Part of problem is about the expectations, too often we think texting is an effective method of communication, the reality is texting is convenient but not truly effective. Then factor in the flakiness of strippers and your have a formula for ghosting. When I was mongering I had plenty of DS and BGs try to contact me to visit them, claiming they lost their phones, deleted their contacts, reset thiet WhatsApp, and host of many more reasons for losing touch. It happens, no big loss because the one great thing about this hobby (lifestyle) is there are plenty of girls willing to take your money.

While I still remain on Mongering hiatus, this past weekend I made the trip to Tijuana, Mexico to hang out with my work buddies and watch an important fútbol (soccer) match. The Pedwest Entrance was closed so I walked over to the nearby entry point, the line was short at 3pm and the border agent had me go to a small room where they explained we have to purchase a 6 month travel visa since Mexico is still closed to tourism. About 15 minutes later and $30 lighter I was walking into Mexico for the first time since September 2019. With time to kill and no phone service, I make the 30 minute walk to Hong Kong TJ to use their WiFi, enjoy the sites taking one for the TUSCL team. My mission was simple, observe and enjoy the sights, check the layout, perhaps buy a ficha or two for a bargirl (BG) or two and extract some intel and report back to my TUSCL brethren. After spending about an hour at HK, I went to meet my friends at the Zona Río, once the match concluded my friends wanted to go to El Centro and check out the strip clubs. My friends are young and live in TJ, so I thought they could provide insight from a local perspective, so I returned to the Zona Norte. The night continued with a brief visit to HK and some of the smaller bars, then we ended up spending most of our time at Chicago Club. At 1am they called it a night and headed home, I stopped by Adelita's and finishing my night at HK, proving I can still have fun even while on Mongering hiatus. I will be submitting the reviews shortly.

I would review restuarants, bikini coffee shops, and even strip clubs on Yelp, check them out, I use the same screen name. After a while, I wanted more intel on COI clubs which lead me to TUSCL. Later, I did stripper reviews on bonein.com which was for me a waste of time, as to gain access to the real Intel (who does what and for how much) the powts that ran the sight had to feel you were making a good contribution to the sight. They also had a lot of stupid rules and deleted four of my reviews without giving me a chance to fix them. One member wrote at least 40 reviews and still did not have access to the good stuff, I realized I probably had better Intel already and after the fourth deletion I told them to delete my account.

If you arrive before check in time (3pm, you can check you bag in at the Hong Kong front desk for a small ($1 or $2) top. They give you a claim ticket and you leave your items there as long as you need, you can even leave the club, check out the other bars or get something to eat and then return to HK to claim your item(s). I did this several times and did not have any problems. PreCovid, the earliest I checked in at Cascadas was 230pm (which included a $5 tip), however, most of the times I arrived early the would tell me the rooms were not ready and one time i had to wait 15 minutes outside of my room as they finished cleaning up and preparing. At Hotel Rizos I checked in a few times at 2pm with the help of a tip. Happy Mongering 2021

@tahoecruz thanks for the great write up In my brief time mongering in TJ, I feel the most overlooked part of my experience was the smaller clubs. Hong Kong and Adelita's were so much fun, I rarely went to Chicago Club and never visited the smaller clubs. If I ever go back to mongering in TJ I would definitely hit up the smaller clubs. Also, like you I enjoy the hunt but a reliable mesero can be useful in finding BGs.

While spending too much time with a nonspending is advisable, from a marketing standpoint playing on your phone or shooting the shit with coworkers looks bad, TUSCLers have remarked it makes dancers look lazy, aloof, in different, standoffish, and unapproachable. In other words, dancers to avoid. If you spend a reasonsable amount of time with a nonspending pervert it makes you look desirable and approachable to other PLs. Mis dos centavos.

My mind says Gonzaga is the best team but my heart will root for USC tomorrow night. Fight On!

It has been a while (2019) since I visited a club in the OC. During my visits, I went to Imperial, the Library, Sahara, California Girls, and Venus. The prettiest dancers were at the Library but the lowest mileage and it takes a while for the party to get going, so with a time limit I would not go to the Library Sahara has decent talent with better mileage than the Library. For me, Imperial had the best talent/mileage experience and the best pricing (OC prices are higher than COI) and a bonus is many COI dancers went to Imperial and many are down with the program. Venus is a dive with great prices, good good, cheap beer, low mileage, little privacy (avoid the VIP room) and the least attractive dancers of the OC clubs, though the have a few gems. California Girls is the like the Library but with less attractive dancers, it can be fun but with time constraints, I would avoid. Happy Mongering 2021.

