-->"IMO the trolls probably have served the purpose of keeping membership down. I followed TUSCL off and on for a few years before becoming a member. As a non-member you can read discussions, but not reviews. The discussion board is so childish, I figured the reviews were worthless, so why join?" I felt exactly the same for years; and that's before the current state, which in the troll cycles feels like the worst I've seen. Aside from ignoring any sort of reality about how forums work and the fact that "just hit the ignore button" has from what I can tell never solved anything in any forum, that's what the "just use the ignore feature" people are missing -- ignore helps those who are here already, it doesn't address the fact that it's pretty likely scores of great contributors have probably looked at the shit show, and not joined at all because of it. That's pretty big, to me -- it's a missed opportunity that this place drives people away instead of pulling them in. Founder has been consistent on his view, so again, I think we're mostly just engaging in some blowing off steam

-->"Okay, so if theoretically there was a mod, how would one go about it to prevent it turning into an echo chamber? " I'm not sure this is something worth agonizing over... I can't even count how many forums I've been on over the years, it's a non-issue, except on forums where they specifically try to do this. Of course, I can see why someone with a lot to lose of the troll personas get targeted, might want to throw up a red herring or two :) but that's all it is -->"If one wants to attempt to appeal to founder for moderators, (my guess is) the easiest way would be to *convince* him that he would get to deal with less complaints like this thread. " Probably not difficult to show him lots of forums that run better, with light moderation. But I don't think that's the issue at all. Founder just thinks it isn't worth his time either way, he doesn't care that this place runs like shit at times, and isn't as convinced as I am that a high quality forum could attract lots of paying or reviewing members, and lots and lots of eyeballs. That's what we'd have to convince him of -- that it's worth putting in much effort into a forum at all, for any reason. I don't think that's going to happen, so at this point, this is just a venting thread. Hey, I'm onboard!

-->"The ignore function is all that most people need to fix this problem." This is just repeated by rote, when in the history of the interwebs, I don't think it's ever worked. If it were actually practical, the forum wouldn't be such a shit show. QED. Moreover, even if we lived in a fantasy world where all the experienced users used ignore all over the place, that does nothing to address the fact that we've gotta be scaring away a ton of new users who just peek in. Meanwhile, moderation has basically addressed the issues just fine, in a zillion other forums and discussion groups. As long as it's not the heavy-handed Stripper Web type moderation that does create a forum consensus view that no one is allowed to deviate from -- but that isn't hard to avoid, and in the case of Stripper Web, it's something they were evidently purposely going for.

-->"Would there be a way to utilize Nice's idea #1 on individual posts" Reddit works because actual users outnumber trolls 100s or 1000s to 1. In here, the ratio is more like 1:1, and the trolls are incredibly highly motivated. Nor should an OP be allowed to pick out responses he doesn't like, just because they're in disagreement or whatever. Ignoring can work in theory for established members, but does nothing for new people just checking out the forum, who potentially might be great new contributors, but who (rightfully) just leave because it's such a shit show.

I'm in the wee minority, but I have always thought, and continue to think, the forum badly needs a moderator(s). With so many local sex forums shut down, this could be *the* place to come for discussion about SCs, and actual non-troll discussion could lead to more eyeballs, reviews, VIP memberships. On the other hand, maybe I'm radically over-estimating the place; threads about what kind of cake should I eat get scores of replies, and guys posting on-topic discussion get attacked, so maybe that's what the majority really wants to talk about

Reliability of strippers vs sugar babies?
-->"Once you get a regular relationship going with a sugar baby are they still unreliable?" Lots of incredibly unreliable sugarbabies out there, which is why everything leading up to the meet & greet is so insanely flakey. Once you get to that point, how reliable your sugarbaby is is completely up to you. If you only go with reliable sugarbabies, then she'll be reliable. Pick a stripper, flakey struggling girl, or similar to be your sugarbaby, then you'll have an unreliable sugarbaby. How reliable your sugarbaby is depends on your choices.

I love a stripper that knows how to use her body to draw your attention
Yep. Also enjoy the girls who, when leaning over to ask one customer for a dance, have the arched back and posing to catch everyone else's attention. Guys do watch those interactions, another reason for the girls to be nice through the entire interaction

My middle name happens to be Finesse. At the risk of confirming how creepy I am, my usual wording is something along the lines of, "Totally understand, thanks anyway. If you do decide you're ready someday, and want to start more slowly, I'm happy to start off with XYZ. Just let me know!" (where XYZ = BJ, HJ, anal, rusty trombone, dirty sanchez, cleveland steamer, or some other activity that isn't vaginal intercourse).

