The highest mileage dancer I've ever met was an absolutely gorgeous (easily a 9 in most people's books) white woman who dressed fairly demurely for the club we were in and had only 1 tattoo (that was hidden by her pony tail 90% of the time). She never discussed anything beyond a dance before we had a dance, but during it she definitely went well above and beyond, to the point that I had to point out that the bouncer did in fact walk through the lap dance room and I really didn't want to get thrown out. There's no way to tell mileage without taking a test drive.

Very apt description of Fantasy's. Cheap beer, there was always a show, and the mileage was surprisingly high. Here's hoping they just improve the facilities and don't kill the vibe.

I wouldn't call it a lame-ass club per se -- I did go at 4 PM on a Wednesday, after all. The facility is quite nice, honestly, and it'd be a really cool nightclub or bar. I think a lack of parking and a super-exposed entrance (you walk in right off the main street) deter daytime customers, which means that there's not many dancers interested in working dayshift. That being said, it's a short drive to Tampa and a much better clubbing environment, so I'd be hard-pressed to recommend the place to someone going to the Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater area to visit; the only reason I was there was because I had to be in that part of St Pete to meet some friends for dinner.

The wilder clubs in Florida tend to be in Tampa and the Miami area; Cocoa Beach and central Florida (especially Orlando!) are not nearly as carefree.

I'm laughing because the man was in Orlando. A bit over an hour west on I4, and he'd have been in Tampa, where he could get laid by the dancer of his choice for roughly what he spent on the Cashapp card and gave the sting... and no risk to him of being busted like this.

Khakis/slacks and a polo or dress shirt. Sometimes golf shorts and a golf shirt (more likely if it's summer, and therefore hotter than Satan's armpit here in FL). Nothing too flashy for my neck of the woods, but nicer-looking than most of the other PL's in the SC.

I've been doing Walmart and Target curbside pickup (both for groceries and goods) since they started offering it. The only downside is that the folks picking up the groceries don't give a shit about whether they get produce that's about to go bad or not; I've gotten some pretty crappy produce (and a gallon of milk that was "best by" 2 days after the order) in recent months, so I'm only using it for nonperishable food items now. No worries, there's a farmer's market near my house every weekend.
I probably save a good chunk of change doing this, simply because I'm not walking through the store and picking up impulse items.

@Rickdugan, I agree with you in that meeting and interacting with a customer in a SC is definitely a form of vetting, so in that sense my statement was a bit misleading. I'm sure there's plenty of strippers out there who've gotten a bad vibe about a customer and refused them for that reason.
My thought on escort vetting: I just don't want to hand over my DL#, address, email address, social media, or whatever else an escort vetting service asks for (and, in fairness, I've never hired an escort, so I don't know exactly what they'd be looking for and what they'd use to find it -- best guess would be doing a basic background check for violent crimes, plus probably a database of bad clients, so a scan of a driver's license would probably suffice). Much better to meet ITC, hit it off, "yes I'm a perv but I'm an ethical perv," and go from there. The only information a stripper needs from me is a Google Voice number.

Escorts... there's a lot of downsides versus a stripper. First, the real risk of being caught in a sting, which is not an issue with a stripper if you arrange OTC (I can't think a vice squad would set up a sting with a dancer hoping to catch some PL asking for OTC; that's a low-yield operation), and very very low risk ITC (if the club gets raided for drugs or something, perhaps). Then, there's the moral issue of "is she being trafficked?" Not that there's NOT that potential issue in a SC, but strippers for the most part seem to be more independent contractors, and if you go to a SC and see the same dancer a couple of times, it's likely that she treats this as her job and isn't being forced. With escorts, you get photos to select from (photoshopped, old photos from good angles and with perfect lighting), while with a stripper you get to meet her in person first. Finally, escorts generally do some vetting of their clients; I don't want to give my personal information out like that. A stripper just cares that the cash is green.
The only upside with an escort, that I can think of, is that since it's her job, she's slightly less likely to be flaky and will actually show up where and when you arrange, unlike a stripper who may or may not.

