Nevada Brothels

I found a study that evaluated the rate of STD among FSWs in Tijuana, including ones in brothels, and to me the rate was terrifyingly high.

So I'm considering going to a Nevada brothel... What's the pricing like, what does it start at and for how much of the girl's time?

I'm not trying to scare anyone, I'm just talking about what *I* am comfortable with.

    But here's the article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/article…

Thanks I’ll read it - I wasn’t trying to be a smart ass - I was genuinely interested. If you’re asking about things like this I’m guessing you’re married.

There are a lot of clubs across the country where you can get what you want with little effort. You may want to go that route, but if course COVID has a lot of this still on “pause” and I personally don’t see it “normal” country wide until summer or fall.

Obviously I support legal prostitution, but I'm not willing to take a risk at random clubs. Mainly because it's illegal, but also because the girls aren't health screened.

That's why I'm curious about the pricing in Nevada brothels. :)

    I am single, BTW.

I haven't been to Nevada brothels, but I've seen photos of some of the girls. I'll stick to local strippers.

Those brothels are all closed right now.
And besides, they are highly overpriced anyway.

TJ sex workers actually have to get tested for STD's regularly. Not sure how thorough that process has been lately with COVID and all.

No article he posted would scare me away from TJ. Use protection, don't be a dumbass, and you'll be fine.

I went to two NV brothels many years ago (like 30), but suspect they're largely the same... which is to say, disappointing. I went to Cheri's and Moon Ranch. Similar experience - you're buzzed in through a metal gate into a waiting area. The girls come out and are generally underwhelming. You pick one and off to a room you go. She produces a "menu" of services, all of which are 3X the prices you see quoted in internet ads. Even then, half&half was like $750. They'll come off the price if you blk, to generally about half. Still expensive, but I went with it both times. And both times, the girl just wants to get it over with. Not much GFE and lot of "your time's almost up."

Overall, I'd skip'em. It's too bad, because they could be excellent. But something went wrong with the whole NV brothel scheme. I'd stick with Escorts, TJ girls (w/condoms, of course), or if your budget allows, flying to Europe when covid permits.

    Good luck!...

I've been to Tijuana a lot, but never to the brothels in Nevada. However, I've read the reviews here on TUSCL (they are few in number, which kind of tells you something), and to me they seem like a total waste of time and money. Just my impression -- and the comments above support that.

I believe the posted article is at least 10 years old. I am not dismissing the findings, but STI issues in TJ could be better, or worse now. Either way, wrap that rascal!

Every time this subject comes up, I post this caveat: ALL Nevada brothels are massively overpriced (house keeps 50%, plus she has to pay for room and board), and everything on the menu is a la carte (no exceptions). It is incredibly antiseptic and completely impersonal. Absolutely no kissing on the mouth. And this reminder: ALL activity in your room is recorded, to make sure the service provider is not doing anything extra. If she does, she is kicked out, so she's not doing something special "just for you." My source for all this is an Orange County escort whom I met and, after we completed our wonderful GFE time together, we chatted about the NV sex scene, of which she travelled to a couple times a year.

As mentioned, the brothels are closed right now anyways. You have heard there's a pandemic going on, right?

    Theyre closed.

But choosing sex acts off a menu. Having your dick inspected for diseases. Its a very inhumane way to have sex.

That NIH article doesn’t mention genital herpes, but I can’t be surprised. It’s expensive to test for and most infections are asymptomatic.

I would look for an up to date answer about whether the brothel you’re interested in requires testing for HSV-2.

Bunny Ranch, The Love Ranch, Mustang Ranch, etc in Nevada are all expensive. I've been quoted anywhere from 700 to 5,000 dollars for a half hour of half n half.

The brothels keep 50%. If the customer was brought in by cab, the cab driver gets 20%. Girls pay room and board, std testing, licensing, lube, etc. Everything is just astronomically expensive and the girls arent very attractive.