My x wife and I had dogs, cars and rabbits, when we split up we had 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 rabbits. When I left, I took 2 dogs and 2 cats. All of my pets have passed, so currently I have no pets.

Everyone mongers differently but a few things I learned and if I did return to mongering in TJ I would do: 1. Avoid the Bargirls (BGs) with a lot of surgery and that hang out in the middle of the club, most of the BGs I selected from there were usually an underwhelming but pricey experience. 2. Avoid BGs who not accept a ficha but push for arriba right away, again most of the experiences felt rushed and underwhelming. 3. Before asking a BG to join you for a ficha, ask her what she likes to drink, if she wants a shot (of whatever) it is usually a sign of a quick push to go arriba, the preference would be a beer (or the like) where you can relax and get comfortable with each other. 4. If you see a BG you like, do not wait to make your move, because another PL will and you may not see her again and then your review will include "there was a BG I wanted to take arriba but I did not listen to Cristobal..." Check out this discussion a year or so ago about escorts in TJ. https://tuscl.net/discussion.php?id=69263 @oldgringo (no longer active on TUSCL) had some good insight about TJ escorts. In my time mongering, I did not try it because the club scene in TJ was exactly what I was looking for. If I decide to return to mongering, I might try the escort scene as a change of pace. During my clubbing days in the COI after a good VIP session, there was nothing better than Jack N The Box Tacos and a mini Jumbo Jack.

A few thoughts about this topic: The data in the linked study is from 2004-2006, not too timely, also I am skeptical of the study's findings. HKTJ and its affiliates requires their BGs to have updated medical cards, the BGs pay for the cards out of their own pockets and need the card before they can work, the card has to be validated every month. Some HK BGs would try to discourage me visiting the other clubs by saying their BGs were unclean and bribing the managers to allow them to work without a valid medical card. Most of the BGs and SGs in the Zona Norte are registered sex workers, not too many bars want to risk their license hiring unregistered workers. Back in the early 2000s (years before I became a mongered) there was a show on HBO or Showtime about the Bunny Ranch in Nevada, and I watched a few episodes and thought they would have to pay me to go there, the workers were unattractive, the sex looked boring, the prices were outrageous. The topic of STIs is surprisingly not discussed too often on TUSCL, perhaps mongerers trying to not jinx other mongerers. With regards to STIs the Mongering lifestyle is higher risk than a monogomous or incel lifestyle. Knowing this and being as careful as possible (and a little lucky) I was fortunate to avoid any negative consequences during my mongering time.

Living in SoCal with a large Asían population, when I started this adventures I had high hopes of finding plenty of Asían dancers to cure my ocasional yellow fever. In my over year of mongering I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience with Asían dancers. While most were attractive and had nice bodies, the quantity of dancers and quality of the experience was disappointing. The most on shift was 6 at Synn COI with 6 Asían dancers on a busy Thursday night and the average was 1 or 2. If they were relatively attractive they were usually very busy or spent most of their time with regulars. The tip expectation was in some cases double or triple the going rate for services. The dances were mínimal contact, the grind was poor and even the FS experiences underwhelming. I was cured of my yellow fever.

To each their own but this sounds like the plot to a porno and it sounds like a bad idea. By introducíng the subject it sunds like possible sexual harassment and a bad idea during the aftermath of the Me Too movement, I am not sure of the reprucussions but at the very least I could see being blackballed by the local realators. When it comes to business I want competetent and motivated people to do the job right, sex never enters into my thinking, again to each their own.

I mongered (and clubbed) for a little more than a year and visited a total of 17 clubs in SoCal and TJ.

@papi_chulo I agree a bikini contest can be tame and boring compared to a strip club but for me I enjoyed the contests, this was long before I learned about the "nothing happens in the VIP" room in strip clubs.

Finally, a great post on TUSCL Imagine that, a topic about hot chicks in bikinis. First, I liked number 4 the best but I have no problem with the winner. All four have nice "assets" and would drain my, umh, wallet if I they were dancing at a club. I love bikini contests, they were the highlight when I was going to all the SoCal Carshows. So many great memories.
