Definitely agree that girls who retire completely try to make a complete break -- but when they do so, nearly 100% of the time they change their phone number so you can't contact them anyway (to lone wolf's point). On the other hand, these girls don't always make sense. One of my ATFs knew I was crazy about her, she knew I wanted to see her, never contacted me, and when I finally texted her 1.5-2 years later, she jumped at the chance to meet me again. These girls don't always make sense.
To me, that means there's no harm in contacting her. If she's left the biz, he won't hear back and she probably has an entirely new number anyway. But there's a chance he'll hear back. Why didn't she contact him if she knew he would be open to it? Because stripper logic

Agree. Good that you stuck to your guns Paul, but the protocol at every club I've ever been to has always been that once you get to the lapdance area, she'll sit and talk to you until the next song starts, then she dances. If you just want to sit and talk, don't walk with her to the lapdance area. And this is from someone who often talks and drinks with the girls for an hour before going for a dance... but once we head to the dance area, that's for dancing. If she won't talk to you at the table even if you offer to buy her a drink, then dismiss her right there, no unpleasantness need happen in the lapdance area

Unless the guys are right that you're a RIL about to backslide, there's no downside in contacting your old ATF. Worst that happens is she ignores you or tells you to stop bugging her. So what?
I would respectfully disagree with Cristobal ... I've made re-contact with strippers who I've lost contact with, and the results were fantastic. There's the comfort and trust from the earlier relationship, with added excitement as you re-discover and re-build things. Totally recommend it.

AGree with you about STarbucks. For being upscale coffee, it is genuinely badly done. I don't think it's things like the equipment or raw materials like beans, it seems to be poor roasting and then it goes from there. The stuff is only drinkable as a coffee-flavored liquid donut, which might account for the zillion variations of coffees that include caramel, whipped cream, etc. Their straight espresso shots are not good, and their drip coffee is downright terrible.
On the other hand, put in enough steamed milk and sugar, and it's fine, I suppose

Taking steps that ensure that SC video cameras can't easily trace you back through your car, is definitely far more caution than I felt warranted even when I was married -- but I also don't feel it's in tinfoil hat territory, either. If it helps you sleep at night and makes you happier at the club, doesn't sound like it's too terribly annoying to do

There's good aficionado-wise and good guy-who-hates-anything-bitter-wise :) Seriously, I'm going to guess that you'll load up your coffee with cream and sweetener (I call it the coffee-flavored liquid donut :), in which case, I find the chains mostly the same. Starbucks is easily my least-favorite, Peet's is better. Truly great coffee is made at home, or by smaller chains or independent shops, but I think that once you're putting in cream and sweetener, it really levels the playing field, like if you're drinking margaritas instead of straight tequila there's a point where the fruit juice and syrups overwhelm the quality of the tequila. In my area, you can get great coffee from Philz or Blue Bottle, both of which have multiple stores, but they're still small -- your area has similar shops. If you want to do a little research for your area, go on yelp or google with "third wave coffee shop" as the search phrase, and you'll probably have a better chance of running into really good coffee.

Keurig is shit coffee. But a lot of guys love Pabst, and Keurig is the Pabst of coffee. Then again, coffee is one of the few things I'm a snobbish about as beer ... I almost never use a drip machine, as those make the Miller & Coors equivalent of coffee, but do sometimes use one.

My average is 3-5 hours. My record long trip was 12 hours. But that was: 1. with another buddy of mine, 2. with breaks for lunch and dinner, 3. if I remember right, over 3 or 4 clubs

In any of the non-extras clubs I go to, doing so would be grounds for firing. There is a "light extras" club here that, once I became a regular, it was no problem leaving with the girls (to take them drinking on their break, to take them home after their shift) or showing up with them (to walk them back after we've been drinking, and for one particular ATF, to walk her in for the beginning of her shift). Pretty unique situation, I always thought -- I've never heard of another club where no fucks are given about girls coming and leaving with customers, even if it was informally restricted to known regulars

I should note that TunnelBear is one of the few free VPNs I'd recommend -- it's got a strict no-logging policy and no data leaks detected even by independent auditors, whose results TB publishes. Fantastic choice if you use less than 500MB/month, because it's free (if not the fastest VPN in the world) at that level. Since I only use a VPN on public wifi, and am only going to low bandwidth sites like tuscl, I stay at the free level. Above 500MB or for faster speeds, you have to pay, which is the case with most no-logging no-leaks VPNs (which is expected, VPN infrastructure is expensive, so a purely free VPN has to make money somehow).
