The last is probably your best option, just walk away. Easier said than done if you're infatuated with the chica. The big problem with the wine IMHO is that she never orders one. So if you do end up buying the wine, you've got to decide quickly if you're moving on, taking her to VIP, or taking her arriba. Also a note on the value. The Value at HK sucks if you compare it to ghosts of HK past, no doubt. But if you compare the value to other clubs in the current day, it's still a pretty amazing value proposition. It's frustrating that it's not as cheap as before, but the prices here still beat prices anywhere in the states for a full service experience.

However I think the longer the post is, the higher chance it has to fail on submission. So it's good to have it in wordpad so you can resubmit if it fails. @BookGuy, I have been to Inkster and Pompano both. Great spots. (Never been to Toronto, it's on my list though.) I overwhelmingly prefer TJ to Inkster or Pompano! Here's why: * It's MUCH cheaper for the value you get. A HH arriba with a smoking hot 8, 9 or 10 will run you $120 in TJ. In Pompano, $450-600 for a HH. In Inskter you can find extras for cheap, but not with the high level of talent. At Flight or LS, where there's good talent, you'd pay a lot more than TJ. To be fair, I don't find I spend less in TJ, but the value is so much higher. It's like when CostCo sells you a gallon of premium ice cream for the price of a pint. You still wind up paying the same for ice cream, you just buy more of it, maybe multiple flavors of it at the same time even. * I definitely prefer having a hotel room to smash, versus a loud, cramped cubicle in the club. Think of TJ bars like regular strip clubs, except there's a hotel attached, and you're guaranteed to find OTC. * Better selection. Hong Kong club might have 100 women working on an average Thursday night. Cheetah Pompano might have 40, less at any given Inskter club. * I think objectively, HKGC is a better physical club than any Inkster or Pompano club. It's bigger there's more to explore with shaving cream shows, hot tub shows, etc. Plus there's another 6-7 clubs within easy walking distance (<100m) of HKGC if you want to branch out. There's also multiple clubs in Pompano and Inkster, but you're driving between them. * YMMV, but I've found it much easier to get a real GFE in TJ than Inkster or Pompano. * This is highly subjective, but Mexicanas are just more passionate and hotter IMHO than Cubanas. Don't get me wrong, me gustan las Cubanas, pero las Mexicanas son tan buenas! The downsides of TJ are: * It's further away (from the east coast anyway) * Crossing the border is a hassle (unless you have global entry) * Safety is a bigger concern (though, inside the clubs and hotels are plenty safe, you just will want to be careful walking around.) Now that I've written that though I'm thinking I wouldn't want to walk around Inkster or inland Pompano either though. * There are white women, Asians and AAs in Inkster. In TJ (and Pompano too) it's all latinas. To Bottom Line it: TJ is definitely not as "down and dirty" as you might presume. The clubs and hotels are actually pretty nicely appointed, and the chicas are fucking hot. It's definitely worth experiencing it first hand, at least once!

^ In spite of my voluminous reviews of TJ clubs, I'm still pretty much an intermediate at this, with just 4 long trips and only 26 arribas under my belt. I would not call my experience superior by any means, there are others here like @PAFBABs and @PutaTester that know a lot more about la Zona Norte! That said, I haven't heard of girls being mistreated at BT. It's all under the same management as HK, so that would surprise me. But like I said, I've still got plenty to learn about TJ so that may be wrong. The chica I'm texting with doesn't seem to be concerned about bouncers or management. She's just worried there's no PLs there and she won't make any money. ^ I did meet one "derechisto" in La Zona. I might have asked a dozen people what they thought of the Mexican election, and this one chica was the only one who supported the center-right PAN candidate, Xochitl Gálvez. She liked Trump too, and was convinced Joe Biden was some kind of robot. I didn't get to unpack that with her, and I still have so many questions for that chica, like "do you actually want Trump to build the wall?" Anyway, my point about liberalism not being the same is: can you imagine saying to a group of young lady liberals in the US "I don't think a women is capable of being strong enough to take on the cartels." You would be tarred and feathered for it. Even US republicans wouldn't say some shit like that. That's what blew my mind. I think the way I'd characterize it is leftism in Mexico is that it's definitely to the far left economically (not necessarily socialism, but in support of big government, heavy regulation, and a wider social safety net.) But Mexican liberals tend to be MUCH more socially conservative than liberals in the US.

