Sometimes there are very nice clubs that don't attract any dancers while a nearby dump may have a whole bunch of dancers - makes one wonder what's going on behind the scenes for dancers to not wanna work at a nice club - I get the catch-22 thing but one would think if a nice club attracts dancers that the PLs would follow

Wasn't the AMP place where the shootings took place next to this club? Might the AMP and club have the same owners and thus the city sees them as problematic and wants them gone?

They're probably tied up in legal work or trying to bribe the right people - my gut feeling is someone wants that piece of real-estare for redevelopment and wants the club outta there - I assume Atlanta is growing like many other cities in the sunbelt

^ kinda inevitable - if people feel they can't depend on the police (bc they've been hamstrung); and/or the justice-system and politicians; one is not left with many options - if criminals don't fear the police or justice-system they may start thinking twice when civilians aggressively start defending themselves - right now it's Christmas for many criminals in progressive-blue-cities

Tuesday Night Visit to Mpire in Washington DC in 2022
“… I visited Mpire … because I saw the reviews online and it was supposed to be one of Washington DC's better strip clubs …” I assume by “reviews online” you mean non-TUSCL reviews like Google or Yelp – Google/Yelp, and similar-reviews, are often written by amateur-custies that are not hardcore strip-clubbers (SCers) like TUSCLers are – Google/Yelp reviews are often written by infrequent SCers and/or “SCers” that often go to strip-clubs for different reasons; i.e. for many non-hardcore/infrequent SCers, a “good club” is often different than what TUSCLers consider a good club – Google/Yelp reviewers are often looking for a party and for them a “good club” is usually a club with good music; good ambiance; maybe good-food; and making-it-rain; whereas TUSCLers generally consider a good club a club where good mileage can be had; and why this is only the 2nd review of this club this year; b/c TUSCLers don’t consider this a good club – furthermore; most TUSCLers know that lap-dances are not allowed in D.C. clubs (city ordinance) although some clubs get around it like The House but even at The House it seems you have to go to the upstairs-balcony that is out-of-sight in order to get decent-dances – D.C. clubs have traditionally not allowed dances; perhaps a club or two may be somewhat allowing them post-Covid b/c there may be less-enforcement but D.C. clubs are not the place to go for mileage; only if you like to party in the club and making-it-rain.

    Your favorite sports announcers
Bob Uecker is hilarious - I didn't know he was still alive and less-so that he was still active in the game - back in the day it was more common to see him in TV-commercials but I don't recall the last time I saw him in one and why I thought he was either no-longer-with-us or retired - I also haven't followed baseball much in the last 10-years.

    Your favorite sports announcers
There have been many great announcers – I rarely pay much attention to who’s announcing the game – the only two that come to mind that I genuinely enjoyed listening to were John Madden and Tony Romo – Madden b/c he was a larger-than-life character – Romo b/c of how good he was at diagnosing-plays and predicting which play the team would run and why. The one I can’t stand at the moment is that woke-ish cocksucker Chris Collinsworth – I liked him as a player and at-first as an announcer the way he’d break-down-plays; but then he started getting a little woke-ish and now I can’t stand to listen to his ass. Back in the day I used to like watching the Tour De France but lost the habit of watching-it in the last few years – but I like Phil Liggett who has been announcing The Tour for the last 50-years.

IMO places like Detroit and Miami are good if extras are a must – IMO places/clubs that are very-extras-heavy are at times not that good w.r.t. just-getting-dances and/or overall-dancer-attention – if extras are not a must then perhaps other areas that offer other things while still offering decent dance-mileage, may be a better overall option. Depending on your flexibility; i.e. you're just there to club; TX has the advantage that one could hit multiple good SC cities (Dallas; Austin; Houston) – but of course that would require road-tripping within the state and having the desire/time/ability to do so (not to mention these cities are also Cubana-heavy these days but there should be better variety than SoFlo); and these cities are not as extras-heavy – same for FL if one watned-to/could do road-tripping; i.e once could hit SoFlo; Cocoa Beach; Tampa/Pasco area; etc.

South Florida has multiple clubs worth hitting - downsides are: + mostly non-English-speaking Cuban dancers (i.e. not a lot of dancer ethnic variety) + smoking in clubs + traffic is bad - can be an issue if clubbing in the afternoon b/w 3 and 6:30 especially if having to use the highway - shouldn't be too big an issue if clubbing at night

    The importance of maintaining discipline
I can def see an OTC girl being more worried about not being paid; and actually having more instances of not being paid; per the what I posted above w.r.t. not having the club to back her up; etc - i.e. OTC she's basically on her own. w.r.t. ITC: I usually let her know upfront b/f agreeing to VIP that I don't pay till the end; but I can see this being more problematic w.r.t. setting up OTC.

