Enjoying an early Saturday afternoon

Rolled up to Tootsies in the early afternoon. No cover to get in, was seated near the stage by the manager. Almost immediately, a dancer came over and asked me to buy a lapdance, before I could even order a drink. Declined her, letting her know I wanted to settle down before anything, and the waitress came over to take my drink and food order.

Of note: the food is really good here. Like, seriously good. I ordered the shrimp, blackened, and it was well worth it. Hell, I might stop by just for lunch or dinner sometime!

After eating, the dancer that came over earlier returned, and brought a friend. They were trying to sell me a dance with the two of them, but I was more interested in the friend than the original dancer; we popped into the lap dance room for a quick dance, but it was surprisingly lackluster. She tried to get me to go upstairs to the VIP room, but she wanted $500 per half hour, and that was more than I figured it was worth.
