This is a good read. I am not the same generation or raised in the same area as you rev. I did grow up in a highly dysfunctional house that was extremely violent. I have chosen to leave the area I grew up in. I have chosen higher quality people to surround myself with. The only thing I did was change my environment and it took an entire village to raise this idiot and make me what I am today and what I will become in the future.

There was a 2 amer at my usial go to club a couple years ago and they added a metal detector at the time. They ended up removing it becUse it affected their business too much. One of the bouncers thst was there the night the shooting hsppened was pretty fresked out by that. He told me that just proves how many weapons were being taken inside. It could just send a negative message to some people and that is why they stay away.

Going off of nicespice comment about cash for weed in Oregon. It is the same in Colorado and probably all other states where marijuana is legal. I do know someone who is a bank examiner and the info I got about that is that banking laws do not allow a Marijuana based business to have a bank account because weed is still against federal law. When the federal laws change that will likely change.

@ twentyfive I have gotten to the point where i will call law enforcement if necessary with a poaitive attitude instead of handling things on the street. I will at least give them the chance to do their job

As others have said, you could probably kiss that money goodbye. Itbis good advice to never loan money to family or friends. If I do loan money to people close to me I usually don't expect it back from the start. That way I am not disappointed. Money makes people funny

This is sad indeed. I don't have much respect for cops. I think most of them sre probably decent but the occasional department has a very high perce tage of dirty cops. I know someone who was arrested and went to jail and saw an attractive young lady who was also arrested be harrassed by cops. They were demanding sex from her. She was in for a dui. She refused and resisted. My friend heard them beating her and her screaming. The next morning she was dead. Cops like this should have the privilege of the same treatment themselves.
