Theft in the workplace. Tips how to reduce it for custies and dancers alike.

Given the state of our current economy, it is no wonder that so many females are drawn to the adult entertainment industry. One thing that will never cease to amaze me from city to city, club to club is the fact that no matter how much money that there can be made is the THEFT factor.

There are a number of theories that I have when it comes to why it is that the 'low life' or girls who are predatorial choose to steal. They may have habits to support and may not necessarily want to engage in extras inside or outside of the club, so instead they resort to petty theft, they are simply greedy, they are small time scam artists, they are cleptos and simply cannot control their urges, or they make a small time business of it on the side by selling their stolen wares.

Whatever the case may be, it is best that you be very wary from the get go that EVERY club has these girls and if at all possible try to find out who they are so that your wallet doesn't end up lighter as a result.

Recently, at my club we even orchestrated a set up in attempt to catch one of the thieves in the act to ferret her out. While money was stolen, (albeit she never admitted to it) the hard evidence came up missing but was never found on her person so that she could then be summarily dismissed for good from the workplace.

So, what are some of the best things that we are dancers or you as custies can do to protect ourselves from such lurking would be sticky fingers?

*Knowledge is power. Check your valuables at the door or simply put leave them in the car in a hidden place where they are safe and locked. You can always go out to your vehicle to get more money.

*Buyer beware: Some of these ROB'S work in teams and flock to men who are drunk and focus on one thing your wallet.

*That goes for dancers too! Secure your valuables including purse and wallet in a safe and secure place. I learned the hard way NOT to bring my wallet (sadly) into the workplace. Lockers can be broken into.

*Men if you do bring in a couple hundred bucks put it in a non-discript place where it is not instantly recognizable. A shirt pocket may just be a little too tempting for some of these scammers.

*For goodness sakes guys from out of town, DON'T flash your cash, that is just common sense. Really!

*Always, always, always! Buyer beware. If you get a gut feeling that something isn't right, then don't. Hunches are oddly natures' way of telling you that something is off. Don't question it. Just don't proceed any further, period.

*Be aware of your surroundings and be in control. Now this just simply means pay attention to things around you. Don't get so drunk that you become someone's next victim. Remember there are unfortunately girl's who will lie in the shadows waiting for the occasional 'mark or 'marks' to spot and then it's game on. Don't be that guy.

Remember therse are just guidelines. Always have fun. Be courteous, and more often than not you will find that most are courteous in return. However, there are the 10% or so that spoil it for everyone that you need to be aware of.

As always, Happy Lapping!!
Good article Avalons.
One thing: we've had some cars broken into and ransacked for hidden cash, cards and other stuff.
I often stash valuables in my car when going into clubs but I do it before I get to the club and I stash in a really inconvenient place to access if you were in a hurry - like under the spare tire.
I also divide my cash into packets that I keep in different pockets in my pants and shirt.
Thanks again for some useful info
