The rooms are pretty popular, with the entry level one costing the same as doing a three-pack of singles. Pro: No hands-off rule. Con: If you don't click with the dancer, it cost you $120 to find out.

Agree with Fred56 - Not an extras place, at least by what I think most tusclers consider to be extras. I have enjoyed a majority of the dances that I have had there over the past year or so. Not the single dances though - you need to go for the 10+ minute rooms. I believe that single dances still require you to keep your hands at your side. Not only is that no fun, it's just plain awkward.

Good catch, Electronman. The Millstream has several options for dances. Single dances cost $40 each and are done in an open area. I'm not sure of the current rules, but they used to be hands-off so I have given up on them.
The 10-minute dances are done in a separate area that contains a few booths, for lack of a better term. The area is behind a door, but your booth is open to the room. So the privacy varies depending on if others are getting dances at the same time. During my recent dance, a couple came in about halfway through my dance. A bit of an interruption, but not much.
I have never done the longer/more expensive rooms, but I know the top option is done in the "skybox" which is an individual room with one-way glass which views the club.
Regarding mileage - I'll just say that YMMV as with all clubs and dancers. Generally speaking, you don't have to sit on your hands in the rooms, like you did in the single-dance area. I'll also add that the Millstream has never been known as an extras place like the clubs down on the Baltimore Block.

^^ 100% agree with the "anti-utilization" campaign! That word is over-utilized.

Years ago, I had a friend who lived in Texas.
Back then, many clubs in Houston had those searchlights shooting big beams up into the night sky. And you can see them for miles there due to the flat terrain. He often commented on how he'd run out to Target or some other errand, see those lights, and then follow them to the club. Like a moth to a flame.

^ I am a fan of the 1970's Playmates, probably because seeing them as a adolescent back then was very sporadic. My dad had a collection of Playboy calendars somewhat hidden in his basement workshop, but that was only 12 photos a year. Seeing a magazine was a rare treat.

I think there are a several factors in play here. The first few deal with our perspectives.
I recently looked though an old high school yearbook. And the pretty, early 80s girls looked as pretty as ever to me, even though hairstyles and fashion have certainly changed. But when I look at a yearbook from a decade before, I wonder why the cheerleaders and homecoming court looked so unattractive. I think memories of our younger days color our perceptions.
I think we also remember the good stuff and forget the bad. This keeps us (moderately) sane and (somewhat) productive. I have some fond memories of past club trips where all the girls were hot. I also know that those trips were not that common, just like now. But I have forgotten the details of those subpar visits. Another thing to cloud our memories.
Easy access to porn also colors our perception. I've been going to clubs for 30 years and back then, porn viewing involved a trip to a video store. Now I can see whatever type of hot chick I like in the moment from my phone. This competition between 1000s of porn chicks and the few dancing at my local club right now unfairly clouds my perception. How can five average-strippers compete against porn pros?
Lastly, preferred styles of hair, makeup, clothes and body type do change over time. Like a pendulum they swing from one extreme to another. Thick is in now (and I am learning to appreciate it more) but some dancers are pushing the extreme into the obese area. After all, more people are more fat now. Including myself. I do hope the pendulum starts to swing back soon.

I agree with Dan3635. There is something (mildly) exciting about exploring a new club. No need for directions to the bar or the stage - if those are hard to find once you are inside, either the place or you are hopeless. As for the bathroom location, it is true that they are often tucked away somewhere - so just ask. The ATM may be hidden also, but you should stay away from that thing anyway.
That being said, some club orientation info may be useful. Such as "park in the side lot of XXX street" or "the main entrance is around the back". There have been some clubs where I had to circle the place to find the entrance.
Besides dancer and price info, other "culture" info is useful. Such as: Is there stage seating? Does anyone sit there? (sometimes no one does), Do tips go in the garter? Accepted throughout the set? Or just at the end? Tip walk? Do servers come to tables or do you go to the bar? Do dancers approach guys sitting at stage or only those further back? That's enough examples... I don't want to go all North/South/East/West with my details. :)
Of course, you can usually pick up the culture by observing others, but it can be helpful when the club is at low capacity. A lot of my out of town visits start out in the early evenings, so I've often arrived to some dead-appearing clubs with minimal role models available.

I don't make it to all-nude clubs as much as I used to, but I have noticed less nudity at the few I have visited over the past few years. I've also noticed tops staying on longer at the topless clubs. I think stage tipping may down also, but not sure if that. Maybe it's a chicken and egg problem?
I do recall my nude club visits from the 90's and 00's... Some may call it a gyno show, but spreading legs for many eager tippers was the norm that I remember.

I have not been to the Block clubs for 15+ years. (Hustler didn't count as a Block club in my mind.) The Block has been fading for a long time now; I fear this will hasten its eventual demise.

I was never a fan of the Block clubs, but would visit the Hustler Club. They had a decent decade, followed by terrible one, and then closure.
Hank is the expert on Bmore clubs! Where are the hot ex-Hustler girls dancing at, Hank? Penthouse?

I was talking with a (much younger) friend the other day about 80's music. I was telling him how early 80's metal became cartoonishly poppy by the end of the decade. Warrant's Cherry Pie is the epitome of that decline. Not a fan. Not a surprise that grunge took hold so quickly afterwards.

I have had two-girl dances in the distant past. Both were not a good value - double the cost and also much more air-dancing. Maybe if the girls were more into each other, it could have been a better show.
The was an upside to the second time though... I was familiar with one of the pair already and her dances were okay at best. The other dancer was new to me and more fun. I never saw the new dancer again, but on subsequent visits, the familiar dancer was much much better. Maybe just a coincidence?

I've been reading some of my old MS reviews and reminiscing. I've been going there for 20+ years, back when the walls were paneled, and lap dances were non-existent. Time flies. Lots of review comments about the MS "going downhill" and just as many referring to "on the upswing".
Hard to believe that I last had a lap-dance there in 2019 and my last room was 2015. The one-way laps were infrequent due to their general lameness. And I assumed the rooms were not much better. But now I know better. Or just got lucky. Only way to know for sure is to partake more often.

That's good to know, Jimmy. Thanks for the info. I am long overdue for a PHC club visit... In fact, it was Scores the last time I went!
I was not aware that MS recently raised their prices. Hopefully, PHC doesn't follow suit.
