Messages can be therapeutic; especially with the beating those NFLers take – I would think his reasons for getting messages are for therapeutic reasons.
A lot of professional body builders also get messages b/c of all the strain they put their muscles under.
Wouldn't it have been considerably more economical to just hire a personal masseuse?
