I have buddies for whom going to the SC constitutes cheating on their wives, and they are the kind of guys who don't cheat. I get that.
I don't get anyone else. I will say this though -- when I go out with "amateurs" (non-PLs), I honestly don't quite get it, either. To me, I'm doing that more to bond with my buddies, than because the SC is so fun. I mean, Saturday night sausagefest hours, when the girls are in highest-hustle lowest-contact mode, so just sit around and get hustled by GPS girls? Meh, take it or leave it. By contrast, whenever a guy who is so-so on SCs, comes SCing with me and my buddies, they tend to walk away saying things like, "I had no idea it could be so fun".

Sounds good. You know how I know a woman has ATF or sugarbaby potential with me? We have sex, and then I still want to take her to dinner and hang out. The drive to her is 3 hours one way, or 3 hours round trip? one way is too fucking far. round trip, ain't no thang, IMO.

I start seeing her regularly if:
- she's attractive
- fun at the table
- low hustle and stays at the table through my multi-hour visit
- fun in the back
She might become my CF if she has all of the above, and:
- She's super attractive
- She responds to and keeps appointments
- YMMV in the back
- potentially there's non-business texting and/or nudies sent
- She'll see me OTC
- She's so desirable and intriguing that she's the only girl I care about seeing ITC
She might become an ATF if she does all of the above, and:
- She's open to a more arrangement-like relationship OTC (implies a whole range of things)
- Serious YMMV ITC

chowder: while I"ve never given any stripper "a good chunk", I'm with you in that if I have an ATF who has been over-delivering for a very long time -- and particularly if our relationship has moved to being more arrangement-like -- I've never regretted helping her out.
But, in droid's case, any new stripper asking is insta-fired, and I also wouldn't do this with some run-of-the-mill CF

Paul, I'm surprised offering her a loan hasn't killed some of your CF relationships... the universal experience seems to be that if they can't pay it back (which they often can't), they ghost. I'm not going to do anything that kills a great ATF YMMV dynamic; so if she's earned it, I just gift it to her. Not thinking of it as a loan also helps put an upper limit on how much I'll help
Like I said, I have done an advance on an OTC, but that's as loan-y as I'll go

Under no circumstances, you're an idiot if you do it, and you absolutely deserve the consequences. The outcome is that now she knows you're a weak-minded victim, and she'll go into overdrive preying on you and manipulating you. Eventually you'll figure out that a 21-year-old who barely finished high school easily manipulated you, and rightfully feel like a bitch.
Totally different story with an ATF, who I've known for a long time and shows no signs of being an overt hustler, and is already giving me more YMMV than I think I'm worth. I've done things like send her the payment for the next OTC in advance so she can make her rent, and I've relayed here the story of seeing an old ATF driving around with tires where the steel belts were sticking through and I just gifted her new tires. But if she's an ATF, she's been blowing me away for months; I look at her as a person and am happy to help. The result is commonly that she ups her game even more

Just realized that this is kind of a side advantage of the fact that I do shots (almost) exclusively. Unless it's the bartender or waitress slipping the mickey, it pretty much goes straight from the waitress's hand, to mine and my CF's, and then down the hatch. This is the kinda thing where, maybe you gotta be you. You're a good guy who cares about a young woman. If you feel like you have to do this, go for it.
That said, what you'll almost certainly end up learning is, "no good deed goes unpunished. Especially with strippers". Generally, I'd talk you out of it -- the result won't be that you'll save her. But I also think that ultimately, there's no real harm in having the talk. Worst case, she tells you to fuck off and you are motivated to go find a stripper that isn't an addict.

There was a well-publicized case at one of the big clubs in Vegas a few years back. One of the local SF clubs keeps getting hit with lawsuits around this, but so far there hasn't been enough evidence to nail them... although the stories going around the PL community about this club have been pretty horrible for years.

I have a weird thing about sexy pics: I don't think they "count" if I have to ask for them. Most of my CFs and ATFs have sent me sexy pics and/or short sexy video clips; some sent me quite a few. A few never did. In most cases, I didn't ask for them, although sometimes I do, particularly with the ones who have already shown they're amenable to pics.
Overall, while I've been SCing a long time, I only switched from variety to ATFing 10 years ago (almost exactly), and in that time, have acquired a LOT of great pics and vids. But again, a few girls never sent pics, just not their thing