    The importance of maintaining discipline
“Once bitten twice shy” “The best way to get screwed in any business transaction is to pay 100% of the balance before completion of the job” I’ve often posted that I pretty-much have a zero-tolerance-policy w.r.t. upfront-payment – w.r.t. ITC, the clubs I hit don’t have a prepay requirement except for the room-fee; so it can be risky if the dancer implements this requirement – paying upfront is no guarantee one will get shafted; but doing-so leaves one with no leverage and completely at the mercy/whim of the dancer – I haven’t paid upfront too-many times; but of the few times I did, enough of them turned out to be ROB,s or dancers that sucked and why they wanted the $$$ upfront – this is why I also never agree to multiple dances upfront. If a dancer already has your $$$, then she doesn’t have any $kin in the game – if a PL has already paid for a VIP room; then he already has some skin in the game and money to lose; i.e. not as likely he’s not willing to pay – having said this, just as much as it sucks for custies to have their $$$ taken, so does for dancers – the best I’ll do is show them I have the $$$; which is no guarantee for them; but at least it’s something and it’s the best I’ll do – it can be argued that paying half upfront is a viable compromise; and it may be; but I abstain from this also – let’s say we agree on $400; in my mind it’s worthwhile for the ROB to walk away w/ an-easy-$200 w/o having to do anything; than put out for the whole $400. Most of my PL-experience is ITC – I’ve never been much of an OTCer – in the case of OTC I might be more tempted to pay the $$$ upfront b/c: + ITC she has the staff/bouncers to back her up w.r.t. non-payment – no guarantee she would get the $$$; but plenty of inexperienced PLs get easily intimidated via this factor and many dancers count on this + me liking variety; ITC I can easily pass on a dancer demanding-upfront-payment and get w/ another one or just hit another club So “in my mind” w.r.t. OTC there is less of a chance for her to not follow thru once she has your payment but then again many PLs have more to lose w.r.t. making a scene in a hotel and possibly having the cops called whereas the ROB may not give a f***; etc. So w.r.t. ITC I pretty-much have a zero-tolerance upfront-payment b/c the dancer then holds all the cards and she will usually have the club to back her up – OTC I’d likely wouldn’t be as militant about it but then again I haven’t done much of it and haven’t really been burned as I have ITC.

IMO there needs to be another way to capture/document the club details for those that think this is important and should be readily available – this way we can avoid the repeating of details for those that already know the details; but have those details available for those that need-them/want-them and like to provide them.

IMO the basics of the strip club are: + dancer looks – and not just give a general “they were hot”; but describe the dancer-crew via several characteristics so the reader better knows what to expect if they visit + costs – this not only helps for budgeting and know how much it takes to have a good time, but just as much helps in not overpaying and/or not getting ripped-off + mileage available – that way someone unfamiliar w/ the club knows what can be had in the club and what is not allowed and one can better make a determination w.r.t. hitting/not-hitting a particular club depending on what’s typically offered/not-offered IMO those are the basics that likely covers the biggest swath of readers – but I try to avoid down-voting a review if it o/w has some useful info even if it doesn't cover all the basics – when in doubt I tend to approve if it has some useful info; or at least abstain from voting, if I’m on the fence – while I believe dance-mileage and prices are important for most readers and should be included, it’s not an absolute must-have b/c just like I don’t expect for every reviewer to do VIP/extras and thus be able to offer that info; likewise I don’t expect for every reviewer to get dances and be able to report on that – it’s just that “most” of the time the reviews missing this info tend to have very little info and are often generic with not much worthwhile info.

