Zbott
Zbott, thanks for letting me know my reviews have been useful to you. I always appreciate hearing that. I am definitely looking forward to reading yours after your trip there later this fall, I always love living vicariously through first-timers in TJ.
Also, I appreciate you asking specific questions, sometimes mongers pop in here and just ask for "general advice", and I appreciate that your questions are detailed. Let's see if I can shed some light:
> Length of stay? 2 v 3 nights if I have the time
Honestly, this depends on your libido. Can you fuck hot chicas night and day for 3 nights in a row? If so stay 3 nights. If that sounds daunting, stay 2. Personally, I've found 3 nights to be ideal, but just barely for me. By the final round on that 3rd night I'm pretty exhuasted and might barely be able to pop but still have enough in the tank I'll enjoy myself.
> Amount of $ to budget?
Again, this depends so much on you, what you can afford, and what kind of experience you want. I'll give you two answers, both of these would be in addition to what you'll spend on the room:
* Bare Bones Budget: $400 per day would be enough for 2 HH arribas, some fichas, beers and food each day.
* Long-Time Lover's Splurge: $1200-1500 per day is more inline with what I have been spending. That kind of cash will give you the flexibility to do lots of fichas, some warm up VIP room dances with the ladies, as well as some longer arribas in the 1-2 hour range. You could keep yourself entertained with the company of hot chicas for most of a day and evening with that kind of cash on hand.
> Typical attire most mongers wear in the club/dress code?
This varies wildly. On one end, some mongers wear a jacket and jeans or khakis. Some show up in shorts and a t-shirt. I land somewhere in the middle, usually khakis (essential for good lap dances) and a stylish collared shirt. I'd adhere to the "lookin' good is feelin' good" rule, and where whatever you feel best in.
The dress code is pretty lax, other than they don't let you wear a hoodie or hat for security reasons.
> How loud is it staying there?
This depends on what room you wind up getting and your neighbors. But in general Cascadas can be loud. If you're on the lower floors you'll hear the club all night. And on any floor, you could possibly be dealing with loud neighbors blasting music and railing chicas all night. During the day there can also be loud construction in Cascadas.
One way to partially mitigate this noise risk is to book a suite on a higher floor. There's the Penthouse Executive Suite, which goes for just slightly more than the master double, but guarantees you a room on the 7th floor where things are generally quieter (unless you have loud neighbors.) My next trip there I'm staying at Rio de Orzo. I've heard that's quieter but can't say for sure until I stay there.
Bottom line: I would recommend bringing earplugs!
> I really enjoy voluptuous women with large natural breasts-is the a realistic expectation or do most girls have augmented tops/bottoms?
Augmentation is certainly popular with ladies of HK! But here's the bottom line: at any given day at time there will be between 50 and 100+ girls there, and it's virtually guaranteed that one is your type. If you're looking for an all natural girl who is voluptuous you'll find one. My recommendation would be to spend a lot of time walking around the club. In my experience the hottest chicas don't approach you often, only the subpar talent. You have to be on the move at HK, constantly scanning the talent, to find that perfect chica for you.
> Guys who have flown in directly to TJ how is the return process through the airport vs walking across the border?
I've only flown via SAN, so I can't opine much other than to say that crossing the border back to the US on foot is painful if you don't have SENTRI or GE, like it could be a 4 hour wait. If you're going to walk across, I would look into getting GE right now. If you start the process now and are diligent in booking a pro-forma appointment quickly, you probably have time to get it before September. Maybe. Flying direct to TIA would solve this problem too, and I believe you can now fly direct from PHX.
> Any interest in a group meetup with enough notice as it might be a good time to have a couple other compatriots to hang with for my maiden voyage? Looking to go in late September
I'm always down to meet up with other mongers! Unfortunately September is no good for me. I'll be in TJ next month, Weds June 26th through Sat, June 29th.
> Ok sorry for the 20 questions but just looking at best ways to prepare for trip
That's what this board is here for! Let us know if you have others, and again, I'm looking forward to reading your trip report this fall!

Thanks for the detailed review, I always enjoy reading first timer's reviews! Sounds like you had a good time, even if the performances you got were both grade B.
I think you hit the nail on the head that you need to do more fichas on your next trip. I would also recommend more time, as just one night is tough. If you're staying longer that lessons the pressure to take a chica up immediately, you have more time for fichas and to weed out the good providers from the mediocre.
And also, thanks for letting me know my reviews were useful to you!