After reading some of the comment threads on SW and r/strippers, I'd say that there's definitely a number of dancers who are sociopathic or narcissistic, and bipolar wouldn't surprise me as well, and yes, ROBs would probably be more well-represented in that group. As for what a PL should do in relation to that information... exactly what we do. Don't pay up front, be willing to say "no," to attempts at manipulation, and understand that what every dancer sells, at the end of the day, is fantasy. She may like you as a person, but I guarantee that she's more interested in the contents of your wallet than your witty banter and sparkling personality.

There's room for both. One of my favorite SC's is a good place to get a cheap beer, chat with the dancers (and, if I'm not in the mood for a lapdance, I'm straight-up about it -- "I'm enjoying the conversation and a beer, and you're welcome to a drink as well. If a regular walks in the door and you've got to dip, it's cool, just let me know."). There are no extras there, not even the possibility of them as there's no VIP room, and the LD area is both small, not terribly private, and has cameras. However, for guys looking for extras, there's the appeal of having a chance to see what the girl looks like for real (as opposed to an old/Photoshopped/filtered photo on a website), to chat with her, and there's the thrill of doing something a little risky -- not that extras clubs have too much risk; that's why they're extras clubs, the VIP room is usually very, very private.
Sounds like you're more of the former and less of the latter. And that's cool; there's a lid for every pot, as they say.

IME, there's a good amount of GPS happening with the A team in bigger clubs (that attract bigger whales or simply have more customers/dollars per dancer walking through the door every day), while in smaller ones, the A team have insecurities or simply don't know that they're prime. Meanwhile, in the bigger clubs, the B team try harder because there's less available for them (as the A team monopolize the easy money).
So in smaller clubs, I'll go for the top dancer right off, while in bigger ones, I'm happier to entertain the B team and let the top dancer draw all the guys with more money than sense. It's pure capitalism; try and buy the best goods you can at the best price you can find, right?

Agreed Desertscrub -- Fantasy's is meh at best for a strip club. It's really more of a dive bar where you can see tits and maybe get a lap dance if you really like a girl.
I was told by one of the dancers that it's been purchased by the same owner as Allure, which is substantially nicer, so that may bode well. If they power-wash the place and throw up a new coat of paint, it'd do wonders for the atmosphere (I swear, the floors feel like the last time they were cleaned, a Bush was in the White House.... the first Bush). An actual remodel would be amazing, especially if they manage to make it more like Allure, although they'd have to figure out how to get rid of the crusty barflies that seem to hang out here.

"I go to Tootsies more often to watch sports and eat food than I do for dances." If I were local, I could see that. I bet it's a great place to watch a big event like the Super Bowl or World Cup final (I didn't mention how many TV's there were, but they were all over). And the food, from my limited experience, is certainly good enough to worth coming out for.

Ultimately, dancers are independent contractors. True, $$$ is the primary motivation, but the dancer gets to choose who she wants to spend time with, and who would you rather spend time with, someone who's pleasant and smells nice, or someone who repulses you with stench?
Related story: At one club I was a semi-regular at, I was at the bar with my back to the door, the dancer I was talking to saw someone walk in, grabbed my hand, leaned in and said "you're taking me into the LD room for a dance now. I'll pay the house fee, but you get one dance free."
During the dance (which was actually pretty solid), I asked her what was up. Turns out that the guy who had just walked in was a bad combination of slightly obsessed with her, had terrible hygiene, and didn't seem to understand being told "no." So she used the dance with me as an excuse to get out to the LD room, which adjoined to the locker room, where she hid out for a couple minutes after dancing, until she figured he'd left (which he did once she was unavailable). And, in fairness, I did buy a second dance from her right after the first (where she was a little friskier than initially, which was very nice), so she made some $$$ off the deal, so maybe it was a bit of a hustle, although I would have been buying dances off her anyhow, just not so suddenly.
