^^ Arizona Turd Blossom said, "and east coaster.. how the fuck did you know this was his first review unless you wrote it." If this douchebag wasn't such an illiterate asshole -- and had actually read the review -- he would have seen Archieboy123's last sentence, which was "This was my first review so if you’re reading this please let me know how I did." Reading is fundamental, but apparently they don't teach that in the desert. Archieboy123, you did just fine, which is apparent from a clean sweep of seven up-votes by adjudicators. Ignore the asshole. We all do.

How does a Goth Sugar Baby sound?
GGGoddessLive, welcome to TUSCL and thanks for posting something so well-written and informative for your very first review. Nice work! A couple of thoughts to help you understand the comments that you have gotten so far:
1) The comments posted by any review "adjudicators" are done blind, without knowing who wrote the review. That being the case, there's no way that Lockjaw or anyone else could have known your back-story described in the discussion you previously posted called "On the Road to Becoming a Stripper." Without a careful reading of your review, an adjudicator might not have even picked up that it was written by a woman. In the "Comments" section, people can post comments after seeing your posted review and knowing who wrote it.
2) Ignore anything you ever see here written by Arizona Turd Blossom (desertscrub). Everything he posts is negative -- usually nasty and often personal (not to mention homosexually-oriented). More TUSCL members have him on "ignore" than any other member.
Again, thanks for your contribution. Honest and well-written reviews by dancers -- and female customers -- are welcome here. I, for one, look forward to seeing more from you.

^^ twentyfive, not to split hairs, but the quote "you can fool some of the people all of the time..." is actually from Abraham Lincoln. The quote most associated with P.T. Barnum is "There's a sucker born every minute." I would argue that either quote has a place in this discussion.

I think one of the problems is that first of the “reject” options when adjudicating unpublished reviews is “not enough club details.” Some review writers who get cited for that think that means “club architecture.” It doesn’t. It means, as others have pointed out, that there are details that make it helpful for the reader to assess what it might be like to visit there, such as specific costs of various things, general make-up of the dance crew, a sense of mileage available, etc. Maybe there’s a better descriptor than “not enough club details,” but I’m not sure what that would be. I’ll leave it to others here to come up with suggestions.

Definitely a club ad! (Just kidding.) Thanks for the well-written write-up, Sgrayeff. Sometimes I see a bad review from a single visit and I wonder if it's usually that bad, but thanks to your persistence, the picture is clear.
Keep up the "pussy optimism"!

Milf lover and newbie nerd
In 2017 I was visiting an upscale no-extras club in Atlanta with a female friend, a dancer from Florida who used to post here regularly. She and I were in a VIP with a very cute dancer who was totally enthralled with my attractive friend and was confident we could get away with a lot.
From the first minute, the dancer insisted my friend get naked, then she followed suit, and they were all over one another. I was thoroughly enjoying the X-rated girl-on-girl show and was just starting to join the festivities when the waitress peeked in, followed by a bouncer who abruptly ended our session, threw us out of the club, and told us never to come back.
My friend, who has not been seen on TUSCL for a couple of years, was one of the very best writers here and posted a lengthy write-up of our experience from her perspective. If you’re interested and have the time, here is the link to her entertaining account entitled "Uh oh... caught in the act."

I agree that the general range of "money spent" -- when taken alone -- is not all that helpful. When I look at reviews in the queue for approval, sometimes they've checked a "money spent" range but mention nothing at all about it in what they write. That's not the only reason I'll reject a review, but if the review doesn't really provide enough info about the club or their visit, I'll include a note along with my rejection that says "Please read the TUSCL review guidelines, rewrite, and resubmit with more details, especially about costs. TUSCL readers will be interested in knowing how you spent $300-$500." That's especially important to me if they report they had a lousy time.

