Normally the only choice I give to strippers is what kind of shot they want. 95+% of the time, they pick tequila or vodka. Once in a while you find a wildcard who goes with whiskey or Fireball or Fernet
The less common times I've let them order a drink instead of a shot, it's been all over the map. Champagne and vodka&soda are popular, but there's been no real pattern

I don't think they run random searches willy nilly, like a butcher whose pork chop cutting is suspect; too much risk for too little purpose. But every LEO I've known runs their strippers, escorts, girlfriends, etc. through a background check, as soon as they can get enough info to do so.

I agree that a quick pole wipedown isn't really an indication of anything. Some of the most giving (haha!) strippers I've known, wiped the pole down so it wasn't all slippery

I'd normally say "excessively expensive" in a heartbeat. Except that in SF, they've taken what I think of as "excessively expensive", and like tripled it. I've been voting with my dollars for years, lower mileage at a lower price (and I have worked the system well enough that my mileage isn't THAT low). "Excessively expensive" by SF, NY, or Vegas standards, no thanks; but like, Dallas or Portland standards, say? Sign me up
