TUSCL has been around for a few years and appears to be growing. The growth has been due to the ease of access. It is not in the best interest of the site IMO to make access more difficult. Founder in his infinite wisdom gave us the ignore function to weed out people we don't trust/believe etc. so the user can make decisions for himself. We don't need others telling us what we should or should not see. And again, who has been harmed by a bad review?

Review Standards: Listing dancer names is not very impressive
Sorry Rick, I have not had any reviews rejected. Based upon the comments regarding reviews, my position does not appear to be the minority. And again. who has been harmed by a review that doesn't meet your standards? And you really have no idea if the volume of reviews has changed. And yes, the review bar is low, but the review Nazi's want to raise it. What will that accomplish? When I first joined TUSCL I would see several unpublished reviews when I logged in. Now I see only a few if any. Is that because of fewer reviews or faster approvals/rejections? Only Founder knows that answer, anything else is speculation. It still appears to me that you are the vocal minority, and it still appears to me based upon comments posted, raising the bar would result in less participation. Less participation results in less growth and information.

The zoo is definitely worthwhile. Don't get too close to the water with your walker. The riptides can be strong, and if you get wet your depends could weigh you down.

This excessive concern over reviews that appeal to the review Nazi's is ridiculous. TUSCL probably has a few hundred active reviewers with different perspectives and objectives in their visits. I could give a fuck if drinks are $6 or $7 in a club. I don't visit clubs based upon the drink price, and not everyone drinks the same thing. IMO the reviews are what is to be expected for a cross section of clubs and demographics. As I have stated before, just because a review doesn't meet your standard doesn't mean it won't be useful to someone else. I ask again, has anyone been harmed by a bad review? All of this pettiness over reviews will only tend to reduce the population of reviewers. Then we will be left with fewer reviewers and reviewed clubs. When that happens, I imagine the topic will turn to "what can be done to get more reviewers?" If all you can do is obsess about reviews and ratings, you need to get a life outside of TUSCL.

Unless it is obviously fake, there is no real harm caused by a review that doesn't give the details that the overly obsessed want to see. Unless pricing is out of the ordinary, I would rather read about the vibe and experience. If a club is reviewed frequently, the average reasonable person would read several reviews to get a better idea of the club. If a club isn't reviewed frequently, the average reasonable person would consider the club a crapshoot.

It just may be me, but sometimes I think people over think this strip club thing. In regards to reviews, I only approve reviews with perfect grammar, sentence structure and paragraphs. With the exception of the one I just approved for Sugar 44.

Why do ppl buy homes..if u have kids maybe I get it..but I would rather have 50-
The smartest thing you can do is do whatever it takes for you to become an owner as soon as possible. I have talked to people that won't buy a condo, which is a less expensive option to a house because they want a big house. So they rent for 5-7 years to save for the house. Meanwhile, prices have appreciated and they have to pay more. Buy good dividend paying stocks. I have been particularly fond of JNJ. Fuck the index funds. If you want to build wealth, you need to own as soon as possible. In every housing market there are good buys. It comes down to, do you want to build wealth, or make excuses to prevent you from accumulating wealth? Life is about choices and sacrifices.

You can rent for life, or you can pay a mortgage for 30 years or less and then live rent free for the rest of your life. It's your choice. I have been mortgage and rent free for 6 years now.

    Millennials are cool
The younger generations have a good point when they say the boomers have caused a lot of problems. Todays retires, are the people who primarily shaped the country the past 40-50 years. They were the people who were anti-capitalism in the 60's, but yet who entered the workforce/politics and made us what we are today. Some good, some bad. Somehow greed and excessive living replaced the ideals they had in their youth.

    Are you a drinker?
I only drink when in a club. I visit clubs 3-4 times a month and have 3-4 beers at most. My last (only) time I got sick from over consumption was 42 years ago in college drinking Harvey Wallbangers. In college, my fraternity life seemed to revolve around drinking, but I rarely over indulged as I was not willing to deal with the consequences of hangovers or DUI's. The loser leaf is a better alternative.

    Disconnect explained
Progressives like chasing windmills. They rarely held their beliefs before seeking public office. They like touting freebies to get votes. Years ago, we got stuck with Obamacare to improve healthcare access. Now they want universal single payer because Obamacare doesn't work. Climate change is a critical problem in their eyes, but yet they live their lives in hypocrisy regarding their own footprint. They like to tax the wealthy "their fair share", even though something like 48% of taxpayers pay 0 federal income tax. It is very obvious the progressive views/actions of California have ruined that state, as wealth leaves and is replaced by poverty. They want income for all for basic subsistence. Ignoring the fact that we have had income subsidies (welfare, SNAP, Section 8 etc.) for years, with the problem getting worse, not better. Throwing more money at people is not the answer. With all of the progressive proposals, you never hear how they are going to be implemented and paid for.

We have regime change, it is called elections. If you are so in favor of change, get off of this board and get involved in something productive for change. Otherwise you're just a whiney loser complaining, expecting others to do for them.

It can't be that ridiculous. AOC says we only have 12 yrs left. And if I remember correctly, about twenty years ago, Al Gore said we only had 10-15 years left.

My comments are not social Darwinism. If you could get your head out of your ass you would probably have a better idea of how the world works. Civilization has survived because the fit have been able to adapt to their environments both physically and intellectually. This, along with stupid government and a few other things has brought us to where we are today. We now have societies that have those that adapt and take care of themselves to the best of their capabilities, and we have those that have not adapted and can't take care of themselves. They could have adapted thru education, learning a skill or developing a work ethic. We lack personal responsibility. Social Darwinism is taking this information and using it to carve out niches to use to compare races against each other for superiority. Adapting to your environment to become successful is not race specific. The ability to adapt is available to all races. If you are going to go around spouting off, at least understand what you are talking about. Just because you or others choose a life that is unproductive, doesn't mean those that those that do select a productive life should support you.

The problem with civilization is that we started out basically as "survival of the fittest". We have evolved to having the fittest now taking care of the weak. At some point in time, the weak will outnumber the fit. We are getting close.

Trump has accomplished what others only talked about. 1. NATO countries have contributed over $100 billion more for their defense than in the past. 2. Mexico is finally stemming the flow of illegals into their country for their continued journey to the US. 3. N Korea stopped testing nuclear warheads. The list goes on. The media just focuses on their own agenda with their distortions. Trump gets things done. The media and politicians like chaos. It takes the focus away from the fact they don't accomplish anything. Trump now needs to get on the soapbox and push for term limits and the line item veto. Trump's outbursts have to do with playing to his base, and his frustration over politicians not getting things done and placing party before country. I particularly liked it when he brought the media to his meeting with Schumer and Pelosi over shutting down the govt over the wall. It was very clear they didn't want to discuss their position in front of the media, as it would expose their bullshit.
