I think there are two things mentioned in the OP and they don’t necessarily go hand in hand. The title of the thread is about strippers looking for info. I think there are plenty of gals here doing just that. As with any biz, some will be inclined to use a place like this as a resource and others won’t care or feel the need to spend their time on it. But there are plenty of dancers here and the vast majority rarely, if ever, post. As far as more tit pics, sure, we’d love the eye candy. But unlike a dancer being on here to glean info, what would motivate them to be generous in showing off the titties here? Think of any other profession, say an accountant. A small percentage of them may maintain a website with some general articles. But an accountant gets paid by their knowledge in keeping organized track of finances as well as tax law. The accountant expects to be paid for anything beyond a bit of general info. A stripper makes money showing herself naked. What would motivate her to give that away here, knowing she’s going to get some dumb fucks and assholes giving her shit without making a buck?

I have no problem with her withdrawing. I don’t walk a mile in her shoes. Neither does anyone else.

I’m not sure why but I just haven’t been interested at all, so I haven’t been watching.

As a general rule, I don’t give advice unless asked or it comes up naturally in a conversation. My same thinking applies if I’m interacting with sex workers. I’ve given welcomed advice and helped a few times. And I’ve been given welcomed advice from them at times. Generally though, I avoid taking on that role unless I’m quite confident they really want to know what I think.

I realize strip clubs are their own world in some ways. But I try to follow the same general guidelines I’d follow in the outside world when it comes to spending in the club. So if I’ve consumed the stage show, up close or distant, I think I should tip a reasonable amount. But i don’t know of any other business where I would tip beyond that based on begging, harassing, demanding or scolding. I don’t blame the dancers for trying to hustle up dollars. It’s the nature of how things are in clubs. And I think I am an above average tipper of my own volition. But I go to clubs to relax and enjoy myself. I’m already thinking with my dick and have decided to drop a decent amount of money. It’s soul sucking and kills the vibe for me if I think I’m being pushed excessively. Again, it’s the nature of clubbing. After a certain point, however, I’m just going to leave that club.

I used to buy multiple newspapers daily. Now I do it often enough to be able to start a fire in my wood stove or start the coals in my charcoal chimney. And I’m a news junkie as well but it’s mostly consumed through a screen nowadays. For me, I think there are two downsides to going digital for news. First, as El Duderino said, I used to be more up on sports. I would study the box scores, standings, stats and so forth. It was an enjoyable way to start my day. Now, I tend to browse a strip club site instead. Second, I need to very consciously make myself unplug from time to time. I realize how addicted I am to the fucking screen when I do and I’m not happy about that. I also think that the echo chamber danger that others have mentioned is real. But I’ve always sought out a wide variety of sources and viewpoints and am slow to draw conclusions just because someone expressed something. So if anything, online information has caused me to become even more skeptical and cautious about viewpoint bias than I was in the days of print.

She underperforms in my mind. By that I mean she is wealthy but markets herself as so called trailer park trash and it’s all so transparently fake. Good for her making bucks of the schtick but she’s not as attractive overall as she’d otherwise be and could be in my opinion. That’s what I mean by underperforming. She’s still good looking but not all that alluring in any way. But I realize I’m not her target audience.

I guess I’ve never given it much thought but I’m guessing it’s more frequent than one might think. From a scheduling standpoint it would make some sense.

A number of years ago I apparently had a cop look about me. Idiotically, I made a joke to a dancer about the heavy presence of fun police in the club because the bouncers seemed more attentive than usual. My stupid comment shut me down for the night.

Overall around here, I’ve noticed a pretty significant weight gain and a decline in talent. Things are always changing so maybe that’s temporary or just my bad luck.

I think there is a cornfield in Iowa somewhere that supposedly would support a baseball team… Other than that, I’ve wondered if the A’s might move to Charlotte.

Between the two choices, I would also say the body wins over the face. A really cute face tends to subconsciously up my view of the body, I suppose, and the cute face at least gets me noticing her. But i will go home early if I’m not seeing at least a few decent bodies in the club.

For a first timer, I’d say have fun, don’t be an asshole and don’t be intimidated by being in a new setting. Everything else varies and you’ll figure it out as you go.

I wish hotels would rethink the continental breakfast a bit. I would think they could still keep it simple with some healthier basic items. But maybe they have done their market research and determined that the carb/sugar blast and maybe some greasy sausage is what fills their rooms.

Yeah, one of the good things about summer.
