Not wide at all londonguy. I held my nose and voted for her as the better alternative (least worst??), but I felt that the Dems had nominated the most divide person they could have. They have done much better this go 'round.

I can honestly say that I have never had a bad time in any club, just more fun in some than in others. Dancers in some clubs are described as "aloof", and too stuck up to dance for (their) money. I just try to project a friendly image, show some willingness to spend, and you know what? It works! The one thing SJG said that I could agree with is "Don't treat them like dancers." As a caveat, I think there is a big difference in how we treat civvies, lol. I will also say that the expectations you have of what constitutes a good time will have a major effect on your perception of the experience

I've driven past it when it was Wild J's and when it was Riverside. I suspect that I'd drive by it again. Your money would be far better spent at Savannah's on Hanna in Harrisburg, daytime in particular.

Never was refused service, but once I refused to serve any more drinks to a customer at our school's booth at a Steelers game. The guy was unable to stand up straight and slurred pretty much every word; he wanted to talk to "my boss" - closest person to that would have been the roving Aramark guy who made sure we were well stocked and running things in a professional manner. One thing that he HAD told us was to avoid serving obviously drunk patrons. There were just too many legal implications for both Aramark and for our high school band parents organization for us to risk serving inebriated customers.

One of my fondest memories was a weeklong stay at Deep Creek Lake in Maryland. We rented a beautiful cottage for a week. One of the best things we did was to take our regular baby sitter with us, which relieved us from a lot of child care duties. One afternoon, we rented a sailboat. Another afternoon, we rented a nice little runabout. It rained several days, but the place had a full-width covered porch with Adirondack chairs and I read through the entire Hornblower series. It was a great time for all.

It's not just one dancer. If she spread the virus to other dancers in the dressing room, and those dancers then took it out on the floor - you have a lovely mini-pandemic. 😟

With that kind of real estate valuation would also come big time real estate taxes, to the point that they may have been only marginally profitable. That would make selling the property very attractive.

I think that she is a good choice. A slightly left leaning centrist, someone who doesn't piss people off and she hits all kinds of minority points - black, south Asian, from the Caribbean and female. Law and order? Former DA of Los Angeles and Attorney General of California. Experience? Elected Senator from California. I think she'll be good for the ticket. ....and I can't wait to watch her hand Pence his head in their debate!