You get peace of mind of a weekly STD checked girl through USA standards. Unlike Mexico/Tijuana brothels. Mexico juristictions arent really known for its fantastic governing regulations on this matter. You are right in being concerned. I wouldnt want to bring back chlamidia/ghonnorea/etc to my wife. Some stds are silent, and even a sniff test wont tell you. I guess you get what you pay for.

A few thoughts about this topic:

The data in the linked study is from 2004-2006, not too timely, also I am skeptical of the study's findings.

HKTJ and its affiliates requires their BGs to have updated medical cards, the BGs pay for the cards out of their own pockets and need the card before they can work, the card has to be validated every month.

Some HK BGs would try to discourage me visiting the other clubs by saying their BGs were unclean and bribing the managers to allow them to work without a valid medical card.

Most of the BGs and SGs in the Zona Norte are registered sex workers, not too many bars want to risk their license hiring unregistered workers.

Back in the early 2000s (years before I became a mongered) there was a show on HBO or Showtime about the Bunny Ranch in Nevada, and I watched a few episodes and thought they would have to pay me to go there, the workers were unattractive, the sex looked boring, the prices were outrageous.

The topic of STIs is surprisingly not discussed too often on TUSCL, perhaps mongerers trying to not jinx other mongerers.

With regards to STIs the Mongering lifestyle is higher risk than a monogomous or incel lifestyle.

Knowing this and being as careful as possible (and a little lucky) I was fortunate to avoid any negative consequences during my mongering time.

Before the HBO show Cathouse, the prices in the non Bunny Ranch brothels while high, were at least not insane. You could actually get $300 / hour at the Kit Kat or Sagebrush. Once Cathouse came out, the prices went nuts, everyone wanted at least $750 / hour, and the woman who were on the show all wanted $1500.

The problem was even before Cathouse, you would have a much better time for a more reasonable rate. For instance an equally pretty gal outside the brothels would be around $200 or less for an hour, and that hour would be for multiple shots, while at the brothel, you come your done. The sex would also be a lot better.

There is also a bit of purposeful misinformation that the Brothels put out. While it's true the brothel may listen in, they don't really care what you are doing, they are not checking to see if the gals are doing extras such as a BBBJ, but whether they are pocketing money. Such as Negotiating 30 minutes of oral for $300 and taking an extra $100 for the a half and half. Or if you are tipping them, say $40 because they were "amazing." Which the house gets a cut of.

As for safer sex at the brothels, that's also not true. While they are tested more often, they are not tested for everything, just the typical STD's. While the brothels state everywhere, including the gals, that everything is covered, Condom for Blow Jobs, Dental dams for dining at the Y, and in even a few no mouth to mouth kissing. That's not followed 100%. Of the dozen and a half or so I tried, including two pornstars, mostly before Cathouse, only three didn't allow kissing, only one wanted dental dams, and about a third, including both pornstars did a BBBJ, and one did CIM with spitting.

Judging by HBO's reality show at Moonlight Bunny Ranch, the pickings are pretty slim. I do remember an article from the Great Recession about another Pahrump brothel were the girla were complaining about slow business. At least that one had a couple of B-list porn stars, including Brook Tyler.

The women you saw Cathouse weren't always the prettiest. One thing the show did do was draw some hotter looking women there, and the majority were prettier than the gals who were on the HBO show. Unfortunately every one of them had a huge case of platinum pussy syndrome. The times I visited before the show became popular, most of the women wouldn't make a dime dancing in a strip club.

The two times I went after the show became popular, five of the women on the show were there, but only three of whom I recognized Air Force Amy, Brooke Taylor, and Bunny Love. Amy should have retired 10 years earlier. Brooke Taylor wanted 1500 for an hour or 2000 for 2 hours, nothing less. Bunny Love was the prettiest of the Cathouse gals I saw, and wanted a more "reasonable" $800 for an hour.
