Sure but they aren't stupid. They are paying for what they want. If they want sex they aren't going to pay for it in a strip club where it might get into the papers or hit radar on line. Years ago I had a fave dancer at a club in providence who used to dance for Mo Vaugn when ever he made his then-infamous trips to the strip clubs. Mo would take two or three girls into champagne for an hour or two, tip like crazy and never try to make a move on any of them. The girls all walked away with a grand or more just for semi nude conversation. I was seeing the same girl OTC in a hotel room for a couple of hundred bucks and we were doing a lot more than talking. These guys aren't dumb, just careful.

Depends on the club and the situation. If I'm doing individual dances I sometimes tip back the $5 fee that the house collects per song but if I'm doing a full VIP I rarely tip. I'm handing a woman $300 for an hour's work.

The I team report shined a light on something that is really no secret to anyone in the know. Hopefully the excitement will die down sooner rather than later.

I've been with escorts who danced but wouldn't do extras in the club, used different names and never even told most of their club customers that they also escorted. I've also had dancers who escorted and offered OTC after just one meeting in the club. The dancers who only do FS in the club but won't escort outside seem to think it's a safety issue. That last group seems to be getting smaller as time goes on and clubs start to charge higher house fees.

Cheaters is still closed though it may reopen. Club Fantasies, The Foxy Lady and Cadillac Lounge are open but have greatly reduced privacy in the private dance booths. The girls are being watched and it's not unusual for a bouncer to pop in during a dance to make sure nothing is going on. The Satin Doll is temporarily closed due to a soliciting charge. Club Desire seems to be business as usual. Private rooms are still private and the action is still hot and heavy.

The one and only "con" to me at least is that I'm a regulars guy and none of my regulars are working. Quite of a few of the clubs I frequent are opening tonight after being closed during the day. Other than lack of talent what's the big deal?

I like to look at the bright side. The price of the "2 for 1" was $25 instead of $30 last Saturday night since there were no t-shirts for the girls to peddle. I can't wait to see what the owners come up with next...

Good point! I used to see these Brazilian girls who worked for a Boston area agency. There was little to no English spoken by any of them but it was never really an issue. They knew what to do.

I don't really care what the club does. It's all up to the dancers. While there is certainly a segment of the dancer population who will hang out with the cute young guys for hours and walk away with no money those are not the girls I'm interested in anyway. The smart girls know where the money is.

Pre-internet (80's & 90's) the street walker scene in Boston was pretty damn good. It was more like $60 for BJ and $100 for FS but there were dozens of girls out every night and most of them were very hot. Things changed fifteen or so years ago when the "Combat Zone" (Boston's adult entertainment area) was closed down and the sw trade scattered. Police crackdowns and busts combined with the internet and the availability of on-line ordering have reduced sw traffic in my area to almost nothing. I'm not as stupid as I was back then. If you read scl.com the message boards will often mention where dancers have moved on to. The most popular migrations seem to be between caddy and desire if the girl was dirty or over to the foxy if she was a reasonably clean dancer. Some girls have also headed up to Mario's in Webster mass.

@farmerart. I don't really see much point to you trying to look for extras on SW. Even though there is a customer section it's really not what the site is about.

Former stripper: I can't really argue with you since I don't read the women's sections on SW. I participate as a customer and, while I have had a few run-ins over the years with angry dancers and even more angry customers, it's never been enough of an issue for me to leave the site. There is never going to be total fairness under any model. We all have to decide where to participate and where not to based on what works best for us.
