I'm pro guns, but also pro-responsibility, guns should be locked up, and away from children (those who haven't been taught gun safety), and ROB's.
It's true that many crimes have been deterred by responsible gun owners, but statistically it's the gun owner and family who suffer the most gun shot wounds.

In Canada we usually don't tip the dancer, unless you plan on laying on the stage with a bill in your mouth, and make them work for it.
Depending on the club, they may give you strange looks, but if you were close to the border it might be more common. Americans tips dancers constantly, and if its pay day, they make it "rain" with paper loonies.

I still say that women's hockey shouldn't be an Olympic sport, the Canadian team is amazing, and now the American team is too, but what sort of sport is that with two great teams, and a bunch of lazy-lesbians for the other teams.

I'm going to call this a work of fiction, it lacks so many details, as to seem false. It doesn't hint where it takes place, and when it occurred. Usually these stories are more detailed about the first lap dance, and the first trick turned?
As for being fifty miles away from her library, in many parts of the US, that might be the only strip club around, everyone would have met her from her town, including classmates, teachers, and neighbours.
Lastly she didn't mention her parents and their reaction; wouldn't they want to know how she was able to pay for school, and go to Vegas on a meagre salary?
