Nichelle Nichols, Star Trek’s Lt. Uhura, Passed Away

I wasn't much of a Star Trek fan growing-up; I watched a bit of it bc back in the day you kinda watched w/e was on TV.

Cool she was able to get a role in a popular show like that given the fewer opportunities people of color had back then.

I had no idea she was 89 years old, but she was cool in Star Trek, May her memory be a blessing to her loved ones