I totally agree that Cubanas coming here should learn to speak English. And in fact, I think many are. And, it really takes a ton of time and practice to learn a language. If you look up the CEFR (an international standard for language learning), you'll learn that you can count on investing about 600 hours into learning, just to get to level B2, which is a level where you can have a conversation without showing much effort. But 600 hours is a lot of time! Many Cubanas in the US are stuck in the A2, B1 zone where they might understand more than it seems, but still struggle to articulate thoughts in English (beyond "wanna dance.") In other words, they are learning, it's just hard to see that at beginner/intermediate levels. Final point, as overwhelming as language learning is, I'm finding that it's loads of FUN. And I think good for my middle aged brain too. It's a lot of effort, sure. But studying Spanish is time better spent that playing video games or other more wasteful things I might be doing in my spare time. So personally, I'm gonna keep at it!

Great review. Even 6 years later, I enjoyed reading it. I was talking to @PutaTester recently about HK in the late 2010s. I got my passport card in 2016, with the expressed purpose of using it to get to TJ. Then I dicked around for a few years, then the pandemic hit. So I wasn't able to go for the first time until about 2-3 years ago. Out of curiosity, I checked out some older reviews like yours TFP and I'm still kicking myself for not going in the late 2010s. $80 arribas. $1 groping is still a thing, but it's not as ubiquitous as you get swarmed by meseros to buy fichas if they see you grabbing assets so I don't think it's the same. No wine fichas in the late teens. No bar fines either. HKGC is still an amazing value IMHO, nothing in the states (or in TJ) compares, but if you compare HK 2024 to HK 2018, it's a stark difference. The lesson I think to be learned is: don't wait to go here. Three other comments: * You're review has me wondering how I'd say "Ass job" en español. "Trabajo de culito" probably doesn't work because in Spanish they don't talk about "jobs" for sex acts, like we do, I think. I'm gonna work on finding a translation for this, I'm curious. ("Si tienes curiosidad, Titty fucking, en jerga Mexicana, es "la puñeta rusa" / the Russian punch!) * I fucking lost my shit laughing out loud at the beginning of the review when you talked about how Tijuana turns everyone in to voluminous writer. Indeed that happened to me too, TJ brings out my own inner Tolstoy. Hilarious! * Finally, I'm curious TFP. Do you still make your way down to TJ, or is it no longer on your radar due to the rising prices?

The DC area sucks for clubbing, whereas Inkster is an Oasis. I'm near NH and save my SC funds for trips out of town. Your options include the Ebony Inn, just slightly north of where you'll be in Fairmount Heights, MD. All AA, higher mileage but generally no extras. Honestly EI is probably your best bet. Further north, there's two clubs in the Beltsville, MD, the Showcase Lounge and the Bodyshop. Those clubs are BYOB, dingy and painful to get to and from. And extras are very unlikely, though you can a good grind. You can also get a good grind at Papermoon in Springfield, VA to your south. It's expensive and it's more like a Vegas club, but with higher-than-Vegas lap dance costs. There's also clubs in the DC, and these just recently started offering lap dances. I haven't been but from what I can gather mileage is tame. Short of visiting an AMP, your best bet for extras is going to be way north in Baltimore. The Block, a shell of it's former self, might one day have offered a unique experience that you could put on par with Inskter. But it's really sketchy these days. If you do venture to the Block, checkout the day shift at Indulge.

Nice review, sounds like you had a great time. FWIW, your numerical rankings in this review confirm a theory of mine. People will rate Hong Kong relative to their prior experiences here where things were much cheaper. But everywhere else in la Zona Norte has had price increases recently. And the value is still absolutely amazing compared to anything in the US. So if you would put HK as '5' for value, what club would be a 10?
