In the 90's I'd go see Julia Parton every time she appeared at the Admiral Theatre. She was very friendly and fun to spend time with. The same goes for Nina Hartley and her husband. They were both intelligent and personable and a lot of fun to hang out with.

Lopaw, I too am a fan of well done ink. Sloppy tats look bad no matter what. I am pleased to see the numbers of good women tattoo artists expanding. Hanna Achison (LA Ink & Chicago) is a brilliant artist. I’d love to have her do a nurse pin-up for me. As far as what you said about asian women and tattoos. “For some reason ink on an asian girl is a real turn-on for me. Don't know why.” I think I might know why it is a turn-on for so many. I think it has to do with what we perceive Asian ritual to be. That along with the quality of master Asian tattooists, the planning that goes into a large piece, and the execution of the artwork all add into the equation.

Don't be a jackass. Tattoos are about a right of passage not about marking yourself as a particular something. Do you ever ask anyone who is tattooed what you'd like to know? Most will put up with a few stupid questions.