-->"Sub yes follies girls do $10 HJ in your pants at your table.. Its crazy but amazing" Ha, I was joking! By contrast, the unofficial asking price for a HJ at MBOT was $200 ... back in the year 2000. I'd often talk them down to $140-$160. I stopped going in 2007 because prices went well past that, at least with the girls I was interested in. I can see the attraction of follies

If that were true, didn't you do that when you asked for OTC or extras in the first place? Why is "I'd be fine with a BJ" the part that's creepy? Especially since it seems to be true that it's "intercourse ITC" rather than "HJ ITC" that turns out to be the real limit? I mean, it is specifically the sex expectation that's a limit -- I don't think of saying that you're okay with out, being "pushing". In any case, maybe this is a case of different perspectives

Is the risk of a BBBJ worth it when married?
Fuck no, a BBBJ is not worth it when married, if you value your marriage. Many married guys seem to subconsciously wish to get caught, and putting her at risk seems like a particularly pernicious way to do that. Anyway, covered-only, or skip the BJs entirely if you don't like covered, is my usual rule (ya, I've broken the rule at times)

I gotcha, I just honestly don't see it at all... a question, why is this any different than negotiating the price on an extra? Or any other negotiation?

Really?? I'm surprised... she's uncomfortable, offer to do something less. I've had some amazing experiences, and the strippers seem fine with it -- they say no, or seem fine with the shallower learning curve. I dunno, maybe I have a tin ear to creepy on this one... but you'd think the strippers would go running if THEY thought it was creepy (and honestly, it's only their opinion that matters to me on this one).

-->"She said she was anxious to start because of the money. I asked why not now and she said she is still learning how to VIP. " You guys who are only interested in FS are stuck. But, I had some amazing luck getting new strippers to do extras ITC (back when I went to extras clubs) and reluctant strippers to do OTC, by lowering the sexual expectations -- I'd be willing to do a BJ or get talked down to a HJ, all at fair prices for those respective acts. A good show of not being creepy, and her being able to believe your lower expectations, is safer not-too-steep learning curve many reluctant strippers are happy to take advantage of. Bonus: sometimes, not always, once we were doing the extra iTC or OTC, she'll be comfortable enough that she herself would suggest an upgrade. I am fine with a BJ or HJ, so enjoyed it for its own sake, but the upgrade offer was not uncommon. Plus I get an extra thrill knowing she so's so new.

larry-->"Interesting player, I hadn’t thought of the OTC aspect. I wonder with those ones that were doing OTC while they were stripping, if they continue to do OTC when they retire from stripping? Or are they just done with everything?" If they are making a full break, no. Many times, the stripper herself is hedging her bets, isn't really sure she's making a clean break. Every time, I've continued to OTC in that type of situation. I once had a fave who quit the club but who I knew was terrified of trying to make it in the real world. I guess to hedge her bets, she kept OTCing with me for about 2 months, until she got a civilian job she was happy with, then she ghosted. -->"In certain cases, I’d think the dancer would simply destroy her business phone, and drop the service. " Exactly. Well, not "destroy her business phone" literally, but drop her google voice number. Often, her best regulars will have her real number, not her google voice number, and in those cases, I've seen them just get an entirely new "real" phone number also.

Many strippers do, indeed, remove everyone in their life that reminds them of stripping. I have a few ATFs where we kept in touch for years afterwards. I liked them when they were strippers, still like them and like keeping in touch with them now that they're not.

-->" If you have to demand one it will probably only be a few bucks and the customer will feel hustled. Not worth it" Some strippers have told me their policy is - Don't ask club regulars for tips. Regulars can be a long-term source of income, and risking that for a $20 tip isn't worth it. And even if they don't become your regular, they're more likely to be assertive and say no. - Do ask transient customers, guys-night-out guys, etc. for tips. Even if they feel hustled and don't come back, well they probably weren't going to come back anyway, they're less likely to say "no" even if they don't want to tip you, and those $20 tips can add up. I don't have an opinion on whether it's worth asking transient customers, but can definitely see the point about not asking club regulars.
