his dancer might crash through a second story window overlooking the bar. Dude must've lost his balance because there was a crash and pale ass cheeks up against the glass because the blinds came down. If you've been that club you'll know which one it was.

This will be the second SA strip club review in a row where I'll probably mention a gunfight that happened after a recent visit. It won't be the day after this time at least. XTC isn't a great club by any standard, but it's been packed because it's the only one that was open for a while.

The thread was obviously going to get political, but it's gone way off the rails. Argue if you want, but this can't possibly be the only forum where you can scratch this itch. The "you aren't the boss of me" crowd is overrepresented on the boards and in the hobby, I'm in that crowd, but can you guys take this off the front page so people can filter it? I took this thread off ignore after seeing Breh's post because it was obviously linked, and also in the front room forum. It's funny how people can complain so loudly about not caring what athletes think outside of sports, but fail to recognize the same might be true for themselves by bypassing the countless sports and "________ lives matter" forums to talk incessantly about off topic stuff here. But it's really not the OT, it's you bringing your deeply personal baggage here if it's not related to strip clubs and strippers. Thinly disguising political footstomping as sports talk doesn't make it any more interesting to people who don't care about your politics.

Non-dancer related negotiations: VIP rooms and buying dancer off stage.
I usually try to work dance times around stage sets, but it doesn't always happen. The clubs I go to the girls can get skipped. It's only an issue for me if we've already gotten started and her name gets called. Otherwise if she wants to let the other customers see her I'll wait if I have time. Sometimes the dancers pay if they're getting dances/VIP in return, but I assume I'm paying the skip fee unless they say don't worry about it.

    Stop approving pre Covid reviews
https://tuscl.net/discussion/73247/ There's also the above thread in the VIP room on writing better reviews. I know that a lot of the front room stalwarts can't read it, and they already know the solution to that. But on that note, I think I'll go picking through some old VIP and Verified threads to bump so I don't have to stare at the blank space from all the everyman off topic ranting I just ignored.

I've also been downvoting them. Some are still getting through, but from the whining I've been seeing in resubmitted reviews there's probably plenty getting rejected. I also downvote the ones bitching about getting their other reviews rejected. Stop crying like little girls and just do better.

Stripper that you rate as a 9, is there anything she could do fashion wise that
Don't care at all about the clothes she has on. Don't care much about the tats she has. Don't care enough about piercings to pass on a 9 unless she's mutilated herself or they might cut me in a place I'm not trying to get cut. If she's mutilated she's not a 9 anymore, and I'm not into pain as a sexual thing.

Miami illegal strip clubs gets busted.
One of the BYOB clubs that was still operating in San Antonio quietly shut down after an ICE raid I was told by a dancer. Dancers and customers got pinched from what I heard. Business at that club was booming so it was odd that it closed, and even stranger that no one is really talking or posting stuff online about it. My reaction to the news was shouldn't they be focused on things that are important? One of their officers probably had a beef with the place.