Premium LAS VEGAS Dancer
> Perhaps members could pitch in here if it was a worthwhile feature.
Since you asked for feedback...
I think it's 100% worthwhile to have active dancers on the site. I think there's insight dancers can offer that we won't get in their absence. For example, the OP here, @Cruz_LV once explained to me that in Vegas, dancers have to tip out the VIP host if the PL doesn't offer the VIP host a tip. So in Vegas you need to plan on that extra 10-20% ask for the hostess at the end of your dance. Another dancer here @bubbleyum has posted some really insightful comments about being an ethical PL at an extras club. I could go on, but my point is there's incredible value to the content of the site to have a lot of strippers participating.
And I think you'll have a whole lot less of them if they don't get free VIP.

I've cut and pasted below a reply I offered to a similar thread from a few months ago. Here's the top 10 tips I'd have for newbies in TJ:
1. Read the reviews, so you know what to expect, what to pay, how to avoid things like the dreaded $30 wine ficha, etc. My own most recent three part review was chocked full of info: https://tuscl.net/review/408137
2. Pick up Babbel and study some Spanish. You don't have to be fluent, a little goes a long way.
3. Set a budget up front. Bring what you can afford to spend and expect that you'll want to spend it all.
4. Budget for plenty of fichas so that you can find the right chicas to take on arriba. Be direct with the chicas about what you want. For example, not all chicas will do LFK/DFK, but if you are upfront that you are looking for "una chica que le guste muchos besos" you'll find one that will.
5. HK is the "queen of dragons" of strip clubs and it's worth getting a room at Cascadas if you plan on staying long or doing multiple arribas. Chicago Club is a solid alternative to HK and worth a visit too.
6. Before you leave the US, create a Google Voice account and link it to a WhatsApp account, that will give you a way to message most chicas should you need it.
7. Bring a bluetooth speaker. A fun ficha activity is to work on a playlist for your arriba with a chica.
8. If you like lap dances and your budget can support it, I highly recommend doing VIP rooms at either HK or CC. At a cost of $110 per hour, with a tip to your chica of $80-100, these rooms are a great value and hot way to warm up for a VIP. In contrast, the privado rooms last only a song and are a terrible value.
9. If you can, get SENTRI / Global Entry to avoid the long crossing back to the US. If you're not able to do that, look into the bus back to the border, which will still save lots of time if the crossing is crowded.
10. Once you're back, make sure to post a good review, so that those of who can't make it to TJ that often can live vicariously through you!
A final warning: TJ will ruin US strip clubs for you. Be prepared for the fact that you will want to return, TJ is not an adventure you can just tick off your bucket list.
Feel free to post more direct questions or DM me. I'm jealous of you for getting to experience TJ for your first time, you WILL have a blast. Post a good trip report when you're back!

@Book Guy: it sounds like cheap is what you're looking for in a hotel? If so, there's the Budgetal Pompano Beach that's literally walking distance from Cheetah Pomp. I haven't stayed there so I can't say I'd recommend. I've stayed at the Hampton Inn Pompano off 95 before, not terrible not great, but also cheap. Inland Pompano is kind of industrial, so plenty of cheap hotels there. If you want something nicer, stay at one of the hotels on the beach, or the Hard Rock, which is a bit further to the south.
To the OP, just a to +1 everything @Dolfan said, he was incredibly helpful to me in knowing what to expect on my first trip to Pompano.

The truth hurts, but if you accept it, it will set you free
> After watching democrats support the rioters on college campuses
Yeah, which democrats were those exactly? These protestors are protesting the Biden administration, and they're a godsend for the American far right.
The fact is, like communist agitators in the Wiemar republic, these far left Gaza protestors are more likely to have the effect of helping to electing a far right government that weakens or even ends our republic, much more so than they are likely to have any impact on US policy in Israel or Gaza.
> I decided to send Trump money
This proves my point to a T.

I wish more people were paying attention to what Trump was actually saying on the campaign trail. It's scary, this is a whole different Trump than the one who ran in 2016.
This NYT article captures it well: Donald Trump Has Never Sounded Like This | https://www.nytimes.com/2024/04/27/magazine/trump-rallies-rhetoric.html
Choice quotes from that article:
> We will drive out the globalists. We will cast out the communists, Marxists, fascists. We will throw off the sick political class that hates our country. We will rout the fake-news media until they become real. We will evict Joe Biden from the White House, and we will finish the job that we started better than anybody has ever started a job before.
> When I asked the political historian Federico Finchelstein what he made of the speech, he replied bluntly: āThis is how fascists campaign.ā

