If chandler "took him out" why was it necessary for founder to ban him also, and why is he back as "BobbyI"? Perhaps, chandler "took him out" to dinner or something?

That being said, we have at least three trolls on this board. The dumbest is certainly MisterGay who never even tries to contribute anything beyond flames. A close 2nd in terms of dumbness (but a clear first in terms of rabidity) is parody, who is at least "clever" enough to try and make 1 in 20 of his posts somewhat on topic. (Even though he is too gutless to take a stand on anything, and will always side with the safe "liberal" position.) njcsfan is probably the most skillful troll (but still not very good to some of the real pros we used to see on USENET). He can often make on topic and even good posts. He still can't stand the heat head on, however, and will resort to lying and flaming when he feels his knees start to give way. His biggest weakness are his short fuse, poor memory, and just his general belief that no one will ever ask him to back his arguments up (b/c when the later happens they immediately fall apart). It was quite easy for me to bust each of them. Personally I wish there were more talented trolls here. The existing ones presenting no challenge with even a basic grasp of elementary logic.

arbeeguy: I've said it before and I will again. This board, for a few brief moments can be about exchanging useful information and ideas about strip clubs and the culture. However, for most of the guys here it is just a power struggle: You see they are losers in real life, and are trying to compensate for it her by showing they are "top dog". Hence you'll see them picking this, of all the places on the internet to have their silly little debates over politics, history, economics or some other bullshit totally unrelated to strip clubs. I'm not sure who they are trying to impress? wondergirl, perhaps? Others like parody are filled with hatred from people in their childhood, and are trying to make a point of how different they are from them, so will try and attack caricatures without looking at the complexities of the real person. Others (like you) will think you stay above the flames, when in reality you too will flame whenever you feel like it, but kid yourself you are different. Nope. This board may have its lulz, but will never change fundamental. I mean just look at the stock of "men" it fills its ranks from: strip club junkie. Please.

In fact, it seems to me that you troll-girls are in a bit of a dilemna. If you don't flame him, he just debates rationally, defeats you as usual and you look dumb. If you flame him: a) you make yourselves look foolish by flaming; b) he out flames you so you feel dumb; c) the board grinds to a stand still if he decides to fully escalate.

I don't know. I think this "BobbyI" character (hey, that's me) is pretty adaptable. He can engage and defeat the posters here in rational debate and he can also outflame them. Probably why he has so many enemies. I think the only way to really get rid of him is to ban him.

clubman2: Yes, of course there would be those doubts, unless it was super clear that she fit the profile of a girl who won't. (And as exacting a profile as I think I can make, I am sure there would always be exceptions, then I would have doubts)... However, I think people always miss the point about why the job is really so bad. I don't think it's the grinding or even extras, but just the way they come to see the world due to the culture. The girls lose work ethics and ambition. They come to rationalize that stealing, lying, and manipulation are ok (and it is funny being on these boards where we see customer play right along with them). The extent to which that was happening to her would me barometer about how much trouble she was in. (Needless to say drug usage, especially heroin, would be a big red flag as well.) Still, you are right, emotionally it might be harder to handle "possible whorishness" than "ethical degradation". But, hopefully, the rational mind wins out at the end of the day.

The job doesn't necessarily have to be bad, and there are some girls who can do it without a big negative impact. The longer it goes on the more likely it will start to show harmful affects, however. The girls I see who it doesn't seem to harm are the ones who have other things going on in their lives so that stripping is not a major component of their lives. They are also the ones who don't lie or try to rip off people and who treat others (including customers) well. Also not doing extras seems to be very important to preserving self-esteem, although there are some extremely rare ones who can handle that (much, much more unlikely than most junkies would like to think though). You are right the "secret" part is the key. If she felt she had to keep it secret I think it would be more likely that she was in the vast, vast majority who suffer harmful of effects (mostly due to guilt) because of the job. To twist your question a bit though, if she did not feel the need to keep it secret, she would be much more likely to be one of the ones who could handle it. In any case it would boil down to can she handle it without bad consequences for herself. Most cannot. But there are exceptions. I would trust my own judgment to know which she was. (Have to qualify this by saying I'm not married and have no children (that I know of), so that's how I think I would feel.)

Well my big objective is to find the girls who will do OTC. Yes I would say "most" LDs are a waste of money if that was all there was to it. But when looked at as a means/screening for OTC they have value. Also some (very few) girl's LDs are so good that they are worth the price even if they do no extras or OTC. That's pretty rare though.
