Personally I've steered clear of SW because of the various comments I've read here. So I have no specific insight regarding the honesty, integrity or nature of posts there but I am struck by two specific comments made by Mr Rickdugan namely "members refrain from personal attacks" and "don't act like a fucking child" both of which we could use a heaping helping of around here IMHO.
I find this site to be interesting, enlightening, entertaining, and enjoyable but it can also be frustrating and discouraging at times especially when a topic gets hijacked by individual(s) bent on flaming another member for reasons unknown.
I'm not on the pro-moderator side of the argument mind you I just think we could do a better job of keeping things from cycling into personal attacks and flame wars.

@jerikson I limit my alcohol and since I'm usually in a club for 3 or 4 hours I stretch it out over a pretty long time span so I don't ever leave a club intoxicated when I'm driving. There have been a couple occasions where I was taking a taxi that I got a little shit faced but never when I'm driving.
I have however seen guys pounding drinks and stagger out to their cars at closing so even if I'm stone cold sober we still have to contend with the assholes who can't or don't show restraint. Frankly I'm surprised that LE doesn't just park outside clubs and scoop up the fish before they hit the roads.

You'd run the same gauntlet that we all do if a moderator is sanctioned. If he/she gets a hard on for you you're just as SOL as anyone else.
I'm in the keep it self moderated camp.
We should collectively be able to police our shit and in some instances a healthy dose of don't play their game is all that is needed IMHO.

I'm at a distinct disadvantage in this area because I seldom drink more than 2 or 3 beers or a couple glasses of champagne when I go out. I don't like the loss of control that goes along with drinking to excess so no, drink specials don't have a bearing on my SC decisions.

Interesting research Mr Jerikson I'll have to read some that stuff when I get to something other than my phone. One point I would make however is regarding the backlash effect of prosecuting "ne'er-do-wells." when I managed a chain of retail outlets in the 80s we had a 100% prosecution policy and we actually took kids to juvi court over stealing things like shoelaces. The idea wasn't about recouping our lost revenue but rather establishing a precedent that if you stole from us you were going to jail (court) so we could leverage that reputation to promote FUD in the minds of people who might be inclined to do us harm.
The same approach would go for SCs in that once they established the reputation for coming down hard on guys like the PL they could relax a little bit because and the cycle begins again.

Fuck what do you expect I was drunk as shit and all pumped up on pussy and I thought for sure that I was finally going to get some OTC FS but Noooooooo that douche bag decides to fucking rob me right in front of my lady friends. Jerikson your complete lack of understanding of what it MEANS to be a "slave" is remarkable. The very fact that one SUBMITS to being a slave means that they give up that inherent manliness that you so glibly argue is missing from those of us who bothered to reply to the actual post instead of acting like a playground bully calling people names.
Lots of very powerful people literally submit to another's complete control and give up the virtual right to make their own decisions. Deciding 10 or 20 or 30 minutes into a session that you are going to "man up" and take control is totally out of bounds and frankly one would question why they were pretending to give over control. People who practice that type of roll playing are pretty serious about it and wouldn't take kindly to a poser. That having been said there is also the concept of "safe" words (usually colors) to keep things from getting out of hand but that very premiss of what is out of hand is very individual.
So before you skip down the lane calling people pussies or anything else take a deep breath, go look in mirror and remind yourself that you are a handsome, smart, loving man and then reply to the post ON TOPIC and perhaps with out lambasting someone for having an opinion different from your own and I guarantee you that people here will stop ragging on you. I'm dead serious about this. Think about it.

IMHO the potential BDSM aspects are not a deterrent but rather the "Slave" scenario poses other challenges like for example "drink my piss" or "suck my boyfriend's cock" and I've seen/heard of much worse. There's a difference in the alternative lifestyle world between domination (i.e. master/slave) and bondage (i.e. S&M) although it can be subtle. I did a fair amount of research for a story I wrote and it was eye opening.
I'm sure that I'm over thinking this and to be invited to be an attractive young woman's (read Ms Duo's) "sex slave" would probably be tantamount to "Eat me! Fuck me! Eat me again!" sort of arrangement so one would be crazy to say no.

The couple times I've done this I handled it the same way Mr Ermita described. In all but one instance the experience was fucking awesome and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
My only caution would be--and you already know this I'm sure--that you set the proper expectations about finances before you take off on your trip.
BTW one of my weekend get aways was St Lucia and that was a total blast.
