I typically only tip a dancer I want to sit with me single $1 bill. A bigger bill is used if I think more persuasion is needed.

Some clubs get ranked based on "things" and criteria that have little to do with what makes it a VERY favored club to you based on your experiences there.
My favored club is Flight Club in Inkster Michigan on Michigan Ave. I really don't pay any attention to its rankings.

ALWAYS take more cash to a club than you expect to spend. Any person who uses a club ATM is a major FOOL! Use of Credit cards is also not a good idea. TOO much chance of bogus charges.

"3) I started off tipping all dancers on stage. That is a habit I broke very quickly. Now I tip stage dances only when I'm interested in meeting the dancer. I usually carry some $2 bills expressly for this purpose. Unusual enough to make you stand out in some clubs."
An interesting idea, I may try it. Regarding #4 - I will buy a dancer a drink if I'm interested in getting VIP interaction.

It is their Monetary & financial loss SuperDude. Seems they feel they can afford to bypass this source of income. Maybe a "10" can afford to be "Picky", but can other dancers afford to throw away income by being prejudiced???

It is not surprising that this attitude is still around in the South. BUT you'll find it all over the place. Prejudice & HATRED knows no geographical boundaries, and is in every walk of life.

Alcohol & intoxication doesn't enhance any interaction.
rickdugan's use of the word "depressed", speaks volumes about how alcohol is used by by persons.
I find it VERY easy to have fun & enjoy myself in social situations without the effects of alcohol.
