I doubt many dancers visit TUSCL. The reason zbone.com gets stripper Web traffic is because they have a Dancer of the Month page, where girls contribute a photo (usually a glam photo) to promote themselves. It appeals to some dancers' vanity, I guess.

Well, chandler, asking her beats beating around the bush (no pun intended), which is what jpac73's doing. At least if he asks, the lies he'll be hearing are the ones from her, not the ones he's telling himself.

I use a cheap eMachines PC running Windows XP. As far as I can tell, the only reason to buy an expensive PC these days is if you like playing computer games, but you could buy a PlayStation 2 or Xbox 360 and get a much better deal on a gaming rig.

I saw Sarah Silverman on a flight to LA on my way to Hawaii 12 years ago. She's not my type, but she's a good looking woman.
I mentioned Charlize Theron in the other recent thread on this subject. Check her out in Aeon Flux this weekend or in the swimming pool scene with Ben Affleck in Reindeer Games.
Naomi Watts might be fun to see strip. She's Ann Darrow in the upcoming remake of King Kong, and she did a lesbian scene in Mulholland Drive.

You want to sit at the geek table? Eww.
I write code on my Celeron too. I don't need a high-powered machine to write or test code, only to run it in production scenarios -- which of course I would never do on my home PC.

RomanticLover, answer me this: what kind of woman loves a "romantic lover" who spends all his time posting stupid shit like you do here on this Web site?

At the end of the month, there are more dancers in the club, according to them, but I can't recollect there being less customers in the club ever at the end of the month. Last night, it was busier at the club I visited than I've seen it in a long time for a weekday night.

Pleasant conversation and personalities have half lifes too unfortunately. Thankfully, memory is one of the first things to go so some things will never get old.

I went to the VIP with a dancer new to the club. She told me the first time she went to the VIP the guy she was with did a few lines of coke and then had her dance from him.
I haven't done drugs ever. My last experience with a dancer doing drugs was one giving me dances in a club a month ago. I smelled formaldehyde when she got close to me; formaldehyde not being a scent common to me, I Googled formaldehyde and discovered that it might be a tell-tale sign of ecstacy or PCP use.

The crazy and perhaps great thing about it is that 50 years from now, people are going to look back to these times, shake their heads, and wonder how we got by with today's technology. The few of us still around by then will tell everyone that we got along just fine, thank you very much, and that things were better than they seemed.
There are things in research and development now that make the technology in sci-fi entertainment look possible or even quaint and old-fashioned. A cold beer and a warm naked 19 year old blonde with a smile on her face never seems to go out of style though.

Cheerless hustle is both cause and effect, a vicious cycle that feeds back into itself.

The amount of hustle is also affected by how long the dancers have been working there. Newbies used to the low-paying wages of their old jobs are ecstatic about the easy money they make dancing. Once they become pros and get used to the income, their attitude suffers, and they began to look for greener pastures ("better" clubs, OTC whoring, etc).

True that. I haven't been a fan of low-key clubs because the talent there leaves something to be desired to my tastes, but I can see the appeal if personal connections with the talent matter more than appearances or mileage.

It's marketing so bookseller chains will know where to put them on the shelves. It has little to do with the actual content of the book.

If I ever found a cutie like that at a local club, I would tell her to move to a busier club, make more money, use some of that money to get an education and save the rest, and then get the hell out of the business.
Dancing when you are young and pretty and can make a lot of money off dirty old bastards like you and me is fine, but eventually she gets old and not so pretty and then what is she going to do?

Those times were simpler because the people had overly simplistic conceptions of what fiction and nonfiction were, not because those notions ever actually existed in meaningful ways.

In Tampa, the top full nude clubs have the best looking girls, the top topless club is second, and everywhere else is one huge assortment of mostly mediocre-looking girls: attractive on a basic level still, just not eye popping or stunning.

Really, JMguy? It seems more like self-referent dramatic irony to me. Even if he were aware of the irony of calling himself RomanticLover, that would be more sarcastic than ironic.

chitown, they push aside the bikini when they can get away with it, which can be never in a strict club.

Sigh, more of the navel gazing. Have we really run out of interesting things to talk or even bicker about?

Guys walk out of clubs without paying the talent for dances. You'd be surprised how often this happens.
