If there are legitimate human trafficking issues in play in either Ontario massage parlors OR strip clubs, there are likely already laws on the books to deal with those problems. The fact that this is going to be decided by an arbitrator in a purely administrative process for "unbecoming conduct" as a teacher likely means that she's already involved in a union-sponsored process. It'll all depend on what the past practices, rules, and regulations are when it comes to an employee's conduct as a teacher. If she lied to her potential employer about her work history before she got this teaching job, then she is likely toast. Either way, she's a dummy for not using a pseudonym.

Prostitution is technically legal in Canada, but it must currently be done in private places & it technically cannot be done in a brothel or bawdy house right now. Solicitation in public places is also illegal now as is pimping. Many of the above restrictions are enforced haphazardly across Canada though. For instance, the FS strip clubs in Quebec are run pretty much without any hassle from anyone. I've seen open street prostitution in downtown Montreal be tolerated by local LE. I agree with farmerart that the above restrictions as they relate to prostitution have their days numbered in Canada, which is a good thing IMHO.

This is pretty standard procedure once a judge's judgment is called into question due to some kind of compromising situation. It also wouldn't be the first time that a white judge was accused of racism while on the bench in the deep South.

I don't think that it's fair to call them bouncers per se, but the Cadillac Lounge in RI has had some female LD area monitors before. They were pretty strict too. I haven't run into many house moms in my strip club travels, but I know that Desire in RI has one, and the one at Temptation Gentlemen's Club in MA will even do nude LDs or VIPs if you want. I just saw an old interview with porn star/Bunny Rancher Kandi Hart, and she said that she always wanted to be an FBI agent when she grew up. She tried working at a security guard agency, but none of their clients ever wanted her to come back, since they didn't think that she was intimidating enough (she's only 4'9" & around 80 lbs). She tried out for a LE position as well but never got a call back. She also was apparently even too little to get into the U.S. military.

There's apparently more to this than first meets the eye. The newly elected independent Governor of RI has pledged to end the previous practice of mandating that firms doing business with the state of RI use E-verify, a free Internet-based system run by the federal govt. that allows businesses to determine the eligibility of their employees to work in the USA. The current head of the RI State Police likes the current system and has vowed to continue to actively work with federal authorities to catch undocumented immigrants in RI. This recent takeover & sting use of an alleged brothel where some of the workers there were apparently in the USA illegally was meant to at least partially embarrass the incoming Governor & maybe change his mind, which I don't think he will. I was recently at the new replacement club for the Foxy Lady South Coast (Temptation Gentlemen's Club) in MA, and it seemed like they weren't clipping songs at all. The best deal at that club still seemed to be the VIP section at $165/30 minutes of time though.