I’m not one for censorship such as when there have been threads stating that if you start a thread you should be able to be block others from posting on it if you want – I like/prefer Founder’s hands-off approach but w/ this some people will take advantage – if there is one person that should have their review-voting privileges revoked is @scrub b/c he just indiscriminately shits on reviews just b/c he can and is allowed to - @scrub BS doesn’t really bother me (at worst one can just put him on Ignore); the biggest-issue w/ @scrub’s antics is how many people he may be turning-off from TUSCL that can o/w be good contributors (or become good contributors). Just like we all don’t have the same tastes when it comes to SCing, we are all not gonna have the same tastes when it comes to reviews – I agree with having to repeat the same details, often being a waste of time: I wish there site had a good way where the club-details could be *well* captured so TUSCLers that needed that info could refer to it; and then let the review just be about the visit w/o having to hit all the club-details – but in-lieu of there being a *good* way to capture the club details other than a review; I feel the details need to be included (and repeated) – reality is many reviewers will put the minimal effort into a review just to get the free-VIP; others just put the details important to them (including reviews that are solely love-letters of their favorite dancer) – so in-lieu of a good alternative way to capture the club details; then IMO/IME most reviews start tilting towards scant details w/ many reviewers using the old excuse of “hey it’s been document a 1000 times” – the more that excuse is used, the harder it becomes to have good reviews of clubs that contain enough details for those unfamiliar to the reader. But this is neither here or there – we’ve had these discussions b/f and everyone just stays in their camp of how reviews should be written.

    Blue Flame 🔥
This club is “popular” with the party-crowd; not with the hardcore strip-club crowd which is what most on this site are and why this club doesn’t get many reviews. This club is for: 1) those that like to go to strip-clubs mainly to party (drink; throw $$$; etc) 2) eye-candy – these types of clubs tend to have the better-looking girls that can make $$$ w/o having to give mileage/contact as in other clubs On peak nights many of these clubs tend to charge high-ass cover/parking charges where one can be down almost $100 by the time you sit down and get your first drink w/o even having been able to touch a tit – and in these clubs you will likely not get much attention unless you’re indiscriminately throwing $$$ like all the other partiers – i.e. these type of clubs are poor ROI for real/serious strip-clubbers and why they don’t get a lot of attention on TUSCL.

What did 50 Cent do when he got hungry? 58.
    Small place, big girls
I was in West Palm in the Fall of 2021 and decided to do a drive-by this place on a late afternoon around 5pm(ish) – the physical location is kinda odd; if I remember correctly the entrance faces the main-street but there is an alley behind the club where there seemed to be “some” parking but not much – I ended up parking for free around the corner (if exiting the club this parking would be to one’s left in the corner next to a restaurant where there seemed to be some public spaces for no charge and I didn’t get the sense they belonged to the restaurant either; anyway I parked in those spaces and didn’t have an issue). I went inside on this weekday late-afternoon and it was pretty-dead w/ hardly any dancers and the girl I saw on stage was an older heavy-set Latina – I didn’t even sit-down and just walked back out after taking a look at things (and I’m one that tends to like dives). I had also driven by Ultra on this afternoon and although it’s a better club in terms of more room and parking; it too was dead and there too I was in-and-out. IMO these clubs are not worth hitting unless one is just curious and wants to see them with their own eyes and one doesn’t mind wasting the drive/time going to it – perhaps on a peak night like a Fr or Sat night there may be something to one’s liking but IMO your chances of striking out are greater than it being worth your time – IMO in West Palm the only club that is consistent is Cheetah Palm Beach – i.e. clubs like this one and others in West Palm I’d personally only hit having a backup-plan to go someplace else vs making them my destination for the night.

More like Booty Trap on the River
Their sister club in Doral charges $50 cover; so it seems this club is doing the same thing although it was not clear from the review. Pre-Covid this club had turned into a 24-hour-club and these types of clubs tend to be slow on dayshift and even early eve (there Doral sister-club supposedly has a bigger dayshift dancer-crew) – these 24hr spots usually don’t get going till at last 10pm and aren’t up to full-speed till after midnight and on weekends can be the busiest in the wee-hours of the morning from people coming from other venues to end their night of partying (i.e. on a weekend night it can be busier at 5am than at midnight). Most of the dancers in SoFlo clubs are Cuban and they will often make a beeline for Anglo-guys since they see them as easier marks especially out-of-towners – this club being the nearest to the airport likely gets a fair # of tourists and these are often chum for the sharks in this and other SoFlo clubs – this is likely why you got the hard tagteam-press as soon as you walked in – one should always be dubious of the tagteam chicks b/c they are often hustlers and the tagteam-dances are rarely worth it (one pays 2x but may not even get 1x the fun) – I hope you didn’t end up paying $50/dance for the first chick that tried to tagteam you. One also has to be careful w.r.t. being in "tourist mode" when hitting these clubs - some of these girls will pick your pocket while the tourist is in la-la-land just focused on having a good time.
