I don't think I've ever run across a dancer who had ever heard of this site. I used to ask once in awhile if they ever read reviews of their clubs but stopped because all I ever drew was blank stares - they had no idea what I was talking about.
I've actually known several dancers who had computers and used them regularly, but none of them ever read TUSCL. I don't think they ever read Stripperweb either. In fact I've never found a stripper who ever heard of it either.
I doubt many dancers visit TUSCL. The reason zbone.com gets stripper Web traffic is because they have a Dancer of the Month page, where girls contribute a photo (usually a glam photo) to promote themselves. It appeals to some dancers' vanity, I guess.
The vast majority of dancers I've known didn't know this site existed. This doesn't shock me since thay aren't customers so they don't go on the internet and type the words "strip clubs" into a google search. Those who DO know about the site find it pretty lame but are always fascinated when they see a post about themselves or someone they know. I've spent a few afternoons on dancer's computers showing them the wonders of TUSCL.
Although the dancers that I asked had not heard of TUSCL, I was surprised just how many had heard of and regularly read "zbone.com", which is the bible of all things SC in LA/OC counties. Who knew that dancers could figure out a PC? I am truly humbled.
I've discussed it with some dancers at Favorite Club, and I don't think that any of them have indicated that they were familiar with it. But, God, are they intrigued by it..it's like high school all over again (in some cases, the best two years of their lives). I sometimes intend to print out a couple of pages to bring with me, but I never seem to get around to it. Probably for the best.
I once met a dancer at a club in the Quad Cities of Iowa who, once I told her I found out about her club off the internet, asked me whether I knew about the TUSCL website and a couple other ones. I told her that was the website I found out about her club at. That remains the only time a dancer told me about TUSCL.
I agree that most customers don't read TUSCL either. TUSCL is for hobbyists, not your average stripclub customer, similar to how your average beer drinker doesn't visit Web sites about beer.
