Every immigrant that Iâve talked with who came to the US as an adult has told me how much better it is than where they came from. Now I donât speak with the ones who returned to their country because they said it was shitty in the USA, but generally they return due to wanting to stay connected with their family/roots.
I do keep in touch periodically with some whom I went to school w/in college. Basically they complain a lot about being taxed on 50% of their income, and the overly burdensome red tape to start anything related to land/permits/business. This is in Northern Europe, and compared to the US at 30% (or less)taxes on income and a less burdensome beauracracy on business
Projects, it makes it doable in America if youâre willing to put in the effort it takes to succeed, where as overseas no matter how hard you try youâre not getting anywhere. Problem lies with those whoâve been coddled with how good they got it growing up and not knowing how to fight through the struggles of overcoming obstacles to achieve success. When you go through tye beatings it takes to create success, youâre grateful for what you have. A lot of us worked for what we got and are grateful for it, but there is an ubiquitous media that allows a platform for a bunch of whiny complainers loving to play the victim card for whatever challenge is put in front of them. Thatâs the biggest difference in todayâs society, and when misery lives company thatâs all theyâre looking for, sympathizers. Iâve got news for you, everybody born in this world will have injustices served to them and it is up to the individual to overcome those unjust opportunities in order to thrive.

That gap will always be there, and the emotionally mature male customer will under this and proceed with tact, allowing the stripper to act as she wishes yet enforcing strict boundaries on what said customer will allow, again tactfully. Iâm voting for Ramaswamy. His stance against corporate policies centering their âtheoriesâ around ESG forcing the investment community to abide by social/political diverse hiring and climate agendas needs to be kept in check. I find it funny all these climate conspiracists never study the affect sun flares have on weather, which is by far greater than can be found from humans. Weâve only been able to measure it for a few decades and notably there are more activity from the Sun lately in our short recordable history. Climate hoax is being used to jam policies down our throat, and force use to be âwokeâ in Hollywoodâs version. We all have our own some movement. Ramaswamy gets my vote.

Thereâs definitely a demographic shift to many individuals trying to become landlords and real estate entrepreneurs via bnB business like vrbo. Those people are going to find out itâs not as easy once you determine the costs and taxes of being the owner, and the time commitment. The supply of people looking to do short term rentals will continue to dwindle, cause why pay hundreds of $$ in taxes and fees when you can use those funds on a hotel or even not go on that trip. Revenge travel is starting to sputter and people are looking to leisurely stay at home or find things to do close to home. Itâs much more challenging to find good deals at the resorts here in Phx during the slow season in summer because they have kept prices high, but I can still find some places offering good deals. Got a resort in Scottsdale for $100/night including taxes and fees where the kids can play in the water park. That two day vacation is way better price wise than taking the family to a cabin in the woods for $600, and a lot closer to home. Iâm done with doing vrbo unless itâs with a large group of people going on vacation.

For the AS schools it was a must. Everyone talks about the California schools and thatâs why Colorado, Utah, Washington, Oregon, and Az school left. They want a piece of that pie, and when Saturday football comes on all we see on the networks are sec, big 10, big 12 and so on but no pac 12 games come on. If there are pac 12 it is a USC game. Fuck them, cause their media coverage sucks so go to a power conference that will at least televise you. Itâs a just and righteous move on the part of these pac 12 schools to leave. The PAC 4 have a lot of recruiting to do, or theyâre gone! Itâs looking bleak for the conference of Champions, a league thatâs been around for 100 years.

Thereâs a good amount of truth that lays credence to what is portrayed on this topic. What makes it different this time is highly doubtful any panic selling will ensue since the housing owners in questioned arenât as highly leveraged like we saw in 2006-2009. Any correction will take place slowly, maybe just stagnant over the next decade as these owners wonât be so quick to dump onto the market.
Iâd like to add that there will be many two story homes coming into the market over the next 10-20 years as boomers try to downsize and search for smaller single story residences. This too will be a loooong process, non disruptive to the markets other than premiums offered for single story. Smaller single story homes have always garnered a higher price per sq ft compare to 2 story, going forward they will either get a bigger premium or 2 stories will be sold at a discount. Itâs difficult to paint with a broad brush, ie specific markets will vary. Phx will be different than the Midwest, and west coast will be different than east coast, but in general I think large gyrations in the housing sector will be relatively smooth compared to 2006-2009.
