Question for the strippers here: Do you ever find some customers very attractive
Jablake, the situation you describe may be due to the fact that young dancers are looking for a relationship, but ultimately, since "it is all about the money" reality out there, "the old farts" will always be demand since they are the ones with the money.

Am I Too Big? Yes.
Jablake, good point, "I am taking the 5th" should be my new reply to "Yes or No questions. David, you know the saying along the lines of "all women are beautiful given the right amount of alcohol" and the comeback that goes like this: " and all men are handsome given the right amount of money". This centuries-old wisdom drives me nuts and the only thing I CAN do is to drink more and refuse dances - it'll teach'em! :)

Am I Too Big? Yes.
Asking closed end questions like "Am I too big?", "Am I too small?" and the like leaves you with no choice but to let them have it. Obviously, not the best approach especially that customers' preferences are subjective and there is nothing much they can do change it. A smart dancer might have a chance to talk a customer into trying something different thought.

Dancer incomes getting hit
I can only speak for Michigan. Now it is the state with the highest unemployment rate of over 7% and the highest rate of home foreclosures. This situation does two things. First, just like you mentioned, reduces the spending by the patrons, and second, forces more girls into becoming dancers. As the result, the competition for the patrons increases and more girls are willing to take it OTC. A great market for the customer that is still willing and able to spent money. I'd be curious to see just how far the things will get. Economic recovery for Michigan is not "due" until 2009, by the most optimistic prognosis.

I want to be just like you when I grow up, and if I get to meet either of you, I would like to shake your hands. I just need to make sure I have a hand sanitizer to be used afterwards! LOL !

I think Chandler has nailed it perfectly. But I will go one step further to say that if you are the man that is having sex, you do not see the shoes most of the time. The shoes are kept on for the viewer of the act and the definition offered by Chandler, imo, applies to the viewer more so than to the "doer" (how poetic, lol).

Jablake, I agree and since "it is all about money", money should rule over the "anti-touch" and "size" issues real quick. But how did you come up with the conclusion that most dancers are underpaid? I think they are paid well but blow the money on you know what.

David, just one question: I can do money part of the equation, but what is the minimum size to "matter"? Any detailed info from the pink sight?

Bones, I like your idea of "trade credit". Imagine how much fun it would be if dancers started to have a punch cards (10th one free), do volume discount for all :) and be able to match deals offered by competitors (after over-the-phone verification). Credit card industry should catch on to this and offer frequent-flyer miles or other perks to be converted to (participating) "club-money"... OK back to reality, lol.

Just where is the cut off point?
1) Yes, let's keep the term "mileage" as a level of contact (girding, etc) and extras as everything else. 2) Let’s assume that someone from the club is reading our board and go from there. Shouldn't be sharing names, descriptions that identifies the persons (i.e. short Asian with a tattoo on her left foot, etc) 3) Yes. Even if it may be an innocent review, the perception of why we liked certain dancer may do more harm to a dancer than service. Think who may be reading this: fellow dancers, member of club staff, dancer's SO, even cops... Suggestion: in club reviews, let's avoid anything that may lead the reader to believe he can find extras there in general, and especially, from a particular dancer. I often limit myself to something like "hot girl" or "good looking" and try to avoid mileage / extra discussion. Meanwhile, when we share our stories, as long as we do not disclose the location, I want to know all the details. Among ourselves we can share names / locations either at TUSCL convention or via private email. Make sense?

Blackmail, can it happen?
Once a dancer sitting across from me at a semi-circle-like bar was dialing on her cell while the camera was directly pointed at my face. Instinctively, I turned my face away from the camera. A bouncer standing by caught that and instructed the girl to point the camera down. Though I admired the bouncer's professionalism, I could not add this little story to the club's review...

DJ with a personal touch and a sense of humor.
I good DJ is hard to find. The job does not require much training and they make good money. However, a good DJ is a true asset for both groups: the dancers and the customer. And yes, they do get "some" but that is atopic for another dicussion...

Who dances for you?
Clubber, if my may put my 2 cents. It seems that the person you are looking for is the one who fits your description of ideal lover. Given the fact that your club has a great variety of dancer and you are comfortable refusing dances from others, you just look for someone that creates an immediate reaction on your part. This could be a subconscious image that has somewhat materialized for you, or, visa-versa, you made a real person's look "work" for you. Either way, you are a lucky guy: you know what you want. Sure it may change, but someone smart said that past and the future are illusions that exist in the present. Happy for you!

The Positives Don't Add Up . . .
Jablake, I would value the upward mobile one more. However long she may stay with you, you would enjoy the company more knowing that you spent the time with the best. Life is too short to settle for second best just so it is more convinient. One could find himself marrying the house-wife type and have an affair with a hottie that makes more money. What's the point?
