Seems like the review section took a hit. Wonder what happened?

@NJBalla Great point! I'd love to read a san_jose_creep review of the Market St. Cinema in San Francisco back in '93.
Or even of the Brass Rail in Sunnyvale, despite it being closed down for several years now. I was hitting those same clubs back when he was too.

Hey, no kidding, I called that out 2 days ago in your prior thread. A few minutes ago, ZERO daily reviews, 2 unpublished ones. I approved 1, deferred the other. Watch what people do ( or don't do) vs what they say.

Probably going to be reduced for a few, I have two that I haven't published yet but I suspect that most will curb their visits til this blows over as will I,

Number of confirmed Corvid-19 cases still increasing
Number of approved TUSCL club reviews decreasing

Public Health: Insufficient test kits; TUSCLers insufficient club reviews

Nice to know intrepid TUSCLers have their priorities straight

I visited a club yesterday, but it was a calculated move on my part, as I figured better sooner than later, when the predicted 70% of us are hit with the corona virus. The club is very small, somewhat rural in nature, with a very low number of patrons and dancers, neither of which would be likely to travel outside of the small-ish county they're in. No corona virus cases reported there yet. I wasn't going to write a review, but maybe I should so the rest of you have something to read! lol

@sirlap: I was going to college down the street from the Brass Rail in the mid 90's and went in there a few times. Didn't have much $ do do much, but given it's Santa Clara County nothing much was happening anyway. I'm feeling a little queezy to think I could've been in there at the same time as SJG. Uggh!

I have a few club visits over the last few weeks when I met up with nicespice and Layla2020. I'll work on getting those typed up.

BAngus, Sunnyvale Brass Rail is gone now. Not like the more common mileage clubs which many places have. But always fun and lower cost. And a good place to meet women. And that was were I learned that if you treat them in a totally civilian manner, that they will be civilian with you.

@BAngus I was at Cal and working in the Bay Area in the 90s and I also wonder if I crossed paths with san_jose_creep back then. And yeah I went to the Brass Rail often.

Review numbers seem to have dipped for sure

Just saving up money now. We should all support our local clubs once this ends to keep them in business.

I am not going until this ends. Think about this. If you slobber all over the chest of your dancer right after another PL does the same thing that could create issues. Have you ever seen a dancer wash up or use hand sanitizer after a dance?

^ Not a big deal. When you write a review, there’s a “review guidelines” to help you focus on what others are likely to care about. Answer everything the guideline asks that you remember. As long as you can write basic sentences in English, it’s really all you need.

I tend to refer to the guidelines to keep myself accountable because my reviews have a tendency to go off tangent 😝

Raview numbers seems to drop considerably when members like minnow and clubber have rejected seemingly most of them with comments like 7 lines is not a raview and not enough details. Dome menbers being too picky has definitely taken its toll.

Since the changes happened where members pass or fail raview has definitely helped with quality, but some members have unreal expectations and need to stfu or gtfo

@FLOeange... please do write a raview. We love em!

Where's the proof # have dropped??
Have any of you taken the time to go back over the last 15 days and ACTUALLY COUNT the # of reviews for each day?
Do it! Submit the results here. Prove it.

Me do it? No, I don't see anything more than random variation. Just like the occasional complaints that Verified or VIP aren't being used [now] so should be eliminated.

Fact-less armchair speculation.

@joker44 sounds like someone is feeling the effects of cabin fever. Pornhub and camsoda are excellent ways to reduce stress if you are too scared to go out

Balla - Nice try to reframe and avoid the real question. No, not stressed, I wasn't doing much clubbing before Corvid-19 outbreak. Thanks for the suggestions but I was already aware of those sexual-outlet resources. Wasn't feeling particularly scared but I appreciate your generously practicing some *magic mind-reading* to alert me to what I must *really* be thinking and feeling. What would we simple folk do without you mind-readers to guide us?

So back to the real question - are you seriously saying review # decreased. If so, present evidence.

Balla, if all you want to do is find a topic to start a post and bullshit, that's fine. It's part of what the TUSCL is designed for.

"bullshit is speech intended to persuade without regard for truth. The liar cares about the truth and attempts to hide it; the bullshitter doesn't care if what they say is true or false, but rather only cares whether their listener is persuaded."

Driving to an event yesterday took me driving by both of my favorite clubs in the early evening. I was really surprised at the amount of cars I saw. While I presume there is somewhat of a slowdown, there is still enough traffic to keep these clubs going.

People will always want to go to clubs no matter what. This won’t stop it unless it’s goverment enforced

@joker when i wrote that comment it was in the afternoon and there were 0 reviews. Not a common occurence. I dont have to get a study put together. Its not rocket science people arent clubbing much anymore. And with the impending national lockdown expect current reviews to drop. It will most likely be users reminscing about a visit from the good ole days when they could go to a concert or restaurant