You can unfriend me, unfollow me, and unlike me; but you cannot unlick my butthole
> They would not want to cause their friends (Soros, Biden, et al) any trouble.
This is the most inane thing I've read all week. Newflash: GAZA PROTESTORS ARE PROTESTING THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION.
They're weakening Biden, amplifying voter apathy on the left, and creating fodder for 24/7 coverage by Fox, OANN and other right-wing propaganda outlets. Just like communist agitators on German campuses in the Wiemar republic, the impact these protests will have will not be to encourage more leftist policy on the Israel-Gaza conflict, it will be to potentially help elect a far right government that will overthrow our republic.
The idea that Biden or establishment democratic donors like Soros would be behind this is infantile. What would Biden possibly have to gain from all this chaos on our campuses?
> I believe they could find people who had traveled to or from Gaza, Iran, and Lebanon and received money from groups known to be connected to international terror financing.
I don't think this idea is that far fetched. These protests have all the hallmarks of being marred by outside agitators. I also wouldn't be shocked if some of the online or even in person protests have been amplified by the Chinese or Russia disinformation machines, as Gaza-Israel is exactly the kind of fractious issue that totalitarian propaganda machines love to throw kerosene on.

> My return flight is a few minutes past 6 am so Iām planning to end my night at 3 am.
Is your flight out of MIA or FLL? If out of MIA, this might be a reason to hit up Tootsie's as a last stip. It would be on your way back from Pompano Beach to the MIA airport. And it's open 365/24/7 I believe. Otherwise, you're going to have a miserable one trying to kill time between 2 AM when the Pompano Beach clubs close and 6 AM when your flight leaves.

Chavelas always used to alwayas have live music on the weekends, but my last trip they were renovating the part with the stage so I don't know if this is still the case.
I've also never been, but @PutaTester has posted a positive review of La Gloria. https://tuscl.net/review/405087

If high mileage is important, I'd second the suggestions for the clubs near the DTW airport, or in Pompano Beach (near Fort Lauderdale.) Then again, if you're going to take the trouble to fly to either one of these places from Canada, why not just go the extra few miles and fly to SAN and go to Tijuana?
For affordable (with good mileage but not like DTW or PB), you might consider Philly, Atlanta, or Phoenix.

> Should I follow a particular order to visit these clubs... Should I also add Tootsieās as a stop since this is a bigger club that Iām familiar with?
I'll second the suggestion that if you're flying into FLL, you should just stick with the Pompano three. Miami (and Tootsie's which is a great club but more expensive than the Pompano 3) is a pretty long drive. You'd have between 7 PM and 2 AM to work the clubs. Honestly that might only be time for two clubs. I would hit Booby Trap first (this is my personal fav of the 3), then plan to hit Cheetah late night, and then only plan on Diamond Dolls as a third option if you're not having fun at BT or Cheetah at any point.
> That being said, should I pop a V pill before starting the night so I can release multiple times if I have to?
What I would do as a recreational V user is go for round 1 without it. Then I'd pop the pill after completing round 1, so that you're ready for round 2. That or split it up, and take half early and half late. In my experience, V only lasts about 3 hours so not enough time for an entire evening and multiple pops.
> No hotel booked as I plan to spend the night between these strip clubs before heading to the airport at around 3 am for my return flight.
How the heck did you get a flight at 3 AM? I've never heard of a flight that late/early. Bear in mind that the Pompano clubs close at 2 AM. Tootsie's is open later I think, but again, it's pretty far from FLL.

> Is there ANY reason to go to Chavelas?
Besides the obvious - it's where you'll find the fresh chicas just starting their shift, Chavelas has it's charm. It's a cool vibe when there's a live band, I've had fun dancing with chicas in there.
I would say, I'd rather have the option of banda music and a more Mexican vibe than have them knock that wall down and make it all hong kong. The variety of Chavelas, HK, and Miami is nice, IMHO.

@CJ, if I didn't see you post good advice on SoCal and TJ from time to time, I'd think you were a bot here to sow political discord.
Question for you: how do you afford this hobby without being a "greedy capitalist"? Surely the money you're spending in TJ, COI, on Figueroa street has to come from somewhere?

I've opinioned on this topic a lot via snoo forums, before.
One thing people miss in this discussions is that it's possible to simultaneously feel two ways about the same thing. The "duality of man" thing.
This is how I honestly feel about most of my clients. They annoy the shit out of me and a bitch about them all the time, yet, I can also find common ground and enjoy a beer with most when the situation calls for it.