Glad some of the Top 40 lists came back, but I'd also like to see the return of the following:
- TUSCL members with the greatest number of reviews posted (based on last 18 months)
- TUSCL members with the greatest number of individual clubs reviewed (based on last 18 months)
- TUSCL members with the most Ignores

In my day-to-day life, I almost *never* use cash, but my strip-club wallet is stuffed with it. I won’t use ATMs or credit cards in a club, and I always bring more cash than I plan to spend, because, well, sometimes the situation warrants it. I never drink alcohol and have learned not to think with the little head, so it’s easy for me to keep things in perspective.
I keep my cash separated by denomination. A wad of singles goes in my shirt pocket for tipping, and everything else is in my wallet. Like other OCD PLs, I line the bills up so they’re all oriented in the same direction, then I put them in my wallet so the *back* of the bills are facing me, and the *bottom* of the bills are most readily visible.
Why do I do this? When reaching for cash in a very dark club, whether on the main floor, in the lap dance area, or in a VIP, it’s easy to make mistakes, so now there’s a method to my OCD. With the exception of singles, there is a *very large number* in the lower right corner on the *back* of every U.S. bill – 5, 10, 20, etc. It’s easier to see this in the dark, and since that corner is now readily visible to me, I only have to pull out the corner of the bill to see what I’m pulling from the stack.

I agree with the comment about seeing clubs listed in the wrong geographic area on the strip club list. There's a club from the Netherlands listed with the Huntsville, Alabama clubs.

Thanks, founder. Looks good!
Do you still consider it a work in progress? For example, I used to be able to click on the address of a club and be taken to a Google Map of the location, but I can't do that in the new site. So should I complain that I can't, or just shut up and wait? 😁

Nicely done, reverendhornibastard. I'm definitely a member of the "I love DATY" club, which I joined when I was 15 years old. At age 16, I first experienced having a girl squirt, and it was during DATY. It was a first for her as well. Fun times!

@Rosewater: First of all, ignore desertscrub. He's a moron, afraid to venture out of his small, insular world. He has never been to TJ and thinks anyone who goes there will end up dead.
Secondly, I share Greanbeans' enthusiasm for Tijuana clubs and agree with him that "there’s not a bad way to enjoy HK [Hong Kong Gentlemen's Club]." That said, I will beg to differ with him a bit in response to your question "Is it worth it to go to TJ if we’re not interested in extras/prostitution?" I would say no, not if your main objective is to "hang out and watch the stage."
You said, "We’re mostly interested in watching some good stage routines and people watching." People-watching, maybe, but the venues there are legal brothels, not strip clubs, and as such don't have much in the way of stage shows. Most first-time visitors to HK -- the premier venue there -- are surprised to learn that while they do have girls who dance on stage, many, if not most, do not remove any articles of clothing when they dance.
Yes, they're beautiful women, and based on your statement that "We enjoy strip clubs, but we like grabbing a table, having a few drinks and mostly just tipping the stage," you can do that, but I agree with jascoi that "as a married couple you'll probably have a better time honestly at Cheetahs in the north part of San Diego." I am not familiar with Cheetah's, per se, but many strip clubs in SoCal will provide you with more of what you said you like than anything in TJ.

Somewhere in the Carolinas
I posted a discussion item about this on TUSCL yesterday afternoon. Although there is still not much information available, a Google search shows reports of the shooting were posted in newspapers and on TV news websites all over the country -- and even some abroad. They're calling it a "mass shooting," the definition of which is when four or more people are shot. This one had seven people shot -- six wounded and one dead. As they say, "There but for the grace of God go I" -- I was there just last month.

"Is that true, in every strip club in the country outside Indianapolis you have to buy at least two drinks?"
Every strip club in the country? Absolutely not. Not saying the policy doesn't exist in some clubs; I've actually seen signs saying that. As others have said, it's not universally enforced.
I've been to probably 300 different strip clubs all over North America, and I can think of only one or two where I was *told* they had a two-drink minimum. Now, it may have been the case that a lot of clubs I was in actually *had* that policy, but I've never seen it enforced -- even in the one or two where I was told about the policy.
Maybe it's only enforced when PLs just sit and watch and otherwise don't spend any money. My drink of choice is bottled water, which I nurse for quite a while, but I am always interacting with the girls -- and usually stage-tipping, getting dances, or doing VIPs. As they say, a rolling stone gathers no moss.
