I agree with almost all the points you made but I also think that Stiletto25's approach is more reflective of the way lots of good clubs work. The key is that the competition should never generate drama that is apparent to or involving the customer. I break most speed records out of the door when that happens to me.
BTW - your pics are amazing!
Thanks

Great article, Avalon7. Thanks for all the good advice.
One thing: we've had some cars broken into and ransacked for hidden cash, cards and other stuff.
I often stash valuables in my car when going into clubs but I do it before I get to the club and I stash in a really inconvenient place to access if you were in a hurry - like under the spare tire.
I also divide my cash into packets that I keep in different pockets in my pants and shirt.
Thanks again for some useful info

I liked the article, but there was a bump between the third and the fourth paragraph that took a second to stay with. But it was good, particularly for a first shot.
Instead of attributing the qualities in the 4th Parag. to "clients" - it would be fascinating if you started a gallery of different Clients and what the average dancer's take on each is.

This is great stuff.
You mentioned the risk to our dignity as perhaps the most serious. I agree, but I'd also appreciate your expanding on that. Is it a sort of corrosive effect on our sense of self?
And innoo123 - The dancer knows what is happening and has entered the situation as an adult participant. Unless I am engaging in this activity, while knowing that I have an contagious disease, the dancer can not be absolved of responsibility for the risk she takes.

Hey Avalons07
Thanks for the insight
Contractors have to operate within the limits set by the business.
I bet you are still a bargain a 1:20

Don't doubt you
The turkeys that would do so are slime
But in the end it is a problem for club management to handle for the dancer.
Average dancer weight 115 lbs
Average bouncer weighs 300 lbs
Who you gonna call

When I go to any person offering goods and services for a fee, I do so because I need the product, and I can't do it myself/ don't have the time/or some other reason. But the point is, I am there because of my own need. I am defined by my motivation.
When I go to a SC, I am going for some level of interaction with women. If I am defined by that motivation, WHO IS THE SLUT?
I have met women at SCs that I didn't admire because of their attitudes or because of how they treated their customers. But they were only one segment of a profession that offers great variety.
It is just wrong to paint dancers with one brush - i.e. slut. But if you do, remember what that says about yourself.

Touching in and of itself is not a problem; for instance: I often see dancer that I know take their customer's hand while going to the VIP area. It's the limits the dancer sets that are in contention here. I always ask what a dancer's limits are and I always abide by them. I do enjoy caresssing the dancers but do so in a way that stays within their limits and also draws compliments during the dance. Most dancers find it relaxing and stress relieving and a pleasant diversion from the grab and go approach.
If you meet people's wishes in a different way, good for you
If I like something that exceeds your limits, I'll respect your rules and patronize other dancers - no harm -no foul
And if I need some SQL work on a db I am struggling with and you are good at that, I'll consider your ability and possibly work with you.
Touching one aspect of SC service is only a problem when someone tries to sell their product as something other than it is.

I have met a few of those Witches (with a capital "B")but I've met more caring, interesting women at strip clubs than almost anywhere else. You are right, with a few exceptions, strippers are awesome. (and as for taking my money, nobody used a gun; they used a ....used a , well they didn't use a gun).
ps - ditto what Troop said

The way I see it is if someone is looking for something different than I am, good luck to them. Why would anyone care what another person wants. As long as no one is getting hurt: No harm-No Foul.

The central figure is swept away (?from the chamber in which the heroine was imprisoned in a previous post?) The purity imagery conveyed in the stars and their warmth was an interesting play on the old "Coldness of Space" theme.
Can both posts be leading to a confluence of plots?
Clearly you are conveying strong clear images which is the first basis for being an effective story teller.
Now, can you weave them into a fabric that tells a story either directly or metaphoically?
This comment is really pompous but this is interesting, so I'm letting my real bombasitic nature have at it. No offense - you have some talents here.

HI Christal
Fiction or not, your first post on this raised the questions. So what happens? " The answer is long overdue". I look forward to the other stories but would like to know about her captors; how long she's been there; why?

Thank you for a great telling of an incredible story.
I read no PL in it. The only choice I see is do as you did or be a cynical fossilized wart of an excuse for a human being.

Stiletto25's point is dead on. You don't have to be emotionally invoved to have your equipment working. Works for guys one way and women another. I've gotten women wet and known that they were casual participants. And I've gotten them wet and they have been totally consumed in the moment. I've always preferred the latter.

Hi Christal
Nice to see you back
I look forward to the story postings.
I think you should dance at the clubs where the environment fits you. If you do that, you will be more comfortable and will do a better job.(even than the one you did at Follies)
The business goal of a strip club is to give an experience that will cause the customers to spend money and come back. If you can do that - you've met you job reqs.
I have walked out of clubs because there was absolutely no mileage. On the other hand, I have paid for private dances and just talked to the dancer (See July 31 review of Bustop- Boulder, CO). My reqs are more about the whole package than about the parts (I recently noted in a response that women are not just mountains and valleys) - I look more for the dancers who do a good job on stage, who are interesting to talk to and seem to be having a good time themselves. My favs have ranged from 20 to 45. The one thing they had in common was they seemed to enjoy contact with me. I certainly did with them
Hang in there, C, sounds to me like you're spot on.

Christal - I do not doubt the sincerity nor impugn the motives of any of your correspondents (mostly or "sort of" anyway), but thanks for an interesting read and for a three - dimensional picture of a sensitive, artistic person.
I think you should try us on one of your more romantic - inspirational stories; I'd like to read one as a way to better define the person we are all writing to. (to whom we are writing?)
BTW - I once saw a chart that chronicled a job search. It read
No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,No,Yes.
Hang in there.
