Dolfan, I try to weave Nietzsche into every strip club conversation that I can. Not that I fully understand the guy but I figure it makes me seem smarter than I actually am. Nietzsche is the former middle linebacker of the Green Bay Packers, right?

This thread got me thinking about how often I actually know the milf status of a dancer. I typically don’t ask and I don’t imagine all the moms will divulge that info. Some pretty readily do but I know of several dancers who didn’t mention it until I got to know them much better because they wanted to keep their private lives private. Also, I don’t take everything I hear as gospel anyway. I shade some of my own info because I consider it too personal and I assume dancers do the same. I apologize in that my comment is tangential to the OP but, thinking about it, I’m not sure I very often know the actual parental status of these gals. I do look for a certain personality vibe that seems to reflect a certain amount of maturity but it’s not dependent on whether they actually have a kid.

Studme, I had a similar experience except the dancer pulled out a towel from underneath the pillow that she apparently kept back there for that purpose. Probably not quite as gross as using the pillow itself. But I felt bad for the cotton fibers that gave their lives to be used as a Petri dish.

My schoolboy crush on Endlessblahbambinaspice is more like a 6th grade crush rather than a 7th grade crush. And it’s debatable whether I am either mature or successful. Aside from that, point 6 is well taken. And thanks for the thread, Motorhead. Good stuff.

I find it better to make myself the target of my own jokes, especially around someone I don’t know well.

I don’t think you can go wrong either way. If you don’t feel like going into a club for whatever reason, don’t go into a club. Save your money. Enjoy it some other way. If you feel like getting back into clubbing, have at it. I’ve been vaxxed and am reasonably healthy and I avoid a few crowded venues that I never enjoyed in the first place but I also have gotten on with life end enjoy occasional clubbing and don’t think twice about it. But that doesn’t mean you need to approach it the same way I or anyone else here does.

I like enough chit chat to get a sense of her personality before going further. There are plenty of hot women dancing and plenty that are personable and fun. But there are mannequins too. I’m very respectful of a dancer’s time and won’t waste it. But I don’t want to waste my money either on a cold connection. I should add that I don’t tend to club during peak times so a little time spent talking is usually the norm anyway.

^. I agree with the neutral place, cup of coffee thing, if you consider him a friend IRL rather than a customer. Having been knocked down a few times with health issue, I can tell you that a cup of coffee with a friend Is a really meaningful gesture. This all assumes you regard him as more than just a custie. And if he is playing you for sympathy (I doubt it), meeting for coffee is no big deal. If I’m reading you incorrectly and he is just a regular custie but nothing more, then I think your kind expressions have been the right way to handle it. He needs his loved ones, not an entertainer acquaintance at this point.
