Another instance where lopaw has a distinct advantage over the male PL population!

Have you ever asked a dancer weird questions without trying to freak her out?
I'm glad to see some of our dancer members chiming in on this thread!

    Holding hands
@ Shadow and Motor: I particularly like that practice. I've often mentioned to dancers that it's a way to class up their presence in the club. Once a customer agrees to spend money on a dancer, then it behooves the dancer to treat the customer a little nicer. It's a little more ladylike for a dancer to escort a customer to the lap dance area--either by the dancer taking the customer's arm, or leading him by holding his hand. At a club I used to go to, advance payment was required for the VIP room. Dancers and customers had to go to the bar to pay, which was at the opposite end of the club from the VIP entrance. Some dancers were so good at escorting their customers, that I often thought, I'd pay $5. just for that walk.

@ Minnow: See my June 14, 2011 thread, "Dancers Who Are Grandmothers." https://www.tuscl.net/postread.php?PID=15772 One had a daughter who also stripped (at a different club), but had stopped by the time I found that out. Fortunately, none of the three I mentioned in my thread ever showed me pics of their grandchildren.

@ carolynne: You would do well to learn the difference between the words "elicit" and "illicit." In the event you were being facetious, that shoots your argument.

I am a Dancer, Looking for clubs to visit!!
The usual advice for dancers first posting on TUSCL is to look at www.stripperweb.com It's a website for strippers and mostly read by strippers. TUSCL's audience is mostly male customers. There are dancer members, but very few of them regularly participate in the discussions. One that does, who is from Austin-Killeen, TX is JayJaydancer. I suggest you send her a private message (upper right corner of your screen) for specific advice. She may be able to offer suggestions. Her profile is: https://www.tuscl.net/u.php?UID=229698

If that club has 100 girls on a non-event night, isn't that enough to choose from? You're probably better off going when it's a regular night. I often hear of dancers complaining that the customers on event nights are mostly young, and there to ogle, not buy dances. Sometimes, I have difficulty making choices (not just in strip clubs)when there are too many choices available.

I agree with those above, who say a little conversation about strippers' kids is okay, but showing pics is more than I want to know. I always remembers that parents, particularly mothers, like to talk about their children. It's natural for them to do that. But, showing photos, and especially in a strip club, is more than customers usually want to know about. Other stripper moms in the club--yes, they'd probably appreciate them.

A very fat stripper that left me very impressed
I concur with Papi. I like thick girls, but she's a little too thick. Definitely chubby. But, she gives an amazing effort!

VIP rooms that are not private
I prefer the privacy of an individual booth, but even communal areas can make clubs successful. This is the VIP room of Sands Showgirls in Seattle. It is known as a high mileage club, one of only two right now. So, it must work. Dancers tooting their own horns.
I play the French horn. Any dancer wanting to "toot a horn," *better* have her own. I'm not letting any dancer near mine.

Sorry, I made my last post before I saw you said Apple Valley. Adelanto and Hesperia are near you. That's a strip club waste land. I suggest that you go south through the Cajon pass (Interstate 15) and check out clubs in Ontario, Rialto, and Upland. City of Industy/La Puente clubs aren't that much further for you. They're in the far east end of Los Angeles County. I once knew a dancer who commuted for two years from Victorville (next to Apple Valley) to clubs in the City of Industry .

The Riverside and San Bernardino County cities that have strip clubs are: Adelanto, Barstow, Cathedral City, Coachella (latter two just outside of Palm Springs), Colton, Hesperia, Ontario, Palm Springs, Redlands, Rialto (a Spearmint Rhino is there), San Bernardino, and Upland (home to Tropical Lei--maybe the nastiest club in So. Cal.) Check those clubs' reviews. Hope that helps.

The Inland Empire in So. Cal. is a vry large area. Politically, it's Riverside and San Bernardino counties. (San Bernardino County is the largest county in the U.S.) Which city are you staying in, or where in the IE would you like to work?

Topless w/ alcohol Vs. Nude w\o alcohol
Having experienced both, in California and other states, I prefer nude clubs. They're looser because the club doesn't risk loosing a liquor license if things get loose. More dancer-customer (two-way) contact, and more mileage all around is available in nude clubs.

If you're speaking of the "Inland Empire" of Southern California, follow lopaw's advice. Lots of coastal states have an "inland empire." Here in Washington state, there's only one club in our "inland empire," Deja Vu, in Spokane. Not at all recommended.

Ermita, it appears that the link you posted was for the entire Tonight show of March 15. Mine starts with just a brief segment, that I wanted the TUSCL audience to see. I believe that the rest of the show from that point continues.

What should I include in a review?
The decor, parking, and other physical attributes are less important. First look to see if those have been covered by others in earlier reviews. I suggest you concentrate on your trip that night as it relates to the dancers mostly. Some of the other club personnel may be significant too: deejay, waitresses, managers, bouncers, but less emphasis on them is recommended.

Sometimes I am reminded that I am a PL too
I concur with Papi and Che. Do you attempt to "fix" this girl. It will be beyond your ability and you'll regret it in the end. Some of us members have been down that road.

How can I make the most of my strip club time?
Another suggestion that often comes up in this subject area: Go clubbing right at the end of the month. Often dancers are desperate to make money to pay their upcoming rent on the first of the next month. As a customer (I really don't like to use the term "PL"), you might not spend any less money than usual, but you might get more for your money when dancers are hurting.
